Capricorn

I thought it might be fun –seriously not recommending nor am I dissuading anyone from reading their horoscopes—this is just for fun—if we took a monthly look at zodiac signs and horoscopes.  Capricorn is actually the 10th sign of the zodiac, so we’re not starting at the beginning obviously.  The dates for a Capricorn are December 22- January 19 or 20 (depending on whom you consult).  Their symbol is a goat (mythologically speaking the Sea-Goat to be specific); their element is Earth and their color is brown.

When I went looking for information—there are literally TONS of zodiac sites—I chose one randomly and here’s what it said…

Capricorn is the 10th sign of the zodiac and is represented by the Goat. Those born under this sign are generally pragmatic, ambitious, and disciplined, although they can also be somewhat stoic and pessimistic.

Capricorns belong to the element Earth (as do Taurus and Virgo), which makes sense considering how grounded they are in reality when it comes to making their dreams happen.

Indeed, Capricorns look at everything as a task to be completed, making them an incredibly independent, hardworking type. They can accomplish whatever they set their minds to, regardless of the energy it requires, so long as they have a clear goal and a path for getting there.

This also means, however, that Capricorns can hold other people to incredibly high standards. Because the Capricorn is connected to Saturn, a symbol of restraint and restriction, the Capricorn personality can at times seem distant, emotionless, and overly analytical; therefore, it’s important for Capricorns to occasionally relax and get in touch with their feelings through activities such as meditation.

Capricorns value tradition and are typically more conservative in terms of their personality and interests. This more traditional approach to the world is reflected in the classic style and character of the most common Capricorn birthstone, the garnet (January’s birthstone). (If you’re a December Capricorn, your birthstone is the blue topaz.)

What kinds of positive and negative traits does the Capricorn personality have? On the good side, Capricorn is hardworking, ambitious, and responsible. Meanwhile, on the bad side, the Capricorn sign is pessimistic, work-obsessed, and stubborn.

Some examples of suitable jobs for Capricorns include the following:

Accountant

Banker

Business analyst

Business executive

Economist

Human Resources manager

Politician

Principal or teacher

  9. freaking disgusting! they…no correct that, WE THE TAXPAYERS, paid to house this crumb for 6 months in a SUITE at Andrews…
    entire article

(Washington, DC) Judicial Watch announced today it received 31 pages of documents from the Department of the Air Force, Joint Base Andrews, MD, that show U.S. Capitol Police Lieutenant Michael Byrd was housed at taxpayer expense at Joint Base Andrews after he shot and killed U.S. Air Force veteran Ashli Babbitt inside the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.

The records were obtained in response to a September 2022 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia after Joint Base Andrews, the Civil Rights Division of the Justice Department, and the FBI failed to respond to three July 2022 FOIA requests about Byrd’s housing at Joint Base Andrews while his name as the shooter of Ashli Babbitt was being withheld from the public by the government (Judicial Watch v U.S. Department of Defense and U.S. Department of Justice (No. 1:22-cv-02948)).

In its complaint, Judicial Watch explained to the court that it had asked all three government agencies for all records relating to the billeting of Byrd at Joint Base Andrews during the period from January 6, 2021, to July 2022, including authorization papers, housing, meals, transportation, and visitor logs.

The documents show that Lieutenant Byrd and a pet stayed in a “Distinguished Visitor Suite” at the “Presidential Inn” (part of Air Force Inns) under a “Capitol Police Presidential Inn Reservation” for the period July 8, 2021, through January 28, 2022.

Judicial Watch was informed by a representative at Joint Base Andrews that a “Distinguished Visitor Suite” is typically reserved for officers at the rank of O-7 (Brigadier General or higher.).

An August 2021 email from the assistant hotel manager indicates that the U.S. Capitol Police had been paying Byrd’s bills by phone “every 10 days.”

