Flamboyance!

Flamingos preferred food sources.

Flamingos are birds that eat plants, insects and small animals such as shrimp or worms to survive. They spend their days wading in the water for food and eating about 270 grams of food a day.

Flamingos are birds that have specialized diets consisting of mainly plant matter but also including some animal material. The flamingo diet is composed primarily of algae, invertebrates (such as shrimps), crustaceans (such as crabs) and various other animals found.

A flock of 50+ is called a “flamboyance.”

A flock of 50+ is called a “flamboyance.” The name, though strange, fits the feathered friend well. A large flock in excess of 500 birds are also called a “grand flamboyance.” In general, flamingos live solitary lives.

The only time they congregate is during mating season or when food sources dwindle. However, it’s not uncommon to see groups numbering less than 10 gather at one time.

Flamingos have a long lifespan.

Many people believe that flamingos are short-lived animals. In fact, the average lifespan of a flamingo is around 25 years in the wild and 75 years in captivity.

The earliest recorded captive flamingo lived to be 83 years old! Flamingos have many adaptations that allow them to live long lives.

Flamingos preferred habitats.

Flamingos are unique birds that live in many places around the world. They are commonly found in the wild in tropical and subtropical regions in Africa, Asia, North America and South America.

Flamingos are found near wetlands, ponds, lagoons, coasts, lakes or rivers that have salt water.

Flamingos can reach over 6 feet tall.

It is common knowledge that flamingos are tall birds. But how big is the tallest flamingo? The answer to this question may surprise you! There are many factors in determining the height of a flamingo, such as their species and age.

The Andean Flamingo has been recorded at over six feet tall while the Greater Rhea can reach five feet. They say that an average flamingo reaches about three feet in height and weighs roughly eight pounds.

Flamingos are born gray or white.

Flamingos are one of the most well-known birds in the world. However, many people do not know that flamingos are born gray or white and will eventually change to a pink color in adulthood.

The baby flamingo is often called a “chick.” The chick’s feathers are usually white, but they can also be light brown. In order to get their iconic pink hue, it takes about two years for them to mature into adults.

Flamingos can live in extreme weather conditions.

Flamingos are able to live in extreme conditions due to their low body temperature. They can survive in both frigid environments, such as Antarctica, and deserts because they have the ability to store large amounts of fat.

This is why flamingos can be found living near lakes and streams that provide water for them but also offer protection from predators like sharks.

Flamingos build their nest in mud.

Flamingos often build their nests in large colonies that can be found on lakes or rivers. The flamingo’s nest is a shallow hole made out of mud where they lay two eggs.

The nests are built close to the water because flamingo chicks need fresh water to drink when they hatch from their eggs.

There are 4 species of Flamingo that live in North America.

There are six different species of flamingo, but only four live in North America. The American flamingo is one of the four species that live in North America. The other three are Caribbean, Andean, and James’s flamingos.

Flamingos can drink saltwater.

Ever wondered how flamingos can drink saltwater and survive? Flamingos are born with a salt gland which helps to filter out excess salt from their bloodstreams.

They also have a special, high-density protein in their kidneys that keeps the sodium level of their blood low. These adaptations help them thrive in the salty waters of coastal habitats.

The salt gland is a specialized organ that produces the hormone aldosterone, which balances the amount of sodium and potassium in their blood. They use this to help them maintain proper electrolyte balance.

Most other animals have only one kind of salt gland for both purposes, but flamingos are born with two glands: One helps to filter out excess salt from their bloodstreams and the other is used when they drink fresh water or take an occasional dip in salty ocean water.

Flamingo tongues are used to break down protein.

Flamingo tongues are used to break down protein and give the flamingos their pink color. A group of researchers have recently discovered that flamingo tongues contain bacteria which break down protein, giving them their iconic pink color.

Flamingos eat a diet consisting mainly of crustaceans and insects, both of which are rich in proteins. Their tongue is specialized for breaking these proteins down into ammonia-rich uric acid crystals, giving them the pigment necessary for mating rituals and general identification.

The oldest Flamingo fossil is 50 million years old.

The oldest known flamingo fossil dates back to 50 million years ago, which means they have existed for a long time and have had many opportunities to evolve into their current form.

Fossils show that some of the adaptations that allow them to thrive today were present at an early stage, such as pink feathers or wings shaped like paddles, so they can wade through water easily.

Flamingos escape predators with a zigzag movement.

Flamingos are good at running away from predators. When they need to run, they do so in a zigzag pattern, which helps them escape the predator by confusing it and making it harder for the predator to chase after them.

The zigzagging movement is an energy-saving technique that allows them to get away from danger more easily than if they were running straight ahead.

Flamingos are monogamous.

Flamingos are monogamous, they only have one mate for life. However, it is not uncommon to see a Flamingo with two mates. This may be because the other mate died or was unable to find food and has been abandoned by their partner.

The partner who has been left behind will wait on the shoreline and watch as their lover flies off with another individual in search of food.

Flamingos have an incredible memory.

