Hershey’s Chocolate World
You haven’t been to Hershey until you’ve taken the free Hershey’s Chocolate Tour. The tour − an indoor ride in a Hershey’s Kiss-shaped car − allows visitors to understand how Hershey’s chocolate is made and enjoy a free chocolate bar at the end. Better still is the marketplace at Hershey’s Chocolate World, where you can purchase Hershey’s candy (including treats you don’t typically find at your local food store); candy-themed souvenirs; and signature smoothies, milkshakes and pastries. You can also make a personalized treat at the Create Your Own Candy Bar station, solve a sweet mystery in the 4D Chocolate Movie and enjoy wine and chocolate or beer and chocolate pairings seasonally.
Hersheypark
Hersheypark features 15 roller coasters (and counting) − including Laff Trakk, the first indoor, spinning glow coaster in the U.S. The amusement park also features an outdoor water park and kiddie rides, plus rides and attractions the whole family can enjoy together. When it’s time for a break, order one of the park’s famous King Sized Shakes, available at Simply Chocolate. The one-of-a-kind amusement park is especially magical at Christmas, when the park hosts Hershey Sweet Lights, a 2-mile, illuminated drive-through tour, and Christmas Candylane, where guests can sip hot cocoa and meet Santa and his reindeer.
The Hotel Hershey

The Hotel Hershey is an especially popular destination for romantic escapes and girls getaways. Part of the Historic Hotels of America, the regal resort offers indoor and outdoor swimming pools, golf, tennis, fitness facilities, a kids club, five restaurants and a spa. Guests can choose to stay in beautifully appointed guest rooms, suites or cottages, plus the hotel offers perks like complimentary admission to Hershey Gardens and The Hershey Story’s Museum Experience. Reviewers say the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, and that the food is great.
Hersheypark Stadium

When planning your summertime visit to Hershey, be sure to check the schedule at Hersheypark Stadium where big-name concerts are typically hosted from June through September. The outdoor venue offers food and beverage concessions and − the ultimate splurge − VIP Sky Suites. Hersheypark Stadium has hosted everyone from Dead & Company to the Jonas Brothers. Reviewers say the bathrooms are tiny, but clean and widely available.
ZooAmerica

One of the first attractions to open in Hershey, ZooAmerica was established in 1910. More than a century later, the zoo has expanded to house a couple hundred animals across a variety of species and support several wildlife and environmental conservation efforts. For an extra-special experience, book a behind-the-scenes photography or after-hours tour of the zoo. ZooAmerica is located within Hersheypark and admission to the zoo is included in your park pass.
Hershey Gardens

Stop and smell the roses at Hershey Gardens. That’s exactly what Milton Hershey intended for visitors when he requested to “create a nice garden of roses.” Aside from fragrant flowers featured in seasonal and themed displays, Hershey Gardens offers a whimsical children’s garden with interactive play structures and a butterfly atrium where you can get up close with butterflies − so close they might land right on your head or hands. Guided walks and gardening classes are also available. Reviewers say the gardens are not only beautiful, but also relaxing.
The Falconry Experience
Did you know you could interact with falcons in Hershey? Offered at The Hotel Hershey and available to both guests and the general public, The Falconry Experience features free-flight and simulated hunt demonstrations, and the chance to have birds of prey land right on your hand. Group and family sessions are available, and kids ages 12 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Reviewers say this is one of the most unique experiences they’ve ever had.

Water Works at Hershey Lodge

Hersheypark isn’t the only place with a water park in the area. Hershey Lodge has an indoor water park called Water Works, with a zero-entry pool, a spray zone, a water-dumping bucket and more. Especially fun for young kids, the water park is exclusive and complimentary to guests of the hotel. Before you book your stay, check out the hotel’s packages, which combine overnight accommodations and Hersheypark tickets in one rate.