In an email thread beginning in November 2021, an accounting officer from the U.S. Capitol Police asks the Presidential Inn’s assistant lodging manager to provide detailed invoices reflecting all of the charges incurred by Lt. Byrd while staying at the Inn, in an email titled “Reservation Information-USCP [US Capitol Police] guest.” The manager then provides “folios” for Byrd’s reservation at the Inn from July 8 through November 11, 2021. When asked to explain pricing changes for Byrd’s lodging, the hotel manager explains that higher rates were due in part to the fact that Byrd moved from a “Temporary Lodging Facility” into a “Distinguished Visitors Suite.”

The records and an email dated November 15, 2021, indicate the cost of Lt. Byrd’s lodging fluctuated from $161 in July 2021, dropped to $158 for August 2021, increased to $184 for September 2021, $185 for October 2021, and dropped to $165 for November 2021.

On February 7, 2022, the U.S. Capitol Police again asked the hotel manager for detailed invoices for Byrd’s stay. The manager confirmed that Byrd checked out on January 28, 2022, and that there were “sundry items that were used in the room that were not paid for before the guest left.”

The email, appears to confirm the Capitol Police were covering the cost of Byrd’s stay at the Presidential Inn, when a Capitol Police accounting officer tried to clarify Byrd’s hotel bill, asking the hotel manager, “So the hotel is charging USCP for the room and pet fee for January 28-30, or not?”

“These extraordinary revelations forced out by a Judicial Watch FOIA lawsuit show Defense Department facilities were used to provide long-term housing for the Capitol Hill police officer who shot and killed Air Force veteran Ashli Babbitt,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.

In June 2022, Judicial Watch produced DOJ records related to the shooting of Babbitt that included a memo recommending “that the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia decline for criminal prosecution the fatal shooting of Ashli McEntee [Babbitt],” also noting that the shooter, Byrd, “did not create a police report or documents” related to the shooting of Babbitt. A footnote details missing evidence: “During the debrief of Lieutenant Byrd, he did recall writing a few sentences on an evidence bag the evening of January 6, 2021, at the request of a crime scene officer. To date, the bag has not been located by USCP or MPD.”

In November 2021, Judicial Watch received multiple audio, visual and photo records from the DC Metropolitan Police Department about the shooting death of Ashli Babbitt on January 6, 2021, in the U.S. Capitol Building. The records include a cell phone video of the shooting. An audio file of a police interview of the shooter, Byrd, indicates he declined to cooperate.

Judicial Watch previously uncovered records from the DC Metropolitan Police showing that officers reported they didn’t see a weapon in Babbitt’s hand before Byrd shot her and that Byrd was visibly distraught afterward. One officer attested that he didn’t recall hearing any verbal commands before Byrd shot Babbitt. The records include internal communications about Byrd’s case and a crime scene examination report. Investigators who wrote the January 6, 2021, Metro PD Death Report for Babbitt (identified as Ashli Elizabeth McEntee-Babbitt Pamatian) note that the possible Manner of Death was “Homicide (Police Involved Shooting).”

Judicial Watch is engaged in a comprehensive, independent investigation into the January 6 disturbance:

February 2022: Judicial Watch filed an opposition to the U.S. Capitol Police’s (USCP) effort to shut down Judicial Watch’s federal lawsuit for January 6 videos and emails. Through its police department, Congress argues that the videos and emails are not public records, there is no public interest in their release, and that “sovereign immunity” prevents citizens from suing for their release.

In November 2021: Judicial Watch – in its FOIA lawsuit asking for records of communication between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and several financial institutions about the reported transfer of financial transaction records of people in DC, Maryland and Virginia on January 5 and January 6, 2021 – told a federal court that the FBI may have violated law in its January 6 probes.

The funding structure is a biggie – 12 individual funding bills – NO MORE OMNIBUS!!! 72 HRS to read the bill. That alone is huge, add in the Church-type Commission with Massie on it, 3 FC members on the Rules Committee – that committee dictates ALL the rules! These were, indeed, some very big wins except for that big elephant in the room. I guess now is when WE have to get busy and hold our reps’ feet to the fire…..I was soooo disgusted by Don Bacon…..sigh…

Arizona’s Maricopa County announced an investigation Friday into problems that plagued the 2022 election.