Flamingos are highly intelligent birds. They have an incredible memory, and can recognize the humans and other animals they encounter at any given location on subsequent visits, even if it has been weeks or months since their last visit.

In a study published in Animal Behavior Society’s journal Animal Cognition this week, researchers found that wild Chilean flamingos had long-term memories of people from whom they received food.

There are six different species of flamingo.

There are six different species of flamingo: Greater flamingo, Lesser flamingo, Andean flamingo, James’s flamingo, Chilean flamingo and American flamingo.

Flamingos are closely related to grebes and penguins.

Flamingos are often thought to be related to pelicans and storks, but flamingos are actually closely related to grebes and penguins. Many people think that flamingos are close relatives of pelicans or storks because they share similar physical features.

Flamingos, however, are closely related to grebes and penguins because of their biological classification. They all belong in the order called Charadriiformes which includes other water birds.

Flamingos can eat thousands of tiny shrimp per day!

Flamingos are excellent at catching small crustaceans called shrimps. They use their beaks to scoop up the shrimp in water and then swallow them whole! Some flamingos can eat thousands of tiny shrimp per day!

The flamingo’s head is flexible enough to turn upside down, so it can feed from the bottom of a pool of water.

Flamingo feathers regulate their body temperature.

A new study has revealed that a flamingo’s feathers are not just for show. Recent research has shown that the feathers help the birds maintain their body temperature by keeping them cool in hot climates and warm in cold ones.

Furthermore, they protect the bird from harmful ultraviolet rays and offer a layer of insulation against extreme temperatures.

Flamingos hold their breath when feeding.

Flamingos also have a very unusual way of feeding; they hold their breath while eating. A recent study has found that flamingos are able to remain underwater without breathing because they contain up to ten times more oxygen in their blood than most other animals, allowing them to go longer periods without taking a breath. This ability is due in part to specialized hemoglobin.

Flamingos spend most of the day in cleaning their feathers.

Flamingos spend most of the day in cleaning their feathers. They use a combination of shaking, wiping and licking to clean their feathers. Many people might be surprised that flamingos spend so much time on grooming themselves, but they are just as susceptible to parasites and disease as other animals are.

Flamingos have a keen sense of self-awareness which is important for mating rituals like the “flamingo dance” because it can make them look more attractive to mates.

Flamingos rest on one leg.

When a flamingo rests, it stands on one leg with its head drooped down and eyes closed. This helps conserve body heat in cold climates as well as saves energy by using less muscle power to keep balanced. Flamingos are also able to lower their heart rate and metabolic rate while standing up on one leg.

Baby flamingos have straight bills.

Baby flamingos have straight bills, but it becomes curved later on. The process of getting a curved bill starts when they are about two weeks old. The top part of the baby’s beak will start to grow over the bottom part.

Flamingos’ wingspan is one of the largest.

Flamingos’ wingspan ranges from 3 to 6 feet. This makes them the second-largest bird in terms of wing span, behind only pelicans. This variation in size is due to the differences in climate, food supply and parasites they are exposed to as chicks.

  1. Well, this is interesting!!! Hmmm….get busy, Tucker!!! Bear in mind this is Axios so ignore their stupid comments!

“Exclusive: McCarthy gives Tucker Carlson access to trove of Jan. 6 riot tape”
Mike Allen, author of Axios AM

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has given Fox News’ Tucker Carlson exclusive access to 41,000 hours of Capitol surveillance footage from the Jan. 6 riot, McCarthy sources tell me. Carlson TV producers were on Capitol Hill last week to begin digging through the trove, which includes multiple camera angles from all over Capitol grounds. Excerpts will begin airing in the coming weeks.

Why it matters: Carlson has repeatedly questioned official accounts of 1/6, downplaying the insurrection as “vandalism.”

Now his shows — “Tucker Carlson Tonight” on Fox News, and “Tucker Carlson Today” and “Tucker Carlson Originals” on the streaming service Fox Nation — have a massive trove of raw material.
Carlson told me: “[T]here was never any legitimate reason for this footage to remain secret. If there was ever a question that’s in the public’s interest to know, it’s what actually happened on January 6. By definition, this video will reveal it. It’s impossible for me to understand why any honest person would be bothered by that.”

Reality check: The Jan. 6 committee played numerous excerpts of the footage at last year’s captivating hearings. (See the committee’s archive.)

Between the lines: The process with Carlson started in early February, according to a communication between the show and a McCarthy representative that I was shown.

The archive was previously reported to be 14,000 hours. I’m told it’s now much more.

Flashback: McCarthy told reporters in Statuary Hall last month that he thinks “the American public should actually see all [that] happened instead of a report that’s written [on] a political basis.” (Video, beginning 10:50)

Pushing for the release of the footage, Carlson argued on his show last month that Washington has “a regime of secrecy and deceit.” Carlson last year called the attack an “outbreak of mob violence, a forgettably minor outbreak by recent standards.”

Americans woke up on Monday morning to the news of a surprise visit to Ukraine, by the President of the United States.