Closing In on the Classified Cover-up
A major Biden ally is also a top donor to the National Archives. Could private equity billionaire David Rubenstein hold the key to the White House documents scandal?
At the center of the Biden document cover-up is the question of who blocked the National Archives and Records Administration from informing the U.S. public about the classified records found in the president’s office in early November. The archives’ general counsel told members of the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability that he couldn’t divulge that information, but GOP House leadership concluded that only Attorney General Merrick Garland or Biden himself could have given those orders.
But there’s a third powerful name in play, this one from outside of the government: David Rubenstein. Co-founder of the Washington, D.C.-based private equity firm the Carlyle Group, Rubenstein is one of the archives’ most generous patrons. In 2013, the David M. Rubenstein Gallery at the National Archives was completed at a cost of $13.5 million. Rubenstein is also a major Biden ally. He has regularly hosted the Biden family at his Nantucket estate for Thanksgiving—in 2022, 2021, and 2014.

EXCERPT: “An upcoming Paramount+ spinoff series for the 1978 hit John Travolta movie Grease is aiming for an ultra-woke theme by focusing on characters with a “marginalized identity,” lesbian kissing scenes, and more — all set in 1954, supposedly four years before the events chronicled in the films.
Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies will air on the Paramount+ streaming service starting in April and is set to follow the creation of the quasi girl gang called the Pink Ladies.
The group was led by Rizzo (Stockard Channing) in the 1978 film and was made up of the misfits and outcast girls of Rydell High School. The new series will be set in 1954, just before rock-n-roll took over the nation’s imagination and before the characters of the original series entered high school, according to Deadline.”

I used to shop at Giant in VA all the time!
ENTIRE ARTICLE @ BB: “A supermarket robot escaped from its store recently in Hellertown, Pennsylvania, and was spotted in the parking lot. The robot, whose name is Marty, is a fixture inside Giant Food where it identifies spills and other hazards during store hours, Fox 5 reported Friday. Video footage shows the tall grey robot slowly rolling through the parking lot:
However, it was not long before Marty’s lucky break ended thanks to someone who grabbed the robot and guided it back inside the building.
Giant Food Stores announced in January 2019 it was adding robotic assistants to all of its 172 stores. “‘Marty,’ a tall gray robot with googly eyes, will soon be working alongside associates, thanks to a partnership between Ahold Delhaize USA services company Retail Business Services, GIANT, and Jabil subsidiary Badger Technologies™,” the news release said. Additional video footage shows one of the robots patrolling the aisles of the grocery store while shoppers fill their carts:
This was apparently the first time one of the robots tried to escape its workplace, and a spokesperson for the business told Fox 5, “Marty was just getting a little fresh air.” The Giant Food Store news release continued: The in-store robots, which move around the store unassisted, are being used to identify hazards, such as liquid, powder and bulk food-items spills and provide reporting that enables quick corrective action. The robots’ efforts free up associates to spend more time serving with customers. They also help stores mitigate risk caused by such spills.
Breitbart News reported in 2020 the Chinese coronavirus pandemic “could potentially see jobs for humans permanently replaced with machines,” per a study from the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia.
The jobs at risk were identified as retail salespeople, parking attendants, slaughterhouse workers, and toll collectors. The study claimed the pandemic could see many jobs people had performed “taken over by robots and machines,” the outlet reported.”

Entire Article @ BB: “A Chiefs fan and an Eagles fan will be attending the Super Bowl together Sunday for a unique reason. When John Gladwell and Billy Welsh met during their service with the Marine Corps in North Carolina, they did not become fast friends, KMBC reported Saturday. However, years later when Welsh put out a call for help online in finding a kidney, he was shocked to learn that Gladwell wanted to help and that he was a match.
Gladwell was thinking about Welsh and his son, who was two years old at the time, saying, “I wanted him to have dad going to Eagles games, Phillies games, Flyers, 76ers all of that.” The kidney donation happened in 2020, and Gladwell recently told Today, “You never leave a brother behind. Marines are a band of brothers. We don’t leave someone behind.”
A living donation is when a person donates one of their organs, or a portion of one, to another individual, per the National Kidney Foundation. “Living donation can also come from someone who doesn’t have an emotional relationship with the recipient, such as a friend of a friend, coworker, fellow member at their place of worship, neighbor or someone that hears through social media,” the foundation’s website reads.
One year ago, Gladwell contracted the coronavirus and found himself in the intensive care unit with stage four kidney failure, but he eventually recovered. Thanks to a bond that is unlike any other, Gladwell said, “He’s family,” and Welsh commented, “He’s my hero.”
According to the Today report, the Eagle’s president contacted the Chiefs and planned to bring them to the upcoming Super Bowl on Sunday in Glendale, Arizona. “A Chiefs kidney? I don’t know how my body will react if the Chiefs win. The Eagles are gonna win. Go birds!” Welsh jokingly said.”

