  1. Morning All!
late start here…we had to clean the deck again. the deck camera shows a pair of raccoons pooping and destroying stuff on the deck. they’re coming up the front steps, going to the grill to tear down and get into the drip cup, then it’s digging in the ash buckets (for goodness knows what) and digging in my stone cactus planter on the table…sigh…what a mess!

    1. Good morning, Pat! Sorry, I just can’t do Xmas in July – Hallmark STILL showing Xmas movies!!! Nice, cool night – heard a little thunder, saw a hint of lightning but it has cleared off now! Last evening, I went out to check on the cantaloupe vines to keep them contained…and saw GT in the yard on the east. A few minutes later, I walked back to the front to thin/re-direct Trumpet vines and saw him on the front walkway. As I walked closer, he walked further down the walkway so I backed up a bit and sat down near the garage on my big toolbox. He promptly laid down next to the front porch. I got up and went about working on the Trumpet vines and he was gone the next time I looked up.

This morning, he was waiting outside as usual but this time, when I opened the door to put the food dish out, he came right up to within about 5 inches – I stretched out my fingers and he sniffed them, then pulled back a little so I left him to his food. Bit by bit….

Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

Therefore by their fruits you will know them.”

I know you’ll be SHOCKED to learn none of these headlines are true. (Just a handful of dozens of false headlines)

Smith’s allegation is laughably weak—hearsay at best—with a brief paragraph of an alleged exchange btw 2 Trump employees. Trump’s name isn’t specifically mentioned…

For those with apparent reading disabilities (my lovely bot followers) I’ve gone to great lengths to highlight the incriminating evidence buried in Jack Smith’s new indictment.

This is the so-called “conspiracy” to delete video.

So what happened to the security tapes? Well… Image
In response to yet another subpoena (out of DC not FLA), Trump turned over security footage from Jan 2022-June 2022—an archive equally 3 years of footage. This is from court hearing last week:

But the BEST PART of it all… Image
is after all that, Smith’s team told Judge Cannon and Trump’s lawyers that oh, you only need to look at video from May 24 until June 2—when the alleged obstructive box-moving occurred.

    Cannon called BS on that.

    Nothing deleted. No conspiracy.

Instead of obtaining a warrant, the NSA would like to keep buying your data

“…A government report declassified by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence last month revealed that US intelligence agencies were avoiding judicial review by purchasing a “large amount” of “sensitive and intimate information” about Americans, including data that can be used to trace people’s whereabouts over extended periods of time. The sensitivity of the data is such that “in the wrong hands,” the report says, it could be used to “facilitate blackmail,” among other undesirable outcomes. The report also acknowledges that some of the data being procured is protected under the US Constitution’s Fourth Amendment, meaning the courts have ruled that government should be required to convince a judge the data is linked to an actual crime.
The US Supreme Court has previously ordered the government to obtain search warrants before seeking information that may “chronicle a person’s past movements through the record of his cell phone signals.” In the landmark Carpenter v. United States decision, the court found that advancements in wireless technology had effectively outpaced people’s ability to reasonably appreciate the extent to which their private lives are exposed….”

  8. but of course…china uses coal–the devil to climate freaks–to produce their solar panel components BUT that’s not factored into their carbon footprint.
    FTA
“We are investing hundreds of billions of dollars a year in technologies that are low-carbon only because someone wrote it down somewhere,” Mr. Mariutti said in the executive summary of his report. “There aren’t any national or international authorities who have bothered to understand on what basis and how this ‘paper knowledge’ was assembled.”

The problem is that most of the carbon intensity data that the IPCC—and governments—rely on for solar panels are based on modeling that’s likely to have vastly underestimated the carbon emissions of solar power because of a lack of transparency, or simply inaccurate or “made-up” data from Chinese manufacturers, according to the Environmental Progress report.

Over the years, China has become a dominant force in the production of solar panels. For example, about 97 percent of the global supply of solar wafers—a key component of photovoltaic cells—are made in China.

However, China’s growing share of the solar panel market hasn’t come about because of innovation.

“The majority of experts consulted by Environmental Progress agree that China’s competitive advantage did not lie in an innovative new technological process, but rather in the very same factors the country has always used to outcompete the West: cheap coal-fired energy, mass government subsidies for strategic industries, and human labor operating in poor working conditions,” according to the group’s report.

When he first released his independent report in April, Mr. Mariutti said in a post on Twitter that he was motivated to publish his findings “in light of the acceleration of European climate policy, which threatens to condemn Italy to irreversible decline.”

He said he felt it was his duty to make his research public in order to inform public policy decisions.

“In the last 10 years, the IPCC has systematically underestimated the carbon intensity of photovoltaic energy by pretending that photovoltaic modules are produced in Europe rather than in China,” he said at the time.