Press outlets swooned as Joe Biden was seen walking around the streets of Kyiv with Volodymyr Zelensky, the latter donning his signature olive drab. There were even air raid sirens blaring in the background to really make the scene pop.

Presidents Biden and Zelenskyy ignore air raid sirens and go for a stroll in central Kyivpic.twitter.com/R8vZQG6UBA

    — Business Ukraine mag (@Biz_Ukraine_Mag) February 20, 2023

I’m sort of in the middle on Ukraine aid, believing that some investment in diminishing Russia’s military by proxy is a net positive (but I want less overall and a lot more accountability). What I’m affirmatively against, though, is being gaslit, and this entire visit is pure gaslighting.

There is no Secret Service protocol that allows the president to be left strolling out in the open during an actual air raid. Those sirens were clearly turned on with no actual threat in the area in order to make Biden look tough and courageous. The fact that Zelensky would participate in such a stunt, effectively interfering in US politics, is disappointing. Never mind that all that money he’s getting isn’t coming from Biden. It’s coming from the US Congress via the taxpayers who remain an afterthought in all this pomp and circumstance.

Besides, while mainstream media outlets gladly took the bait, praising Biden as “brave” for surviving a supposed air raid, I’m not so sure the optics of this do either Biden or Ukraine any favors. There is actually a war going on in the Eastern portions of Ukraine, but the seriousness of that is undermined by having Biden and Zelensky take a sightseeing tour. It’s hard to simultaneously make the case that Ukraine is on the brink of destruction while a US president walks around town as if nothing is going on. Ironically, I actually think this trip by Biden hurts Zelensky’s cause because it feeds domestic divisions back in the United States.

That leads me to the second controversy that has sprouted from this, which is that Biden somehow had time to fly to Ukraine but hasn’t been able to travel 290 miles to visit East Palestine, OH, which is currently in the midst of a major ecological disaster. Again, perception matters, and the perception this puts off is that the president is far more concerned about rebuilding Ukraine than he is about helping American citizens who have found themselves with poisoned groundwater. And to be sure, Biden has made plenty of trips inside the US in the past for far less nationally relevant issues. In this case, it sure seems like he just doesn’t care about Americans in red states.

With that said, does anyone really think performances like this are scaring our adversaries?

Biden phones in his conversational speech with Zelensky for the press by reading his remarks from a cue card. pic.twitter.com/Jr51Rw46P7

These kinds of welcoming sit-downs are supposed to be full of off-the-cuff niceties, and typically, they don’t involve notes. Biden has to read from a cue card the entire time, though, which again underscores how scripted this entire thing is. Those predisposed to love this stuff are going to love it (and the headlines are already blaring with how amazing this trip is), but I think a lot of Americans see it and feel left behind.

  3. “Dangerous mRNA Vaccine Contaminants Were Just Discovered — A Discussion on Production Quality Control, Bacterial Evolution, Spike Proteins and Antibiotics”

    A Midwestern Doctor

EXCERPT: “The current mission of this Substack has been to expose fraud on the vaccine manufacturer’s part. I believe this is the most persuasive point for sinking the entire COVID-19 vaccine program, as it gives those who blindly supported the narrative a way to save face if they change their point of view on the vaccines (“it’s not my fault, Pfizer lied to me”), and because demonstrated fraud is the most likely thing to compel governments to act against the manufacturers.

If you consider the situation with Operation Warp Speed—using an untested technology to design a vaccine for an extraordinarily difficult pathogen, and produce that vaccine in a fraction of the time it takes to make a normal vaccine—it should be obvious that there was no reasonable way to accomplish those goals. Instead, the best that could be expected from this haphazard scheme would be taking lots of shortcuts on safety thereby resulting in an incomplete vaccine to be thrust hastily onto the market, hoping there would not be too many issues subsequently cropping up.

Since the manufacturer isn’t supposed to cut corners during the pharmaceutical development process, the only option was to cover it up (also known as fraud). Interestingly, when I completed my review of what was seen by each whistleblower at Pfizer, I learned that the company has a long and documented history of sweeping things under the rug and altering or deleting incriminating documents.

With the COVID-19 vaccines, the most likely points of fraud were:

•Producing preclinical data (e.g., animal studies) that claimed that the vaccines were safe and effective.

•Altering the clinical trials to erroneously claim the vaccines were safe.

•Altering the clinical trials to erroneously claim the vaccines were effective.

•Failing to producing the claimed vaccine product (there were quite a few almost insurmountable production challenges for doing this).

In a recent article, I reviewed how this issue was systemic throughout the clinical trials (e.g., those severely injured by the vaccine were aggressively gaslighted by the study coordinators so that their adverse events could be dismissed from the final results). Similarly, I also recently reviewed some of the other indications that Pfizer submitted fraudulent data to regulators on the production quality of their final vaccine product.

Since the time that article was written, more signs have come out confirming that Pfizer (and likely the other manufacturers) are not accurately reporting what is contained in their vaccine. One of the most recent discoveries is particularly convincing because it helps to explain some of the observations I and colleagues have seen in our vaccinated patients.”

