There’s no question that maintaining a nutritious diet can help keep your body healthy. But when it comes to which foods can specifically benefit which body parts, science remains surprisingly sketchy. But nature gives us a big clue as to what foods help what part of our body!

From the website Healthy Habits, here are foods that mirror the body parts they provide nutrients for—for example, brain-boosting walnuts actually look like a brain. Coincidence? Maybe. Though these healthy foods are beneficial to the whole body, the list below is a fun reminder of what to eat to target specific areas. Remember, most of these foods are more beneficial when eaten raw. (As with most items found on the internet, please take this one with a grain of salt…these guys misspelled scrotum…lol)

A sliced Carrot looks like the human eye. According to science, eating carrots greatly enhances blood flow to the eyes. Carrot gets their orange color from a plant chemical called beta-carotene, which reduces the risk of developing cataracts. The chemical also protects against macular degeneration an age-related sight problem that affects one in four individuals over the age of 65. If one tries to pop a pill of beta-carotene it doesn’t have the same effect, says scientists at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, USA.

A Tomato has four chambers and is red in color– the heart is also red and has four chambers. Research has confirmed that tomatoes are loaded with lycopine and it is indeed pure heart and blood food.

Grapes resembles the alveoli of the lungs. The lungs are made of branches of ever-smaller airways that finish up with tiny branches of tissue called alveoli. These structures allow oxygen to pass from the lungs to the blood stream. A diet high in fresh grapes has shown to reduce the risk of lung cancer and emphysema. Grape seeds also contain a chemical called proanthocyanidin, which is thought to reduce the severity of asthma triggered by allergy. One reason that premature babies struggle to survive is that, these alveoli do not begin to form until the 23rd to 24th week of pregnancy.

A Walnut looks like a little brain, a left and right hemisphere, upper cerebrums and lower cerebellums. Even the wrinkles or folds on the nut are similar to those of the neo-cortex. Scientists claim that walnuts help in developing over three dozen neuron-transmitters within the brain enhancing the signaling and encouraging new messaging link between the brain cells. Walnuts help ward off dementia. They also extract and break down the protein based plaques associated with Alzheimer’s diseases, according to a study by Dr. James Joseph of Tuft University in Boston.

Kidney Beans actually heal and help maintain kidney function and are shaped exactly like the human kidneys (hence their name). Kidney beans provide a variety of minerals and vitamins, and are generally beneficial for your health. If your kidneys are healthy, kidney beans can — when consumed as part of a balanced diet — contribute to your kidney health. If your kidneys are diseased, you might need to moderate your intake of kidney beans.

Celery, Rhubarb, Bok-choy and more look just like bones’ structure. These foods specifically target bone strength. Bones are made up of 23% sodium and these foods have sodium in them. If you don’t have enough sodium in your diet the body pulls it from the bones, making them weak. These foods replenish the skeletal needs of the body.

Avocados and Pears are good for the health and functioning of the womb and cervix of the female and look just like these organs. Modern research shows that when a woman eats one avocado a week, it balances the birth hormones, sheds unwanted birth weight and can even prevent cervical cancer. It even takes exactly nine months to grow an avocado from blossom to ripened fruit, just like a human baby! There are said to be over 14,000 photolytic chemical constituents of nutrition in each one of these foods.

Figs are full of seeds and hang in twos when they grow. Studies have shown that Figs increase the mobility of male sperm and increase the sperm count as well as overcoming male sterility.

Sweet Potatoes resemble the pancreas and can actually balance the glycemic index of diabetics. The oblong sweet potato bears a strong resemblance to the pancreas, and also promotes healthy function in the organ. Sweet potatoes are high in beta-carotene, which is a potent antioxidant that protects all tissues of the body, including the pancreas, from damage associated with cancer or aging.

Olives assist the health and function of the ovaries. An Italian study found that women whose diets included a lot of olive oil had a 30% lower risk of ovarian cancer. The reasons are unclear, but the healthy fats in the oil may help suppress genes predisposed to causing cancer.