  10. “Biden’s DOJ Illegally Bribing States To Pass Gun Confiscation Laws: Lawmakers”
    BY TYLER DURDEN
    FRIDAY, JUL 28, 2023 – 09:30 PM
Submitted by Gun Owners of America,

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “Last summer, weak Republicans teamed up with Anti-Gun Democrats to pass the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act. Part of that law included funding for ‘red flag laws’ nationwide. The reason for this is that the Anti-Gun lobby knows that a national red flag law is totally unconstitutional and would immediately be struck down by federal courts. So instead, they chose to bribe states with federal funds into passing their own ‘red flag’ laws at the state level, where challenges to the laws could get stuck in court proceedings for years to come.

According to the letter penned by Senator Roger Marshall of Kentucky and Representative Alex Mooney from West Virginia, the Biden Department of Justice has weaponized Bipartisan Safer Communities Act to Illegally bribe states into passing red flag laws. In the letter, the lawmakers state that the Justice Department gave Federal funding to States that did not meet the criteria for due process.

“The Department of Justice appears to have weaponized the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act to illegally fund ineligible red flag laws and bribe pro-gun states into passing gun confiscation laws.” Interestingly, Minnesota passed a red flag law within 100 days of receiving $3.7 Million from this program.

These Federal grants were supposed to only be given to states whose ‘red flag’ laws met “due process requirements,” a term specifically set by one of the bill’s Republican authors, Senator John Cornyn of Texas. When Gun Owners of America pointed out that this provision would be abused and ignored by the government, Republicans who supported the legislation accused GOA of lying.

But now it seems that states that don’t have red flag laws at all — such as West Virginia, Alaska, Kansas, and Arkansas – got millions of dollars towards implementing these sorts of laws in their respective states. This letter — along with Representative Lauren Boebert’s Shall Not Be Infringed Act, which would repeal all the gun control passed by the 117th Congress — are just a few of the battles that GOA is fighting for your 2A rights every day on Capitol Hill.

    Read the letter here: https://www.scribd.com/document/661690125/Letter-From-Congress-to-DOJ-on-BSCA-Funding-Misuse-Grants#download&from_embed

So, pick up the phone and call your Senators and Representative and demand to know what they’re doing to hold the Biden administration accountable for this misuse of federal funds.”

  11. “World Seeks To Bypass Surrogacy Laws By Renting Wombs In War-Torn Ukraine”
    BY: JORDAN BOYD
    JULY 28, 2023

EXCERPT: “Ukraine may be embroiled in what could be the beginning of another world war, but its babymaking and womb-rental business is booming.

More than 2,000 babies are born to Ukrainian surrogates each year. Despite the country’s ongoing violent conflict with Russia, that number doesn’t seem to be slowing down.

“We’ve been trying to make the dream of having our own child come true for 10 years. It won’t be the bombs or the war that will stop us,” one Italian couple seeking a surrogate in Ukraine told The Guardian.

In Italy, much like most of Western Europe, surrogacy is illegal, and the Italian parliament is on its way to criminalizing commercial surrogacy arrangements abroad. Where surrogacy bans and restrictions fail, however, shady and exploitative Ukrainian fertility firms prevail.

Ukraine is a popular destination for people looking to buy eggs or rent a womb because of its lax assisted reproductive technology (ART) laws and cheap labor. Customers mostly come from countries in Western Europe, South America, and Asia where ART and commercial surrogacy are heavily restricted, if not banned. But even American couples who have access to one of the most unregulated fertility industries in the world seek the help of Eastern European companies and women to grow and deliver their babies.

Conducting reproductive business overseas, however, is no easy task. As Politico highlighted in a report this week, one California woman and her husband paid $10,000 to ship two of their embryos to Kyiv in an effort to avoid skyrocketing surrogacy costs in the U.S. The popular Ukrainian fertility firm BioTexCom confirmed it received the shipment but quickly told 45-year-old Tanya that transferring the embryos to a rented womb failed.”

  16. I got curious about the word “tabby” relative to cats…..

From Wiki: “The English term tabby originally referred to “striped silk taffeta,” from the French word tabis, meaning “a rich watered silk.” This can be further traced to the Middle French atabis (14th century), which stemmed from the Arabic term عتابية / ʿattābiyya.[4] This word is a reference to the Attabiya district of Baghdad, noted for its striped cloth and silk;[5] itself named after the Umayyad Governor of Mecca Attab ibn Asid. Such silk cloth became popular in the Muslim world and spread to England, where the word “tabby” became commonly used in the 17th and 18th centuries.[6]

Tabby is also comparable to the Spanish word ataviar, which means “to decorate or to dress or wear” and often implies luxurious clothing.[7] Use of the term tabby cat for a cat with a striped coat began in the 1690s and was shortened to tabby in 1774. The notion that tabby indicates a female cat may be due to the feminine proper name Tabby as a nickname of “Tabitha”.[8]

    Illegal immigrants Firearms Prohibition-

Defendant was arrested and indicted under 18 U.S.C. Section 922(g)(5)(A), which prohibits an alien who “is illegally or unlawfully in the United States” from possessing a firearm. Defendant did not dispute that he possessed a firearm, but filed a motion to dismiss the indictment, claiming Section 922(g)(5)(A) violated his Second Amendment rights. The district court denied Defendant’s motion, ultimately convicting him after a bench trial.