more thoughts on the nfl wokeness…
FTA
Lavern Spicer said: “The Black National Anthem is the Star Spangled Banner. The White National Anthem is the Star Spangled Banner. The Mixed National Anthem is the Star Spangled Banner. If you live in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, your National Anthem is the Star Spangled Banner.”
“Spoiler Alert: The people pushing the “Black National Anthem” aren’t trying to unify the country, they’re trying to divide it,” conservative account ALX said
“My “black” National Anthem is the same anthem I’ve been singing since I was a child. The same one children of all races have been singing. My National Anthem never needed a color. Do they want racism to die, or do they want to keep finding ways to divide us all?” a user rhetorically asked.
James Lindsay, long an opponent of woke identity politics, clearly outlined the issue, writing, “There’s no such thing. This is a mid-level provocation with the goal of starting a dialectical fight about how it is a real thing and the concept of “American” isn’t suitable to describe Americans. It’s an attack on American identity using race.”
Another user stated that “[h]aving a black national anthem is just another way that Democrats keep us divided.”
And conservative commentator Nick Adams blasted the actions, saying. “This song is disgraceful and disgusting. There is NO SUCH THING as a “black national anthem. This is the most egregious escalation of racial division since the Civil War. My expectations for the NFL were already low, but this is a whole new level of woke stupidity.”

Since our national history is no longer a focus of high school education we are increasingly shielded from the fact that an enormous price was payed in lives lost and families left to further nurse their disabled vets. Many Civil War impacted families were forced to function without their principal income earners. One in 4 soldiers never returned from war…those returning with debilitating injuries cannot be quantified:
“Approximately one in four soldiers that went to war never returned home. At the outset of the war, neither army had mechanisms in place to handle the amount of death that the nation was about to experience. There were no national cemeteries, no burial details, and no messengers of loss. The largest human catastrophe in American history, the Civil War forced the young nation to confront death and destruction in a way that has not been equaled before or since.”
“For every three soldiers killed in battle, five more died of disease. The primitive nature of Civil War medicine, both in its intellectual underpinnings and in its practice in the armies, meant that many wounds and illnesses were unnecessarily fatal.” https://www.battlefields.org/learn/articles/civil-war-casualties
31,443,321 total US population 1860 census
620,000 Killed in action
426,000 wounded
And for those who say the war wasn’t fought over slavery:
“. . . most of the leading statesmen at the time of the formation of the old constitution, were that the enslavement of the African was violation of the laws of nature; that it was wrong in principle, socially, morally, and politically. . . Those ideas, however, were fundamentally wrong. They rested upon the assumption of . . . the equality of races. This was an error . . .
Our new government is founded upon exactly the opposite idea; its foundations are laid, its corner–stone rests upon the great truth, that the negro is not equal to the white man; that slavery — subordination to the superior race — is his natural and normal condition.”
— Alexander H. Stephens, (Vice President, Confederate States America)
March 21, 1861, reported in the Savannah Republican
https://home.nps.gov/liho/learn/historyculture/slavery-cause-civil-war.htm
Sorry for the length of this…I’d submit that the price of slavery was paid in blood and suffering by our nation in full. It’s only due to the burying of our history that we continue with this racial travesty…the upheaval of Reconstruction, then the Civil Rights era only further obscured the huge price already paid for slavery.