Former Arizona Supreme Court Justice Ruth McGregor agreed to lead the “independent” endeavor, county officials said in a statement. McGregor was a member of the state Supreme Court from 1998 to 2009 and participated in a 2019 investigation into security issues at Arizona’s prisons.

McGregor will hire a team of “independent experts to find out why the printers that read ballots well in the August Primary had trouble reading some ballots while using the same settings in the November General,” Maricopa Board of Supervisors Chairman Bill Gates and Vice Chairman Clint Hickman said in their statement. “Our voters deserve nothing less.”

Found this on Small Dead Animals:

    Jenna Ellis thread –

BREAKING: Source tells me the closed-room background why the 14 are now backing McCarthy.

    THREAD

The motion to vacate is key.

It’s a privilege motion (supersedes all other business except adjournment) that takes only one movant. If invoked, McCarthy would need a majority of 218 to STAY as Speaker.
This effectively neuters McCarthy. The original 20 have a pact that if McCarthy does anything outside his promises, they will vote to not retain and he’s gone.
The rest of the rules package would mark the first time HRC would have independent authority from leadership in over 60 years—good for accountability and the public.
Process requires the vote for speaker to happen first, member swearing-in, then rules package; however, if McCarthy tries to back out of any concession, he won’t have the votes for any rules package and we’re back to a stall. Congress can’t move without a rules package affirmed.
Source tells me the 10pm vote is likely going to see a consensus and McCarthy elected.
Bottom line: With this rules package, the 20 have achieved an historic accountability oversight and check on leadership and the Speaker’s power.

I would consider this a TOTAL WIN for Gaetz & Co, the MAGA movement, and therefore America.

Declare victory and let’s get to work!

  12. interesting…could the police be giving kohlberger the impression they might charge his father with conspiracy, aiding and abetting or other charge? in other words…leverage?
    FTA

Media reports claim that the father-son road trip back from Washington had been pre-planned, perhaps well before the murders.  But Kohberger could harbor concerns that circumstances could implicate his father as an accessory after the fact.

Police body-cam footage serves to place Kohberger together with his father — in the white Hyundai Elantra police have been looking for, with the presumptive matching cell phone data.  Now, with footage from the car stops, Kohberger may fear that police hold leverage in deciding whether to charge his father in aiding to bring the suspect vehicle far from the area of the murder scene.

  13. “BOMBSHELL: The DoD Made COVID & the Damar Hamlin Story Plus the BioWeapon Vaccines — “Died Suddenly” Is Going To Be With Us For A Long Time
    2 hr ago

EXCERPT: “I’m opening this with a bombshell. A new article posted in the Armed Forces Press is titled: BREAKING: DOD CONTROLLED COVID ‘VACCINES’ FROM THE START UNDER NATIONAL SECURITY PROGRAM – LIED THE ENTIRE TIME – Were NEVER ‘Safe and Effective’.

The title says it all. The DOD was involved in the creation of COVID through intelligence agency partnerships with EcoHealth Alliance and the same people pushed the vaccine bioweapons (more in our Report on the Origins of SARS-COV-2). My question is, will the new House actually investigate and push for the prosecution of the DOD personnel involved in a plot that has killed over 10 million people globally between the jabs, the disease, and the lockdowns? Or will they continue to keep Jan 6ers as political prisoners and ramble on about sedition by Trump when true sedition and treason seems to have occurred in our very own DOD.

The nation was horrified last Monday night to see Buffalo Bills Safety Damar Hamlin collapse on the field after making a tackle. Hamlin was given CPR for ten minutes before being brought to hospital via an ambulance driven onto the field. It is being reported that Hamlin suffered a heart attack, but Dr. Peter McCullough suspects that subclinical vaccine-induced myocarditis may have been a contributing factor.

Sadly, it took a Monday Night Football national audience to witness what has been happening for two years now. And it looks as though scenes like this will be commonplace for the foreseeable future.”