Grapefruits, Oranges, and other citrus fruits look just like the mammary glands of the female and actually assist the health of the breasts and the movement of lymph in and out of the breasts. The similarity between round citrus fruits––like lemons and grapefruit––and breasts may be more than coincidental. “Grapefruit contains substances called limonoids, which have been shown to inhibit the development of cancer in lab animals and in human breast cells,” says Dr. Moulavi.

Eating a Banana will cheer you up and put a smile on your face. This popular fruit contains a protein called tryptophan, when digested it gets converted into a neurotransmitter called serotonin, which is a mood regulating chemical in the brain. Bananas can be termed as an antidepressant drug, since it adjusts the level of serotonin production in the brain.

Onions look like the body’s cells. Research shows onions clear waste materials from all of the body cells. They even produce tears which wash the epithelial layers of the eyes. 

Ginger looks like the stomach and it also aids in digestion. Indians and Chinese have been using it for over 5000 years to calm the stomach, cure nausea, and motion sickness. It also slows down the growth rate of bowel tumors.

A Mushroom when sliced in half resembles the shape of the human ear. Mushrooms improve hearing abilities, since they contain Vitamin D, which is healthy for bones, especially the 3 tiny bones in the ear that transmit sound to the brain.

    1. We have clear skies and sunshine but decidedly nipply out there at 12 degrees! I think today would be a good day to defrost my chest freezer. I will put everything in a clothes basket and put it out on the patio, since it’s not supposed to get above the 20’s today and single digit temps tonight.

      I never have paid much attention to eating healthy, specifically – it was more along the lines of what we could afford. I normally like a lot of things that are good for me anyway but I did pay closer attention to what I fed HB as she was growing up. We weren’t very heavy on fruits but veggies were always on the menu.

        1. There weren’t many fruits we could grow here in NE besides mulberries. But we grew all kinds of veggies and ate a lot of them raw with dips and various sauces. Fruits were expensive to buy at the store.

    The very unfair Manhattan D.A. Fringe Benefits Case, the likes of which has never been prosecuted in our Country before, has fallen apart. There was no gain for “Trump,” and we had no knowledge of it. Even the media is saying that if we are treated fairly, always a big question with me, we win. This Witch Hunt has cost NYC $millions & $millions at a time when violent crime in New York has reached an all time high. Went through 8 million pages of Documents and found NOTHING. Focus on MURDER!!!

We are being INVADED & overrun by millions and millions of people from parts unknown. Some of the worlds worst criminals, and DRUGS, are pouring into our Country.         The USA will be paying a very big price, perhaps the biggest price of all, because of what is being allowed to happen at our Southern Border, which just two years ago was the most secure, by far, in history! I built hundreds of miles of desperately needed WALL, was able to get 28,000 Mexican Soldiers (free!) to guard the Border, and created, and got approved, the incredible STAY IN MEXICO POLICY. Now it has all gone to “dust,” our Country is rapidly being destroyed. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!

          I do recall reading that the Spanish Flu was brought to Europe and the USA when the Allies imported Chinese laborers to build railroads while the troops were busy at war. If this is so – all of our virus outbreaks in the last two centuries have come from China.

    Database latency — a geeky term, but that’s how they did it!

    A policeman pulls over a speeder. The police computer reports that three hours ago a similar vehicle and person held up a liquor store — so the police are on alert. 

    No database latency.

    County election managers change the zip code of 31,000 voters on September 3. Ballots go out that week. Those 31,000 are undeliverable. Someone collects those valid ballots. On September 15th, those addresses are quietly changed back. 

    National Change of Address Database (NCOA) will not pick up those address changes. They didn’t happen because there is no history.

    The 31,000 citizens were getting their mail just fine — except for ballots. Ballot addresses were driven by the county mail-in ballot database — the one that was changed, then changed back.

    Many states send ballots to everyone; the recipient is none the wiser that they never received a mail-in ballot. They may vote in person. Oops! “You already voted!” Ever heard that?