Defendant appealed, arguing that because he lived in the United State prior to his arrest, he was among “the people” protected by the Second Amendment. The Eleventh Circuit rejected Defendant’s argument, holding that the Second Amendment does not apply to all citizens. Under District of Columbia v. Heller, 554 U.S. 570 (2008), the Second Amendment confers the right to gun ownership to individuals, not collectively. Thus, certain groups of people are constitutionally deprived of the right to own or possess a gun. Based on the Eleventh Circuit’s “‘examination of a variety of legal and other sources’ from the Founding era,” aliens who are unlawfully present in the United States are among those who are constitutionally restricted from owning or possessing a firearm.

  19. “Bad Mormon Assigned To Pluto”
    WORLDVIEWS · Jul 30, 2023 · BabylonBee.com

SALT LAKE CITY, UT — By all accounts a subpar Mormon, local man Bryce Smith was assigned to govern Pluto upon his sudden passing yesterday.

“I’m a little bummed, yeah. I was really hoping for something exciting like Kobol, Arrakis, or Tattooine,” Smith said as he surveyed the tiny, barren landscape. “But hey — a planet’s a planet, right?”

Despite being somewhat friendly and industrious, Mr. Smith’s life as a member of the LDS church was mediocre at best. “Bryce stopped at Life Scout, never made Eagle,” said his brother, Joshua. “He did a two-year mission, but it was to Salt Lake City. He did get married, but after age 25 — and he became a physician’s assistant instead of a real doctor. Bryce just never quite had it.”

While easily avoiding Mormon Hell, Mr. Smith’s actions on Earth only narrowly earned him the third level of celestial glory. “I guess we should have started trying for kids on our wedding night,” said Mr. Smith, walking another lap around the dwarf planet. “Come to think of it, our preparedness stash was pretty weak – would have only held out a few weeks. I never once bought anything from the LDS cannery. Oh, well. Pluto’s still ok, I guess.”

At publishing time, Mr. Smith was becoming a bit bored and starting to regret attending the University of Utah.”

  20. “Hunter Biden Optioned To Make Room For 7th Grandchild On Family Roster”
    POLITICS · Jul 29, 2023 · BabylonBee.com

WASHINGTON, D.C. — After careful consideration, the Biden family announced that they have officially designated Hunter for assignment to make room for their 7th grandchild on the family roster.

“It was a tough call demoting Hunter to make room for what’s-her-name,” said President Biden. “I love my son, but we had to do what’s best for the team.”

After several years of having her existence denied, Biden’s seventh grandchild suddenly joined the family roster on Friday in a shocking move. “Just last week, kindly old family man Joe Biden screamed obscenities at an aide for accidentally patching in a call from the granddaughter he’d disowned,” said Chief of Staff Jeff Zients. “Word about the little girl had gotten out though, and apparently disavowing a seven-year-old girl doesn’t poll well with voters. Heck, that sort of thing wouldn’t poll well in the depths of Hell. Anyhow, we can’t have a little disowned granddaughter weighing Biden down in the polls. Welcome to the family!”

Unfortunately, the White House reported that to make room for the granddaughter, Hunter would have to be optioned off. “Hunter had a great run as a Biden,” said Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. “He contributed in literally millions of ways to the franchise. Still, no one can ignore the slump he’s been in lately. It’s dragging the team down, and it’s time to part ways. We thank Hunter for all he’s done for the Biden family and wish him well in his future endeavors.”

At publishing time, Hunter had reportedly been charged with 732 felonies within a minute of losing the Biden family name.”

“Whatever Devon Archer is (hopefully) about to tell the world, it must be a doozy because the Biden-Harris regime is using every possible method to silence him. As a best practice, he should stay away from windows and eat nothing that doesn’t come from a vending machine until after he testifies. The Department of Justice is trying to arrest him ahead of his testimony before Congress on Monday. According to Miranda Devine:

‘The DOJ is trying to arrest Devon Archer ahead of his bombshell testimony Monday about Joe Biden’s involvement in his son Hunter’s Ukraine business when he was VP. US attorney in the SDNY Damian Williams issued a menacing letter yesterday – Saturday – telling Judge Abrams to order Archer to go to jail immediately to serve a one year sentence for his fraud conviction.’