  5. “There Must Be Investigations”
BY DANIEL NUCCIO FEBRUARY 16, 2023 POLICY, PUBLIC HEALTH 3 MINUTE READ

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “Eight leading critics of the United States’ COVID-19 response have called for an investigation of the many failures of policy architects and key decision makers — at institutions ranging from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Food and Drug Administration to universities and hospitals — over their repeated mishandling of the pandemic.

Given the immense harm inflicted on our society by the follies of a ruling class and their expert advisers who never failed to make a wrong decision when presented with the opportunity, as well as the fact that lives are still being destroyed by their lingering policies , we can only hope this blueprint does not go ignored.

Dubbing themselves the “Norfolk Group,” the association of scholars includes such prominent names as Stanford epidemiologist Jay Bhattacharya, Harvard epidemiologist Martin Kulldorff, UCSF physician Tracy Beth Høeg, Johns Hopkins University surgeon Marty Makary, and Indiana University School of Medicine immunologist Steven Templeton. According to the Norfolk Group’s website, although initially organized by Brownstone Institute in May 2022, the eight members of the group have since worked free from outside influence to draft the 80-page document they published earlier this year, “Questions for a COVID-19 Commission.”

Presented as a series of summaries and questions pertaining to key elements of U.S. COVID policy, the document, in effect, lays out a thorough indictment of the consistent incompetence of our ruling class while also raising concerns over the possible influence on policy by special interests such as teachers unions and drug companies.

Regarding natural immunity , the authors ask, “Why did the CDC downplay infection-acquired immunity, despite robust evidence for it?”

In respect to school closures, they ask, “Why were schools and universities closed despite early evidence about the enormous age-gradient in COVID-19 mortality … and early evidence that school closures would cause enormous collateral damage to the education and mental health of children and young adults?”

On that matter, they also wonder, “Why did the CDC incorporate policy language proposed by leaders of teachers unions on the scientific and public health aspects of school reopening without soliciting expertise of outside scientists in public health, infectious diseases, or other related fields?”

When discussing lockdowns , they inquire, “Why was so much influence on public health policy accorded to Drs. [Francis] Collins and [Anthony] Fauci? They control the largest source of infectious disease research funding in the world. How many infectious disease scientists, who should have been strong voices during the pandemic, kept quiet for fear of losing the research funding on which their livelihood depends?”

In their section on epidemiologic modeling , they demand, “Why did world leaders overly rely on models that made unverified assumptions about the pandemic’s trajectory rather than trying to verify these assumptions and their implications?”

When addressing COVID-19 vaccines, they raise questions such as, “Why did many organizations continue with mandates through summer and fall of 2021, despite data demonstrating both waning efficacy of symptomatic infection and reduced long term ability to curb viral spread?”

Regarding masks, they state, “Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, the evidence that masks did little if anything to stop the spread of respiratory viruses was uncontroversial,” before summarizing a few studies demonstrating this and asking the obvious: “[W]hy did public health officials and agencies promote the idea that masks would be effective against SARS-CoV2?”

In its entirety, the Norfolk Group’s “Questions for a COVID-19 Commission” serves as a blueprint for the kind of investigation our country needs. Just don’t expect the Biden administration to do anything about it.”

  6. Time to Reclaim the Seventh Amendment
BY WILLIAM SPRUANCE FEBRUARY 16, 2023 LAW, VACCINES 7 MINUTE READ

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “Should the government be allowed to require citizens to receive a medical product if the product’s manufacturer is shielded from legal liability? That is the question in front of multiple state legislatures.

In North Dakota, HB 1406 proposes preventing state agencies from requiring vaccines “unless the manufacturer of the medical product is liable for any death or serious injury caused by the medical product.” The West Virginia legislature is considering a similar bill. In “How Government Insulated Big Pharma from Liability,” I discuss how the federal government effectively sold the Seventh Amendment right to a jury trial to the largest lobbying force in the country, Big Pharma.

Citizens cannot sue vaccine manufacturers for harms resulting from the Covid shots because of HHS Secretary Alex Azar’s invocation of the PREP Act in February 2020. This transferred power from the citizenry to the nation’s ruling class and exchanged a constitutional right for a corporate liability shield. Now, some state legislators are seeking to prohibit mandatory medical treatment unless the manufacturer of the product can be held liable for injuries. These lawmakers have an opportunity to promote the legal rights of their citizens and to restore a primary purpose of the Seventh Amendment.

The Opposition — Understandably, pharmaceutical companies oppose these measures. Their most profitable products received a federal liability shield, resulting in record profits. In 2022, Pfizer’s annual revenue reached $100 billion; the company’s Covid products – including vaccines and Paxlovid – accounted for $57 billion of that income. Federal purchases of Pfizer and Moderna’s mRNA Covid vaccines have totalled more than $25 billion. The government paid Moderna $2.5 billion of taxpayer funds to develop the vaccine, and President Biden called on local leaders to use public money to bribe citizens to get the shots.