  14. “How the FBI Hacked Twitter — The answer begins with Russiagate”
    BY LEE SMITH

(Former FBI General Counsel James A. BakerRON SACHS/CONSOLIDATED NEWS PICTURES/ GETTY IMAGES)

EXCERPT: “In fact, the FBI’s penetration of Twitter constituted just one part of a much larger intelligence operation—one in which the bureau offshored the machinery it used to interfere in the 2016 election and embedded it within the private sector. The resulting behemoth, still being built today, is a public-private consortium made up of U.S. intelligence agencies, Big Tech companies, civil society institutions, and major media organizations that has become the world’s most powerful spy service—one that was powerful enough to disappear the former president of the United States from public life, and that is now powerful enough to do the same or worse to anyone else it chooses.
    —————
The Twitter files have to date focused on FBI and, to a lesser extent, CIA election interference. However a lesser-known U.S. government agency, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) also played a significant role in shaping the 2020 vote. “CISA is a sub-agency at DHS that was set up to protect real physical infrastructure, like servers, malware and hacking threats,” said former State Department official Mike Benz, now the executive director of the Foundation for Freedom Online. “But they expanded ‘infrastructure’ to mean us, the U.S. electorate. So ‘disinformation’ threatened infrastructure and that’s how cybersecurity became cyber-censorship. CISA’s mandate went from stopping threats of Russian malware to stopping tweets from accounts that questioned the integrity of mail-in voting.”

  16. this is WHY ERIC was created…to send voter registrations (using DMV sites) to ineligible voters—aka illegals. they are allowed to obtain driver’s licenses and therefore get sent registration forms to vote–even tho they are NOT eligible to vote in federal elections. now Colorado won’t release the names of those ineligibles so the counties can see whether or not they voted.
    entire article
Colorado officials are still refusing to cooperate with local counties after the secretary of state’s office sent more than 31,000 foreign nationals postcards on how to register to vote in time for the 2022 midterms.

According to a newly released report by the Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF), the Colorado secretary of state’s office has refused to give county election officials the names of foreign nationals who received voter registration instructions in their counties back in October. According to documents obtained by PILF, Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Beall refused to give the names of 54 foreign nationals who were mailed the voter registration postcards in Moffat County.

A spokesman for Beall told a Moffat County official there were “potential legal issues that need to be addressed before lists of erroneous recipients in each county can be shared” and that he did not have a timeline for when such issues would be resolved — “or if they can be at all.”

Because the secretary of state’s office is refusing to cooperate with county officials, there is no way for them to check if such ineligible residents voted illegally in the 2022 midterms.

As previously reported by The Federalist, the faulty mailer was the result of Colorado’s membership with the Electronic Registration Information Center (ERIC), a voter roll management system that ostensibly helps states register new voters. As part of its membership agreement, Colorado is obligated to send at least one voter registration mailer to eligible citizens per election cycle.

As I’ve previously explained, ERIC comes up with a list of eligible but unregistered (EBU) potential voters for states by combining data from voter files, department of motor vehicles (DMV) records, and state agencies that perform voter registration functions. After crafting these lists, ERIC sends them to the states, which use them for voter registration outreach.

Secretary of State Jena Griswold’s office blamed the mailing “error on a database glitch related to the state’s list of residents with driver’s licenses” — but ERIC openly admits it creates voter outreach lists using DMV data. In Colorado, foreign citizens may obtain driver’s licenses. (Griswold claimed “none of the noncitizen” drivers would be permitted “to register to vote if they [tried].”)

Griswold’s office tried to remedy its “mistake” soon after by sending out a second round of postcards to recipients of the original mailer, explaining the qualifications to vote. The office also “built a mechanism into the online voter registration portal to prevent any of the 31,093 from using the system,” according to PILF.

“Colorado shouldn’t be sending foreign nationals voter registration information,” PILF President J. Christian Adams said in a statement. “When they do, the public should be able to see all of the records so we can hold election officials accountable. Transparency in elections is essential. This circus right before a federal election shouldn’t happen. Knowing who is to blame and what went wrong is essential to prevent a repeat.”

