Beautiful daffodil flowers adorn countless gardens around the world. Delicate and fragrant, they are a true embodiment of the fragile natural beauty. They require some care, which, of course, does not stop stubborn gardeners who want to decorate their home or summer cottage.
Interesting facts about daffodils
They got their name in honor of Narcissus, one of the characters of ancient Greek myths, who was so beautiful that he fell in love with his own reflection.
Botanically speaking, daffodils are herbs.
Daffodils are poisonous flowers, an attempt to eat any of their parts can lead to fatal poisoning.

Perfumers have been making fragrant essential oil from narcissus flowers for over 2,000 years.
In the language of flowers, the daffodil symbolizes selfishness and false hopes.
The ancient Greek goddess Persephone is usually depicted with these flowers.
In total, there are 113 types of daffodils in the world.
Daffodils grow wild only in Europe. The only exception is a single species that grows in Asia.
There is a surprisingly interesting place in Ukraine – the Valley of Narcissuses, a huge nature reserve overgrown with these plants. It is under the protection of UNESCO.

In the modern perfume industry, natural essential oil from daffodils is almost never found. It was almost completely replaced by synthetic.
The English call daffodils spring lilies.
Daffodils bloom for a surprisingly long time, if, of course, you take care of them properly. In this case, flowering can last up to 5-6 months.
The juices of this plant are able to kill the rest of the flora, therefore, before adding daffodils to a bouquet with other flowers, they are first cut off and kept separately for about a day in water so that the poison comes out.
Animals practically do not eat daffodils for the same reason – poison.

In ancient Rome, daffodils were given to commanders who returned victorious from the battlefield.
It is the daffodil that is the symbol of the county of Wales.
On New Year’s Eve in China, daffodils are the main decoration and symbol in general.
According to surveys, in the UK, daffodils are the favorite flower of most residents. Roses are in second place.

“The Accomplishments of President Trump — Part One – Government”

EXCERPT: “Good morning, friends! I hope you are all doing lovely as Spring rolls around and narratives continue to crumble! What is my purpose with this article? Well, we all know people in our lives, as well as pundits and every leftist imaginable who like to screech that President Trump accomplished very little, or nothing while in office.
I’m here to refute those claims with copious amounts of evidence proving otherwise. These accomplishments won’t be in any particular order. This first article will be highlighting his governmental-related accomplishments while in office. I will be providing you fine folks with 20 of my favorite examples of how President Trump upended DC’s status quo from the standpoint of government.
So, without any further delay, let’s have a look at some of President Trump’s accomplishments while in office. [5 out of 20 – links for each item in the article]
1. President Trump nominated, and confirmed, 3 Justices to the Supreme Court Of The United States: President Trump Nominates Amy Coney Barrett, Justice Kavanaugh Sworn In, Gorsuch Appointed To Supreme Court — Most Presidents never even get the opportunity to appoint one Supreme Court Justice, let alone three. It should be noted that all three of these Justices played a pivotal role in Roe v. Wade being overturned.
2. President Trump signs historic USMCA trade deal, which opened the job market and brought many jobs back to America instead of seeing those same jobs sent overseas: — This trade agreement was a major victory for President Trump, as it replaced the disastrous NAFTA agreement put in place by good ole’ Billy Jeff.
3. One of President Trump’s biggest priorities, and biggest accomplishments – His fight against Human Trafficking. Relatively early on in his Presidency, he made it a priority: — More human trafficking arrests and prosecutions took place under President Trump than the previous 3 Presidents combined. Let it sink in that Maxwell, Epstein, and Weinstein were all allowed to roam free until President Trump took office.
4. One of President Trump’s bigger accomplishments was the fact that he was able to nominate well over 170 Federal Judges. — We saw the importance of President Trump replacing so many Federal Judges during the Covid Plandemic. There were plenty of judges that did the right thing and overturned draconian mandates and executive orders.
5. Another under the radar accomplishment of President Trump’s was signing into law a bill protecting disability benefits for veterans who declare bankruptcy: — No President in my lifetime has done more to take care of and respect the United State Military the way President Trump did, and this is but one small example of that.”

Battle Lines Drawn: Jim Jordan Makes HUGE Announcement On President Trump as Chip Roy Endorses DeSantis
Note: This article may contain commentary reflecting the author’s opinion.
On Thursday, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) officially endorsed 45th President Donald Trump for the 2024 Republican nomination just a day after Jordan’s colleague in the House, Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX), endorsed Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) for the nomination.
Jordan has been a long supporter of President Trump, telling Donald Trump Jr. earlier this month that he’s “100 percent” in with the leading Republican candidate, as previously reported by the DC Enquirer.
“Well, two things. The way we ultimately get back, not get back, but the way we ultimately remedy it is to make sure President Trump gets elected president in 2024,” Jordan said at the time, adding, “I’ve been for him since day one.”

Ye, Ron, are you feeling lucky? Well, are ya?
If Ron is confident that he can beat @realDonaldTrump, why won’t he just simply resign from Governor to run for President? Why does he have to change the law to have a safety net?
His current “shadow campaign” violates all sorts of ethics laws. Just resign to run, Ron, like the… https://t.co/CMWByxGYsn

El Salvador President Mocks Globalist NGOs: “Where Were You When The Gangs Were Killing Our Children?”
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2023/03/el-salvador-president-mocks-globalist-ngos-where-were-you-when-the-gangs-were-killing-our-children/
… ‘ On Friday, a 40,000 person prison facility, known as the Center for the Confinement of Terrorism (CECOT) officially opened, and 2,000 gang members became new residents. These include members of the most violent gangs in the world, including MS-13.
Some “human rights” groups have raised concerns over the prison.
President Nayib Bukele responded with a blistering statement:
“Where did they get this sudden love for El Salvador? If up until recently they couldn’t find it on a map. All of a sudden, in these three years, they have grown concerned. Where were they before? Where were they when those parties in the back corner were recruiting children and forcing them to kill? They are right there, ARENA the FMLN, who recruited child soldiers and sent them to kill. We are giving them computers and laptops. They recruited them to kill. Where were they then?
El Salvador is a free, sovereign, and independent country. We make our own decisions. Let that be clear the world over. We want to have good relations with other countries. We want to be allies, friends, partners. But truly, friends allies, partners. Not a colony. Not a backyard or a front yard, as they are calling it now. Our doors are wide open but we will not allow them to come and tell us what to do.”

Coronal mass ejection: “Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs) are large expulsions of plasma and magnetic field from the Sun’s corona. They can eject billions of tons of coronal material and carry an embedded magnetic field (frozen in flux) that is stronger than the background solar wind interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) strength. CMEs travel outward from the Sun at speeds ranging from slower than 250 kilometers per second (km/s) to as fast as near 3000 km/s. The fastest Earth-directed CMEs can reach our planet in as little as 15-18 hours. Slower CMEs can take several days to arrive. They expand in size as they propagate away from the Sun and larger CMEs can reach a size comprising nearly a quarter of the space between Earth and the Sun by the time it reaches our planet.”