    Welcome to database latency. 

    Our bad guy pals know they can change voter rolls, take an action, then change them back. Who would know? 

    A thousand voters are changed from inactive, voted, then changed back, and how would you ever know? With lots of complex footwork, you could eventually tell from their voter history file — months after the election.

    What are you going to do about it? Reverse the election? 

    The new, and current “ballot gathering strategy” mandated by the almost universal mail-in ballots adds pretty cool database games — exploiting database latency.

    Database latency, as you likely gathered, is when current reality lags the underlying record. We all experience it in our electronics-driven society.

    The ballot gathering scammers know about latency — it’s their ground game!

    To Republicans, election engineering is civics. To Democrats, it’s business — and they are great at it!

    They know the Republicans have hundreds of diligent election sleuths working in basements and dining room tables checking voter rolls for the dead and the fakes.

    They know those people rely on NCOA and Melissa and other highly latent services as their baseline. If someone moved, it shows up in NCOA — two months later.

    A real voter moved. They want to keep getting their St. Jude’s donation cards. They fill in their NCOA form to get mail forwarded to their new address. Our fraud detectives find this person — and maybe someone voted for them. Cross out one phantom!

    Our bad guys are happy to give up a few retail-level ballots to hide the wholesale-level ballot-gathering apparatus. They count on it.

    Here’s the fraud equation taking place across the country: 

    Count the in-person votes on election day. 

    Count the early, in-person votes. 

    Shut down the system (Atlanta water leak, Maricopa County everything). 

    Bring in undeliverable ballots gathered when you changed voters’ names, addresses, or zip codes, then changed them back.

    Determine the votes you need to win. Press the “WIN” button.

    Wait for the Republicans to file a lawsuit months later.

    Floating ballots are the lifeblood Democrats need to win — and win they do.

    Ballot gatherers know Republicans use dumb technology — relational databases, SQL, NCOA, Melissa, all non-real time, highly latent systems. 

    Bad guys are happy to watch Republicans waste time finding ones and twos, while the real action takes place by the thousands — invisible to these batch, latency-prone systems.

    The RNC helps with its antiquated “big data” system equally oblivious to anything that happens within a month.

    Want to run for office? It’s uglier.

    A latency-prone database, like the RNC’s, to pick one, tells you how your voter was prone to vote over the last 10 election cycles. She “leans” Republican.

    Unfortunately, it does not tell you that while she leaned Republican for years, she donated, this week, to Greenpeace, enraged at the Dollar Store being built across her street. Real time means something: what is going on here, now, today. 

    Your Democrat opponent knows that — she is real time, you aren’t, you are RNC.

    We know an election commission is going to do anything possible to make the Democrat win. Wisconsin Election Commission, Arizona’s Maricopa County, seven states in 2016, for instance.

    Rather than wasting time on batch NCOA, we get a daily copy of the election roll. That’s expensive! The list in Wisconsin is $12,000! But did you know your Democrat friends bought it 28 times before the 2016 election?

  23. this article describes the SCOTUS case about the oath congress took. the petitioners believe that 377 members of congress violated their oaths when they voted NOT to investigate cases of voter fraud. they are stating that by dismissing the allegations, they were not being faithful to the country and should be removed from congress.
    it’s not that they are seeking to overturn the election per se–but by not even INVESTIGATING the allegations, they did serious harm to the country.
    many in the comments don’t believe SCOTUS will even hear it or take it seriously–but one commenter believes that SCOTUS will (at least) consider it. Because to not do so, also calls into question THEIR sworn oaths…

    Pray, Prepare, and Hope — It’s easy for Americans who are awake to what’s happening around us to do two things. First, we can become extremely concerned about the future. This concern manifests in different ways for different people. Some get angry. Others experience anxiety or depression. Many sit back and hope for the best. Others run for the hills. No matter how it manifests, the faithful who have read their Bibles know that this temporary life is just a stepping stone to something infinitely greater. Hard times were prophesied, so whether things get worse or if we’re given a reprieve and judgment has not yet come, we should pray and remain hopeful.