These pharmaceutical companies represent the largest lobbying force in the country. From 2020 to 2022, the pharmaceutical and health products industry spent $1 billion on lobbying – more than the combined spending of the oil, gas, alcohol, gambling, farming, and defense industries during that time frame.

But it’s not just Big Pharma CFOs and shareholders that oppose bills like HB 1406 in North Dakota. Over 25 people testified in support of HB 1406, compared to just 4 in opposition (one of whom opposed the bill because she opposes mandates regardless of liability status). Kylie Hall, Operations Director of the North Dakota State University Department Public Health Center for Immunization Research and Education, was one of the three others who testified against the bill. Hall represents that failed ideology that has dominated our draconian Covid responses for three years.

She has been very public in her support for Covid vaccinations. In February 2021, she told NBC News, “Vaccinating against Covid-19 is the only way out of this pandemic.” She encouraged North Dakotans to rush to receive the products rather than exercise patience and wait to receive the vaccine best suited for their health needs. “The best covid vaccine to get is the first one that’s available to you and that is because it will prevent covid and severe disease now,” Hall said. “People should not wait until their preferred product comes to market.”

Her vaccination demands extended to campus. In April 2021, she discussed the need to get students at NDSU vaccinated against Covid. She said the pharmaceutical products were necessary to “get back to normal.” Hall worked for two years to have as many North Dakotans take the Covid vaccines as possible regardless of age, medical history, or natural immunity. During that time period, Big Pharma enjoyed windfalls from the mandated products without the accountability of legal liability.

Hall told the North Dakota legislature that she opposes HB 1406 because of the “rigorous processes behind vaccine development and safety monitoring in this country and the incredibly high standards that vaccines are held to.” According to Hall, these factors make the bill “unnecessary.” Like her history of Covid policy proposals, Hall’s narrative is both illogical and false. First, if the profitable vaccines are as safe as she promises, then the companies won’t have to worry about lawsuits from adverse reactions.

Second, the mRNA products were not held to “incredibly high standards.”

Operation Warp Speed turned our Covid vaccination effort into a lucrative military operation. The Department of Defense helped develop the technology, manufacture the products, distribute the doses, and administer the shots. Meanwhile, taxpayers bankrolled the program and the federal government’s billion dollar propaganda efforts.

As Philip Altman writes, this military operation bypassed traditional regulatory safeguards. “In the panic to develop the COVID-19 vaccines, certain critical research and development procedures were omitted, bypassed, curtailed, or not done in a logical sequential manner, or to established laboratory or manufacturing standards.” While traditional development and approval of vaccines takes approximately 10 years, the Covid shots came to market in under one year under Operation Warp Speed.

Further, the vaccines have not functioned as promised, and the potential health ramifications may be severe. For example, we now know that vaccines do not prevent infection, do not prevent transmission, and do not prevent death, all of which government officials touted at various points in their propaganda campaigns. Meanwhile, the vaccines cross the blood-brain barrier, their lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) enter into liver cells and convert to DNA, and their synthetic mRNA can last for two months in the body, all of which officials denied.

After years of censorship and manipulation, the question before North Dakota and West Virginia remains simple: should the State be allowed to mandate these products if the companies cannot be held liable for their lucrative inventions? After three years of misleading the American public on Covid policy, advocates like Hall are working to continue the subversion of citizens’ right to demand accountability from the country’s most powerful commercial interests

An Opportunity to Restore the Seventh Amendment — As I explain in my previous article, the Seventh Amendment’s right to a jury trial was designed to protect common citizens against commercial powers that would otherwise corrupt the judicial system for their own benefit. From Sir William Blackstone to the Declaration of Independence to Anti-Federalist pamphleteers, Anglo-American legal tradition understood the role of the jury system in establishing justice and accountability.

Centuries later, we have returned to a system that denies citizens the right to jury trials for the benefit of commercial interests. This has coincided with a revolving door between the pharmaceutical industry and the top levels of the US government. Alex Azar, President Trump’s Health and Human Services Secretary responsible for providing liability immunity for Covid vaccine manufacturers, previously served as president of Eli Lilly’s US division.

Scott Gottlieb resigned as President Trump’s Commissioner of the FDA to join the board of Pfizer. There, he works with Big Tech to censor critics and advocate for lockdowns. White House Counselor Steve Richetti, one of President Biden’s “most loyal advisers” according to the New York Times, worked as a lobbyist for Novartis, Eli Lilly, and Pfizer for twenty years. In 2018, Kaiser Health News found “Nearly 340 former congressional staffers now work for pharmaceutical companies or their lobbying firms.”

Now, states have the opportunity to reestablish the principles underlying the Seventh Amendment. In West Virginia, HB 2936 aims to “prohibit mandatory medical treatments unless the manufacturer of the product is liable.” This can help prevent the country’s most influential companies from profiting without the accountability of jury trials and can start to redress the corporate-enriching distortion of our legal system.

Many Republican leaders have publicized their opposition to mandates and demanded accountability for pharmaceutical companies. Now, the GOP has the opportunity to affirm its commitment to the justice of the Seventh Amendment and to demand liability for Big Pharma’s most lucrative products.