baby paced in baby box is safe, healthy and perfect
entire story
(Headline USA) Kentucky has seen its first infant anonymously dropped off at one of its “baby box” safe surrender locations.
At a news conference Friday, Safe Haven Baby Boxes founder and CEO Monica Kelsey said the child was dropped off within the last seven days at a Bowling Green Fire Department location, declining to be more specific to protect anonymity. She said fire department staff was able to tend to the child in less than 90 seconds.
The child is the 24th in the country to be surrendered at one of more than 130 baby boxes and drawers the organization has established across nine states.
“This baby is healthy. This baby is beautiful. This baby is perfect,” said Kelsey, who added that officials are now looking to place the child in “a forever home.”
Gov. Andy Beshear signed a law in 2021 that allows the use of baby boxes for children less than 30 days old. The law requires the boxes to be located at police stations, fire stations or hospitals that are staffed 24 hours a day. It also requires equipping them with a notification system to alert the first responders on site that a child has been placed inside the box.
Kentucky now has 16 baby box locations. The Bowling Green box had been operational for less than two months. Safe Haven Baby Boxes are installed in the exterior wall of a fire station or hospital. An exterior door automatically locks when a newborn is placed inside, and an interior door lets a medical staff member secure the baby from inside the building.
“This child was legally, safely, anonymously and lovingly placed inside of this Safe Haven Baby Box, and that speaks volumes about the parent,” Kelsey said.
Republican state Rep. Nancy Tate, who sponsored the legislation, told WNKY-TV that it’s her goal to have at least one box in every Kentucky county.
“It makes my heart full to know how supportive this project is,” Tate said.

assumed abandoned puppy becomes part of a coyote pack. he’s seen limping and is rescued.
FTA
“He was actually just running with them and eating with them, but then he started to limp, and we were afraid limping that the coyotes could turn on him,” McMullen said.
The trapping team received tips on his whereabouts from neighbors in the Henderson area, which is located about 15 miles southeast of Las Vegas, and spent days trying to rescue the white pup.
Last Saturday, rescuers finally managed to lure Ghost into a crate with food.
“When he got into that crate… He just sat down. I think he was also relieved,” McMullen’s partner Timi Zondiros told Fox 5.
Ghost has since taken to human affection despite his previous life living in the wild.
“He is the sweetest, most loving dog… he comes up to you he wants to be petted, he wants to be held,” Zondiros said.
His rescuers hope to find him a loving home, with Zondiros arguing Ghost “is going to be the best dog because they are the most grateful, the ones that are rescued.”
He needs medical attention after living with the coyotes, and has cuts on his face and body from fights. He also has an ear infection, a broken toe that needs to be amputated, an eye infection, and a procedure to remove his scrotum.

Good morning, Miss Pat and Filly,
Hershey’s milk chocolate is actually my favorite – like more than fancy, expensive and dark chocolate. Love Heath bars, nuggets and kisses with almonds and toffee!
However, I quit buying it after Hershey mandated the vaccine and fired workers who wouldn’t comply. I wrote them an email and warned them that their lawyers had failed to warn them that mandating the vaccine will make them liable for injuries – and that people injured by vaccines could now sue them – and the costs would likely be costly and grievous.