Devine, who has been the leading investigative reporter on all things related to the Biden Crime Family for years, gave us a taste of what to expect should Archer be allowed to testify:

‘Archer, 48, who is facing jail for his role in a $60 million bond fraud, is scheduled to testify to the House Oversight Committee about meetings he witnessed that were attended by Joe Biden either in person or via speakerphone when Hunter would call his father and introduce him to foreign business partners or prospective investors.

“We are looking forward very much to hearing from Devon Archer about all the times he has witnessed Joe Biden meeting with Hunter Biden’s overseas business partners when he was vice president, including on speakerphone,” said Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.), the committee chairman.

One such meeting was in Dubai late in the evening of Friday, Dec. 4, 2015, after a board meeting of the Ukrainian energy company Burisma, which was paying Hunter $83,000 a month as a director.

Archer, who also was a director, is expected to testify that, after dinner with the Burisma board at the Burj Al Arab Hotel, he and Hunter traveled six miles north to the Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach to have a drink with one of Hunter’s friends. While they were sitting outside at the bar, Vadym Pozharskyi, a senior Burisma executive, phoned to ask where they were because Burisma’s owner, Mykola Zlochevsky, needed to speak to Hunter urgently.’

We’ve survived the massive corruption of Barack Obama and George W. Bush. Most of us survived the Clinton Crime Family’s shenanigans. But against all odds, Joe Biden, his globalist puppet regime, and the crime family he’s been running for decades are proving to be the most corrupt and dangerous in modern history. They will go to any lengths to protect themselves, and for good reason. Their crimes seem so expansive that this entire nation may soon fall as a result of them.”

  22. “The Blessed Event” was the first episode of The Flintstones where Wilma and Fred share a double bed instead of two single beds. Remarkably, it was also the very first time any couple – real or animated – were shown together in the same bed on network television. The year was 1963.
Here we are 60 years later and there are something like 30 – or maybe even more – porn channels available on my Direct TV service. I’m sure it’s pretty much the same with all cable providers.

  23. “A Mister Softee ice cream truck got kicked out of one South Jersey neighborhood. Why? Did something truly awful happen to cause a beloved regional icon to be banished from visiting children on a hot, summer day? Did dozens of people in this neighborhood suddenly rise-up to defeat a decades-old business?

No. One person complained about the music that Mister Softee plays from its trucks. One.
You know the song. Everyone knows the song. It’s a part of living in many parts of this region. It’s been playing for decades and decades. But one person complained and ruined it for everyone in one neighborhood in Blackwood, Camden County.

Company officials say they try hard to not blast their music late at night and they also get complains from people about the music waking up sleeping infants in the middle of the afternoon, but they can’t please everyone and “we need to play music to get the people out.” PS – the truck is back in the neighborhood. The truck company’s President was quoted as as having said something to the effect of ‘Fuck her – play it louder…’

I hope someone smacks that bitch who complained as hard as I would.”

        1. It was only 84 when I was mowing, then dropped a couple of degrees when it clouded up; now that the sun is back, it’s up to 86 but there is a good, stiff breeze, which makes a big difference. My spinner was going round and round and round – I was so pleased!!!

EXCERPT: “In 1929, one of the founding doctors of the Mayo Clinic, Dr. J.R. Crewe, wrote an article called “The Milk Cure” about the thousands of patients he cured of all kinds of chronic and terminal illnesses by feeding them nothing but a gallon or two of milk a day.

While some of you may be thinking that sounds like a recipe for a severe case of lactose intolerance, consider that the milk he was speaking of is nothing like the kind you find in the grocery store today. Like most of the milk of that time, the milk Dr. Crewe was speaking of was the unpasteurized, non-homogenized, butterfat-rich milk of heritage-breed, pasture-raised cows.”

  25. From Brandon Straka: “The story of Couy Griffin needs to be heard by every American. Couy is the first American since 1869 to be removed from elected office for “insurrection”. Couy was a duly elected County Commissioner in New Mexico who received a misdemeanor trespassing charge for being OUTSIDE the Capitol on J6.

The left tried to have Couy recalled after J6- but his constituents VOTED to have him remain in office. The “protect our democracy” zealots didn’t like the way the voters voted, so decided to subvert democracy by using the courts to have Griffin labeled an “insurrectionist” and removed from office under the 14th Amendment. It worked.

Now, leftist activist lawyers are using the precedent set by the Couy Griffin case to have Donald Trump permanently barred from office. This story needs to be heard by everyone. The left will destroy every trusted institution in their craven, unhinged mission to stop free Americans from voting for Donald Trump under the guise of “protecting free and fair elections”.”