    The second thing that happens is we look around and wonder why so many around us seem completely oblivious. It’s not just Democrats, leftists, or atheists. Even many if not most patriotic and faith-driven people seem to be underestimating the abysmal state of affairs in this nation. They know it’s bad, but they seem to believe it’s not THAT bad. This is why it’s imperative that the faithful and the patriotic spread the word. Don’t just drop a link on Twitter or Gab, though that would be nice. Email it. Talk about it in person. Please do what you can to help people wake up and do what they must to prepare.

    Some may say it’s not their problem. I would argue that the more people who are aware and taking actions to improve their own situations, the harder it will be for the powers-that-be to achieve their evil goals. We need allies. But remember one thing above all else. Whether it manifests for us today or after we’re gone, our greatest ally is our Creator. Do all things for Him.

    Donald Rumsfeld was due to testify about a missing $2.3 trillion before Congress on September 13 2001, however the case was put on hold after the events of September 11. The paper trail was destroyed when one side of the Pentagon was blown up, and the $2.3 trillion dollar case was brushed under the rubble.

    The new case of the missing trillions, and the combustible political climate in 2022, has left many commentators fearing that “something big is about to happen again.” The Hill reports that after 1,600 auditors combed through DOD’s $3.5 trillion in assets and $3.7 trillion in liabilities, officials found that the department couldn’t account for about 61 percent of its assets, Pentagon Comptroller Mike McCord told reporters on Tuesday.

    Federal law since the early 1990s requires mandatory audits for all government agencies, and since fiscal year 2013 all but the DOD have been able to satisfy that requirement. The sheer size and scope of the department — which makes up for more than half of the U.S. discretionary spending and has assets that range from personnel and supplies to bases and weapons — makes it difficult to audit.

    In December 2017, defense officials set out to scrutinize DOD’s books, the first comprehensive audit of the agency in its history. That effort failed the next year, and the four that followed. The agency had never expected to pass, however, due to accounting issues officials said could take years to fix.
    Because accounting records needed to complete the assessment were not available, all five audits received a “disclaimer of opinion,” though there have been improvements each time.

    McCord, who served as Pentagon comptroller from 2009 to 2017 and again since June 2021, said the most recent audit required 220 in-person site visits and 750 virtual site visits by Pentagon officials and independent public accounting firm personnel. What they found were several new weaknesses in how DOD accounted for its assets, which include nearly 2.9 million military personnel; equipment and weapons including 19,700 aircraft and more than 290 ships; and physical items including buildings, roads and fences on 4,860 sites worldwide.

    To break up the work, the department holds 27 separate, smaller audits and then combines the information to get the bigger picture and prevent “having something on a record that doesn’t exist in reality or having big discrepancies.”

    McCord said that while he prefers to focus on the progress in this year’s audit, each time “the progress is getting a little harder” due to “much of the lower hanging fruit having been picked,” meaning the simpler issues have already been weeded out.”

      1. It sure was worth it! I just saw the bird again that I thought was the Variegated Woodpecker but now I think it is a Northern Flicker, which are considered to be a type of woodpecker. I used to have them here all the time, digging in the yard for ants, before I started spraying for weeds. I got a closer look at it this morning. The Downy woodpeckers are just so tiny, fluffy and cute!!! And those greedy males! They dig at the suet while their partner sits and waits until they are done!

    Pushing Kids Into Suicide — Suicides in young people are NOT always a result of deeply thought-out and independently made personal decisions. Some children were pushed and groomed into killing themselves by others.

    For years, anonymous Internet weirdos would connect to vulnerable children, pretend to be attractive boys or girls looking for a friend, and after gaining confidence, would groom and later push these children into killing themselves. Those weirdos call themselves “blue whales” and use blue whale symbolism, as the 2019 Sun article explains.