“Republicans Can Expose Joe Biden’s Phony Nationalism by Embracing MAGA — There is still a winning formula there, if Republicans are bold enough to try.”
By Matthew Boose @ AmGreatness
February 12, 2023
ENTIRE ARTICLE: “Joe Biden’s State of the Union speech, like his entire presidency, was an astonishingly cynical performance. There were plenty of hollow boasts about things Biden hasn’t actually achieved, but he went further than the usual partisan spin. He conveyed, to a primetime audience, a Potemkin village version of his administration’s goals. While he did plug gun control and an anti-police bill, there were few mentions of identity or race. He mostly talked about economics. In fact, he presented himself as a champion of national revitalization.
The first rule of writing is to know your audience. Biden’s State of the Union, like all of his speeches, was nothing impressive rhetorically, but it likely succeeded in its basic goal, which was to mislead disengaged and uninformed white voters. Biden was far more candid about his agenda at a Martin Luther King breakfast last month, where he bragged breathlessly about all of the wonderful things his administration is doing to steer favors and tax money specifically to black voters.
“My Justice40 Initiative means 40 percent of all of the benefits in this infrastructure law, which is over $1.2 trillion over the next 10 years, those benefits of certain federal investments flow directly to disadvantaged and underserved communities,” Biden said. If a politician were to talk this way about helping low-income whites, he would be called a racist. But Biden just kept going and going.
Biden can rile up his party’s black base like the best of the demagogues, and then get on a stage, like he did last week, and sound like George Bailey during primetime. How does he get away with it? Obviously, media bias is a big factor. Biden has never, since his 2020 campaign, received the scrutiny he deserves on a whole host of issues, from his age to his sleazy influence peddling. Remember the classified document “scandal?” But left-wing media bias is a built-in feature of American politics, and it hasn’t done much to help Kamala Harris or Pete Buttigieg, neither of whom has a realistic chance of replacing Biden in 2024.
Many on the Right, including myself, have clearly underestimated Biden’s surprising strength as a political force. Biden is not the brightest bulb, but he is a skilled liar. His rustic, “regular guy” shtick, which he continues to display even after getting rich from selling out his country to China, is an underappreciated asset for an increasingly elitist and deranged Democratic Party. And in an America that is rapidly becoming hostile to an aging, white population, Biden’s old and familiar visage is a useful tool to mollify and distract. No president in American history has done more to pursue racially based outcomes. But for many of Biden’s oblivious white voters, he evokes the dream of a prosperous, harmonious, and “color blind” America.
So, who is the real Joe Biden? He’s certainly no “nationalist,” as some commentators have been quick to concede. Biden’s superficial “nationalism” is inseparable from a racialist agenda that demonizes the country’s core population and which aims to redistribute their wealth. But Republicans can’t rely on the media to let voters know that. What do they plan to do about it?
If Biden is going to run as a fake nationalist, then Republicans would do well to embrace the one figure in American politics who has unapologetically championed American sovereignty: Donald Trump. It is Trump who put border security and deindustrialization on the radar, and it is Trump who sent Washington into a frenzy by rejecting the anti-white consensus that has reigned since the 1960s. There is still a winning formula there, if Republicans are bold enough to try.”

I haven’t seen one word from @POTUS or @PeteButtigieg on the industrial catastrophe in East Palestine, OH, which borders Biden’s “home-state” of Pennsylvania. Very little coverage.
Odd silence from the climate alarmists when faced with tangible problems. pic.twitter.com/ucqT1X5VAw

PDJT did not like the half-time show.
His comments are right on target.
The culture of the ungodly left, in media and real life, has descended into decadence and depravity.

“Jihadi Terrorist Who Murdered Eight People in NYC Finds a Way to Blame Trump”
BY ROBERT SPENCER 9:36 AM ON FEBRUARY 12, 2023
EXCERPT: “After he was admitted to the United States on a diversity visa, jihad terrorist Sayfullo Saipov murdered eight people in New York City on Halloween night in October 2017 by driving a truck along a bike path. In January, Saipov’s attorney, David Patton, emphasized that Saipov, who had declared that he was inspired by the Islamic State (ISIS), was unrepentant: “As we sit here today, he still believes that, he still believes the ISIS messaging and he still believes it was God’s will that he do what he did.” Nonetheless, Saipov is in no hurry to go to paradise and cavort with his 72 virgins. His lawyers are trying to keep this jihad murderer from getting the death penalty, and pressing all the Left’s buttons to make their case. The government just wants the death penalty, they’re claiming, because of (yes, you guessed it) “racism.” Oh, and Donald Trump.
ABC News reported Thursday that Saipov’s lawyers are opposing the death penalty because of “possible ethnic or religious discrimination.” Yeah, sure, that’s it. Prosecutors don’t find Saipov exactly cuddly not because of his cold-blooded murder for Allah of eight unsuspecting people who were just going about their daily business when Saipov plowed into them, but because he is “brown.” This line of argumentation couldn’t possibly be more absurd, but the world is so crazy these days, it just might work.
Saipov’s defense team “questioned why the government was pursuing the death penalty when the Biden administration has imposed a moratorium on federal executions and declined to authorize the death penalty in deadlier attacks, notably the hate crime at an El Paso, Texas, Walmart that killed 23 people in 2019.” Patton stated that “given the recent decision to accept Patrick Crusius’s guilty plea to life imprisonment despite his unrepentant and premeditated hate killing of 23 Latinos at a Walmart in El Paso, Texas — Crusius being a white, U.S.-born citizen — the Court should have significant concern that a driving force behind the death notice in this case is Mr. Saipov’s religion and national origin, in violation of the Fifth and Eighth Amendments.” Of course! What else could this possibly be but racism?”