In West Virginia, Republicans outnumber Democrats 88 to 12 in the House and 31 to 3 in the State Senate. The numbers are similar in North Dakota, where there are 82 Republicans and 12 Democrats in the State House and 43 Republicans and 4 Democrats in the State Senate. If Republican officials in these states wanted to pass these measures, they would have no trouble. Yet, the bills have yet to make progress.

North Dakota’s House Human Services Committee recommended against passing HB 1406 by a vote of 9 to 4. West Virginia’s HB 2936 has not left committee. If Republican legislators don’t take action, their citizens will continue to lose their legal rights to pharmaceutical companies and bureaucrats whose opinions have repeatedly been disproven and discredited.”

  7. “Inside an Australian Quarantine Camp:
BY BOBBIE ANNE FLOWER COX FEBRUARY 12, 2023 POLICY 8 MINUTE READ

EXCERPT: “After I won my landmark “quarantine camp” lawsuit against Governor Hochul and her Department of Health a few months ago, people from around the globe started reaching out to me. Some wanted to simply send congratulations on a job well done, and thank me for giving them hope that this tyranny that somehow magically took hold contemporaneously in countries around the world, could be defeated.

But many others wanted more than that. They wanted actual help. They wanted to know how they could fight back against the intense tyranny in their countries. So, I started doing interviews and presentations to groups based in the UK, South Africa, Canada, and Australia. I shared with them my legal theory behind my case, the separation of powers argument, and all about my courageous plaintiffs (Senator George Borrello, Assemblyman Chris Tague, Assemblyman [now Congressman] Mike Lawler, and a citizens’ group called Uniting NYS).
    —————–
I realized that we had not only stopped this complete totalitarianism from taking place in my home state, but we had likely stopped it from spreading across the nation to the point where quarantine camps would become the “new norm” as a way to (supposedly) stop the spread of a disease – or to punish someone the government didn’t like. (Remember, the languange in the reg we got struck down said the government did NOT have to prove you actually had a disease)! For more details on the reg and our lawsuit, go to http://www.UnitingNYS.com/lawsuit

Through my connection with Brownstone Institute, I was introduced to a wonderful and brave Australian who had spent two weeks in a quarantine camp in northern Australia. Let’s refer to her as “Jane.” I share with you now her first-hand account that she shared with me of what happened and what it was like, replete with photographs from inside the camp.

At the time Jane was in the camp, Dan Andrews was (and still is) the Premier in Victoria in Australia. The country had very strict COVID-19 policies, which, as Jane points out, were constantly changing. Literally, the government would change a policy whilst people were flying mid-air, and upon landing at their destination, they’d be arrested because they now suddenly were in violation of a new COVID policy just issued!

The rule at the time was that no Australian was allowed to leave their state, unless you had a “legitimate reason” to do so, and in order to actually leave, you had to first quarantine for 2 weeks. Not in your home. No, don’t be silly! You had to quarantine in a facility that was run by the government. Some people got to choose which facility, others did not. There was a large camp in the Northern Territory near Darwin, and then there were many quarantine hotels scattered throughout the country.

Reportedly, the quarantine hotels were a total nightmare where you were shut into a room for 2 weeks, no exiting your room, no going outdoors allowed, and some rooms didn’t even have windows! But living in Melbourne, a large city in southest Australia, was just as bad. The government would only let you out of your home for ONE HOUR/day, with a mask on, and you couldn’t stray more than 5 kilometers from your house. You not only couldn’t leave the city, you couldn’t leave the country!

Forget having anyone visit – no guests were allowed in your home. The government set up a hotline so that Australians could call and report any of their neighbors who were disobeying the COVID mandates. The police would often check on the citizens to see if they were complying. They’d phone you, and if you didn’t respond within 15 minutes, they’d come knock on your door! The camp where Jane was quarantined seemed almost like a holiday, comparatively speaking. Well, not really.

So how it worked was that, if you had family or friends or business in another state, you had to first go to a government facility to quarantine for 2 weeks. Again, only if you had what the government deemed to be a legitimate reason. Jane needed to leave Melbourne, so she packed up her bags, booked an absurdly expensive flight to the Northern Territory, and off she went to the quarantine camp in Darwin for 2 weeks. Did she go “voluntarily”, of her own free will? That’s a very fine line of semantics there folks. Yes, she herself booked her flight and packed her bags to go, but it was only because the government told her that was the only way she could leave Melbourne. I don’t consider that free will. I hope you share my view.

    The quarantine camp:
The camp had rows of trailer-like buildings that housed the inmates – I mean the there-of-their-own-free-will Australians. Jane was put into a unit that had a bedroom and a bathroom. Each unit had a small front stoop, sort of like a porch (see photo below). You were allowed to sit outside and talk to a neighbor, through a face mask of course, if you could stand the sweltering heat. Police were constantly patroling the camp, walking past the trailers, ensuring everyone was complying with the “social distancing” requirements and the forced masking, etc.