PILF is currently suing the Colorado Secretary of State’s office for its failure to make public its voter list maintenance records with ERIC.

            1. After the last subzero spell a week or so ago,
We’re basking in upper 30’s to mid 40’s during the day & the rain we’ve had this last week would have been snow in most other years. So, apologies to kiddos with Xmas sleds but us septuagenarians are enjoying the unseasonal temps.

  20. what the heck??? these antennas keep popping up and authorities keep taking them done…no one knows who’s doing it
    FTA

As first reported by KSLTV 5 in Utah, people first began noticing the antennas a year ago. They’re simple machines made up of a LoRa fiberglass antenna, a locked battery pack, and a solar panel to power it. The Salt Lake City public lands department has been pulling them down as they find them, and told KSLTV that there have been as many as a dozen.

“As many as a dozen” of these things:

Officials really are putting in a lot of work to take these things down:

As an aside, wow, Utah really kind of looks like a Yukon tundra, doesn’t it? How is that located in the continental United States? But I digress.

So what the heck are these things? There are a few working theories:

The router made Fonarow initially think the thing was a cell phone booster, he said. Another leading theory online is that the antennas are part of a cryptocurrency mining operation. Helium is a type of cryptocurrency that uses antennas to create a long-range, wide-area network. Instead of proof-of-work releasing token rewards, Helium relies on what it calls proof-of-coverage. The wider the network, the more Helium you’re mining. Helium mining requires the exact kind of antenna shown in the photos of the devices recovered by Salt Lake City authorities. There are plenty of articles online instructing people how to create solar-powered rigs for Helium miners to deploy in rural areas, and Helium miners are fond of bragging about the elevation of their antennas.

“Fauci responds to alleged upcoming “Fauci Files,” says “disinformation” is the “enemy” — Twitter has hinted at Fauci-related censorship demands.”
    By Christina Maas
    Posted 3:23 pm

ENTIRE ARTICLE @ ReclaimTheNet: “Although Dr. Anthony Fauci retired from his government post last month, he is still talking. On Sunday, Twitter CEO Elon Musk tweeted that he would release “Fauci Files,” which could shed light on any communication between the company and the former top government expert on infectious diseases or the department that he ran.

In an interview on CBS News’ “The Takeout,” Fauci said: “I have no idea what [Musk]’s talking about. I mean, there’s a lot of misinformation, conspiracy theories, and disinformation going on. I have nothing to say to him. I don’t understand what he’s doing. It’s just unfortunate.”

Last month, Musk also criticized Fauci, tweeting, “My pronouns are Prosecute/Fauci.”

House Republicans, who are set to take over the leadership of committees, have indicated that they will call Fauci to testify in an effort to investigate the Biden administration’s handling of the pandemic and online censorship demands.

“I would willingly do that without any problem,” Fauci said. “But I have nothing to hide. I could defend everything I’ve done.” “Disinformation is the enemy of good public health practices,” Fauci said during the interview. Dr. Fauci was asked about the conversation that took place online after Damar Hamlin (the safety for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League who, during a Monday Night Football game on January 2, 2023, suffered cardiac arrest) and the mentions Twitter that it could have been related to the Covid vaccine.

“It’s hard that misinformation and disinformation, when you have a platform like social media that exponentially spreads; in its best form proper and important and value-added information can spread which is good,” Dr. Fauci responded. “The thing as a public health person and as a physician and a scientist and my identity as a physician is the thing that gets pained the most by that because what that means is that yet again another conspiracy theory – complete nonsense – is going to have some people make a decision for themselves and their family not to get vaccinated which may cost them their lives, so that’s the thing that’s so horrible about it and if you want to go out spouting nonsense conspiracy theories and spreading it all around – fine – except if it results in a person suffering and perhaps dying, and that’s what happens when disinformation disincentivizes people to get proper interventions for a threat like a pandemic.”