“Super Bowl Flyover Featuring All Female Pilots Running 20 Minutes Late”

SPORTS · Feb 12, 2023 · BabylonBee.com
GLENDALE, AZ — The Super Bowl flyover team featuring exclusively female pilots has informed NFL officials that they are running a “little behind.”
“We’ll be right there! Sorry!” radioed pilot Amy Donaldson to an antsy crew at the stadium. “Just make yourselves comfortable!”
While television producers expressed dismay at the delay, the pilots promised they were getting ready as fast as possible. “The line for the bathroom is going as fast as it can,” assured lead pilot Emily Rawls. “Believe me, we will step on the gas and show everyone some woman power just as soon as we can! Until then – wait, hold on now – did we all just show up in the same flight outfit??”
At publishing time, the team pushed back their arrival another ten minutes after one of the pilots burned out her landing gear taxiing with the parking brake on.”

Philadelphians Preemptively Burn City Down In Preparation For Winning Or Losing Super Bowl

SPORTS · Feb 12, 2023 · BabylonBee.com
PHILADELPHIA, PA — To prepare for the aftermath of either winning or losing a football game, the citizens of Philadelphia have decided to pre-emptively raze the city to the ground.
“One way or the other it’s going to burn,” said local man Dylan Timms. “With Philly, you never have to wonder.”
After nearly twenty years without a Super Bowl appearance, the city of Philadelphia is about two-thirds rebuilt from their last Super Bowl appearance. “Philly has such a tough reputation, everyone thinks it’s so run-down,” said long-time resident Macie Tapper. “What people don’t understand is that the city was in pretty good shape before we torched it after our last Super Bowl win. Now, you might ask, why do we burn it down when we win? You might as well ask why the groundhog digs holes, or why the beaver builds dams. It’s what Philadelphia does.”
In addition to burning the buildings down, the city has planned ahead by greasing every single light pole in the city with thousands of gallons of high-grade lubricant. “Yeah, we got a few funny looks when we ordered thirty-thousand pounds of petroleum jelly,” said City Manager Dave Rubeck. “But who will be laughing when people break their legs slipping off of light poles? Me. I’ll be laughing.”
At publishing time, Kansas City was reportedly preparing for the game’s aftermath by grilling some meat and drinking beer, like a normal city.

10 Tricks To Maintaining That Perfect Dad Bod

HEALTH · Feb 11, 2023 · BabylonBee.com
“If you’re a Dad who’s always running around after your kids, doing house projects, and carrying in groceries, you may be burning more calories than you think! To avoid the shame of failing to maintain a perfect “Dad bod,” use these tried-and-true tricks!
1. Do Keto, but make exceptions for bread and beer and things of that nature: Call it Keto Plus!
2. Follow the government’s food pyramid: It helped cause an obesity epidemic, and it can work for you too!
3. Always finish your children’s leftovers no matter how much you’ve eaten already: Do it for Africa. And to avoid having to shop for smaller pants.
4. Limit cardio to sprinting to the food counter when the In-N-Out lady calls your number: Order your fries “Animal-Style” to backfill any energy you expended.
5. Skip the stairs and take the elevator instead: Knee strain can be a killer for young dads.
6. Instead of replacing a meal with Slim Fast, drink it with your meal: It’s like chocolate milk, but packed with more wonderful calories.
7. Only get off the couch for things too heavy for the kids to bring you: A sedentary lifestyle is key!
8. Beer! More BEER!!: Don’t limit yourself to just eating mass amounts of calories. Drink them too!
9. Sleep with your head in a bag of Doritos: Limit those late-night walks to the kitchen when you might accidentally get your metabolism going.
10. Remember, anything can be wrapped in bacon: Vegetables, fruit, bread. The only limit is your imagination – and how much bacon you have.
If all these tricks sound too hard, just keep doing exactly what you’re doing, buddy – you got this.

Glad the SB is over…tired of hearing about the symbolism of “two black quarterbacks” from the leftist media when over 70% of the league is black…
Media are the true racists… I didn’t look at the ethnicity of the quarterbacks that way but promoting black “accomplishments” are paramount to them…

I’ve noticed as I FF thru the commercials – at least 90% are black actors.