You weren’t allowed to do anything other than sit on your front stoop, or walk “laps” through the camp… as long as you stayed the proper distance from others, wore your mask, and didn’t try to do anything else. There was a swimming pool, but you were only allowed a dip in the pool twice during your 2-week stint there, and that was only if you were going to do some laps… no games allowed!

The food was terrible. No alcohol allowed. Cell phones and internet were allowed, at least when Jane was there. She said one woman tried to escape, but she was caught and then put into solitary confinement.

Now, sit down for this next part. The government restricted you from leaving your town, your state, your country, forced you into quarantine hotels or a camp if you were able to convince them that you had a real reason to cross a state border, treated you like a criminal, and get this – YOU had to pay for it!! And it was not cheap. The price tag was $2,500 for an individual, $5,000 for a family at the camp. The “hotels” apparently were more costly at $3,000 for the 2 weeks.

There were more details that Jane shared with me, but I cannot cover all here. At this point, I’m going to close out this story with a part of my conversation with Jane that really struck me. She could tell that I was flabbergasted by the things she was telling me. She could hear it in my voice, but also in the long pauses in between my questions after she would answer the litany of inquiries I was throwing at her.

My underlying astonishment was obvious… “How could your government do these things to its people?!” Her response was immediate and direct, “We don’t have your Second Amendment. If we had, our government never would have treated us this way.”

Let that sink in for a minute.”

  8. President Biden Arrives In Kyiv For His Performance Review
    POLITICS · Feb 20, 2023 · BabylonBee.com

“KYIV — Multiple insider sources reported a hushed nervousness was felt throughout President Joe Biden’s entire entourage today as he arrived in Kyiv, Ukraine for his annual performance review with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

“He’s really hoping this meeting goes well,” said one White House insider. “The President has been working really hard over the past year to do a good job for his superiors, and he’s wanting it to pay off for him in this performance review. His commitment to working for Ukraine — sending all the weapons, military equipment, and taxpayer dollars — really speaks for itself.”

President Biden seemed oblivious to the criticism his trip was receiving due to him flying to Kyiv rather than visiting the ecologically ravaged community of East Palestine, Ohio. “We understand there are people who are upset about the President not visiting East Palestine,” said White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, “But we saw pictures of that nasty black cloud of smoke. Are you kidding?! The President can’t breathe that stuff! He’d be safer in a war zone, quite frankly.”

If the performance review goes well, it’s reported that President Biden is hoping it will result in a bump in his pay, with sources saying Biden wants a raise of at least “ten percent for the Big Guy.”

At publishing time, Biden was telling his advisors that once his meeting in Kyiv was finished, he wants Air Force One to fly to the Middle East since he’s been hearing something has been going on in “Eastern Palestine or something.”

  9. “Don Lemon Returns To Work, Disgusted To Find Female Co-hosts Even Older Than They Were Last Week”
    CELEBS · Feb 20, 2023 · BabylonBee.com

NEW YORK, NY — On Monday morning, Don Lemon went to host his morning show again after CNN placed him on leave for saying Nikki Haley, 51, was “past her prime” and making his co-hosts visibly uncomfortable. Reports confirm he stormed back off the set in disgust after discovering female co-hosts were even older than they were last week.

“It was bad enough I had to look at you baggy old tarts last week – and I come in today to find that this week you’re even further over the hill! I literally can’t even!” Lemon roared at his co-hosts while tearing off his lapel mic and mopping his brow under the hot lights before storming back off the set.

    “It’s sickening!”

Reports confirm that producers and staffers attempted to intercept Lemon (56), but say he was “smashing through the studio like a rhino” and interrupting their feeble attempts at interference. “Mr. Lemon, we understa – yes – yes – I know sir, they are awful to look at – yes sir, we will ‘Google it’ – yes, we’re sorry you had to see these old women – Mr. Lemon, we can ensure it doesn’t happen again.”

At publishing time, eyewitnesses say Don Lemon had collapsed in a heap in the parking lot when he was asked for his staff badge by a 54-year-old female parking attendant.

  10. Well Being: Berberine
Another supplement with an amazing healing profile

    Robert W Malone MD, MS

EXCERPT: “While at the Brownstone Institute retreat near Hartford, CT this weekend, I heard Dr. Paul Marik speak on repurposed drugs. Of course, this has been one of my passions since the Ebola outbreak of 2014, with the realization that a safe and effective vaccine could not be developed fast enough for any newly emergent highly infectious disease or infectious bio-threat event. Unfortunately, there is no interest in using repurposed drugs by our government or pharma for other disease indications such as cancer. This is despite the fact that computerized modeling, which is very sophisticated, suggests that there are many drugs for which the already licensed drug’s safety profile is well known, that would work well for varying types of cancers. Again, no profit motive, no interest. No research dollars or support. A dead end.

Likewise, in the US, “nutraceuticals” are largely unregulated, as they exist in the same category as dietary supplements and food additives by the FDA. There is no way for a pharma company to make huge amounts of profits from repurposed drugs unless they can figure out a way to patent the product (formulations, co-administration with other agents, etc.). Even then, it can be very difficult and carries a lot of financial risk – in getting it through the patenting process (which is more difficult).

I spent a year discovering repurposed drugs for Zika in 2015-2016. This included using high-throughput screening to discover already licensed drugs and related compounds with strong antiviral properties (alone or in combination). Finally, we tested one product in a live animal model. This culminated in a lot of great in-vitro and in-vivo data . The results showed that ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine were both excellent antivirals against Zika. Unfortunately, agencies within the US Government and private corporations have no interest in drug compounds that do not have a huge potential to make money. I could not get funding for any of this research (the DoD did supply a few resources, although not much, and NIH was down-right passive aggressive to the idea of testing repurposed drugs). But silly me, I didn’t connect the dots that they had no interest in researching anything that was not driven by big pharma. Personally, I just could not imagine that the US government was that corrupt. I just couldn’t understand why they didn’t have an active interest in pursuing repurposed drugs. Jill and I funded the research out of pocket, and it just about bankrupted us. My conclusion at the time was that I will never do this again. I write all this, because there is a pattern here. Then Zika passed into oblivion. The data got put on the shelf and time went by.

In writing this essay, I came across this old image of an invention disclosure I wrote in a notebook in 2016.

Hydroxychloroquine as an anti-viral, who knew? Moving on.”

“Discover to start tracking gun buyers–Other payment processors are expected to follow.”
    By Ken Macon
    Posted 1:37 pm

ENTIRE ARTICLE @ ReclaimTheNet: “Credit card provider Discover to will start tracking purchases at gun retailers in April, which will make it the first company to do so. Last September, the International Organization for Standardization, which determines payment cards’ merchant categories, approved a dedicated code for gun retailers in an attempt to help law enforcement solve gun-related crimes.

Proponents of the initiative, mainly left-wing politicians and gun control activists, hope it will help in the investigation of gun violence crimes in the US. Discover said that the new code will be included in its next policy update scheduled for April. “We remain focused on continuing to protect and support lawful purchases on our network while protecting the privacy of cardholders,” Discover told Reuters.

Its competitors, Visa, American Express, and Mastercard are yet to comply with the new ISO code. ISO said the new code will be available by the end of this month. “The decision to use the new merchant category code is eventually left up to the users in the industry,” an ISO spokesperson said.

In the US payment cards market, Discover has a 2% share, Mastercard has 26%, American Express 11%, and leader Visa has 61%.”

  14. The Narcissism Of Woke Totalitarianism — “Anyone who thinks the terrifying trend of posthumous censure will end with Roald Dahl is dreaming”

    Michael Shellenberger

EXCERPT: “The publisher of the late British children’s author, Roald Dahl, has changed hundreds of words and passages in his books to make them politically correct. “Language related to weight, mental health, violence, gender, and race has been cut and rewritten,” reported The Telegraph, whose journalists compared 10 of Dahl’s books from 2022 to their 2001 versions. “Remember the Cloud-Men in James and the Giant Peach? They are now the Cloud-People. The Small Foxes in Fantastic Mr. Fox are now female. In Matilda, a mention of Rudyard Kipling has been cut, and Jane Austen added.”

The racially sensitive censors even removed the word “black” as a descriptor of inanimate objects. “In Fantastic Mr. Fox, a description of tractors, saying that ‘the machines were both black,’ has been cut. In the new Dahl world, it seems, neither machines nor animals can be described with a colour.”

The censorship by Puffin, which Penguin Publishing Group owns, drew a sharply critical response from journalists and authors. “Roald Dahl was no angel,” tweeted Salman Rushdie, “but this is absurd censorship. Puffin Books and the Dahl estate should be ashamed.” Seethed Brendan O’Neill in The Spectator, “If you weren’t worried about cancel culture before, surely this egregious assault on some of the best-known children’s books of the modern era, this posthumous purging of an author’s output, will change your mind.”

Many on Twitter posted a quote from George Orwell’s 1984, his famous novel about a future totalitarian dystopia. “Every record has been destroyed or falsified,” the novel’s main character says, “every book has been rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street and building has been renamed, every date has been altered.”

Totalitarianism is a strong word for the censorship of children’s books. The changing of “The old hag” to “the old crow,” “Chambermaid” to “cleaner,” and “You must be mad, woman!” to “You must be out of your mind!” in some kiddie books is hardly on par with the censorship of totalitarian regimes. And Dahl himself made his books less offensive, re-writing the Oompa-Loompa characters in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory so they were no longer African.

But Dahl would have been horrified by the hundreds of changes made by Puffin. “His relationships with his editors included marked fractiousness on Dahl’s part,” said his biographer. “He resisted interference.” Re-writing an author’s books without his consent, whether for legal reasons or because he is dead, violates the trust between authors and publishers everywhere. That such censorship is coming from within media, educational, and research institutions, in addition to governmental ones, doesn’t make it less dangerous, and may make it more so.”