    Blue Whales have secret forums to exchange tips, techniques, etc. They would share ongoing conversations that they were having with vulnerable teens for the best suggestions on how to proceed to push them into killing themselves.

    The Blue Whale suicide game is believed to be a social media group which is encouraging people to kill themselves. There are hundreds of thousands of posts relating to the sick trend on Instagram. It’s thought a group administrator assigns daily tasks to members, which they have to complete over 50 days. The horrific tasks include self-harming, watching horror movies and waking up at unusual hours, but these gradually get more extreme. On the 50th day, the controlling manipulators behind the game reportedly instruct the youngsters to commit suicide.

    The Sun article above may have many details wrong, but it got the gist right. The targets of “blue whales” were lonely and suggestible young people desperate for company and validation. They would clutch the friendly hand extended to them by “blue whales” as a drowning person would proverbially clutch at straws — looking for anyone to have a connection with.

    Blue Whales used fake avatars and would pretend to be good-looking people of appropriate age – to gain the trust and romantic interest of their mystery interlocutors. Once the trust and dependency were gained, suicide talk would begin.

    The objective of the “blue whale” game was to kill as many victims as possible by talking them into suicide. Deaths were celebrated, scores were kept, and winners were announced. This BBC article from 2019 offers more details.”

It still amazes me, when I hear of all these issues many other people have, and I’ve just been so healthy all my life – the only issue I had was my poor iron level when I was pregnant with HB, which was easily rectified with vitamins and eating liver (which I like) and raisins (which I don’t)…..it is really hard to understand what that is like….part of it is certainly genetic but many women in my family have had assorted ailments, while I have had none. I kind of think my Dad’s genes had something to do with it since my brother and I (my only full sibling) were both very lucky with our health. Yes, he died of cancer a few years ago but I think that was caused by Agent Orange in VN. Our Dad died of pure spite and old age at the Veterans Hospital here.

    EXCLUSIVE — U.S. air marshals are planning to stage an open rebellion against the Biden administration over a plan that would strip 99% of commercial flights from federal protection as people take to the skies during the busiest time of the year for air travel .

    Dozens of federal air marshals have agreed to refuse a Biden administration order that they leave their assignments and go to the southern border , where they will drive, feed, and care for illegal immigrants due to a shortage of Border Patrol agents.

    “The rank and file air marshals are going to refuse to deploy and risk termination,” said David Londo, president of the Air Marshal National Council, in a phone call with the Washington Examiner on Tuesday. “You’re almost going to have a mutiny of a federal agency, which is unheard of.”

    The overseeing agency, the Transportation Security Administration, said in a statement provided after deadline that claims that air marshals are doing menial tasks were “entirely inaccurate and does not reflect the critical and professional law enforcement role these officers perform.”

    The administration’s order would leave just 1-in-100 U.S. flights with federal agents on board, one-eighth of its normal coverage.

    It is the first time amid the 20-month-long unresolved border crisis that federal employees have formally turned against President Joe Biden and his Senate-confirmed officials at the Department of Homeland Security . The air marshals are willing to risk everything for how the government is risking national security, Londo explained.

    “Morale is so destroyed from this,” said Londo, whose organization serves as an association, not a union. “I’ve never seen anything like this.”

    Air marshals would be risking their jobs as inflation rages and the United States potentially heads into a recession.

    The air marshals, who are federal law enforcement agents within the Transportation Security Administration’s Federal Air Marshal Service, have been tasked with menial jobs at the border.

    Just this week, air marshals pulled from planes and sent to the border were “heating up sandwiches,” driving immigrants in custody to the hospital and waiting inside for hours on hospital watch, and effectively babysitting adults who are already in confined spaces, Londo said.

    “These highly skilled [air marshals] are being made to perform mainly non-law enforcement civilian humanitarian duties,” Londo wrote in the letter obtained first by the Washington Examiner.

    In mid-2021, the Federal Air Marshal Service asked for volunteers willing to go to the southern border for 30 days and help process the growing number of illegal immigrants in custody. Earlier this month, the government changed course and announced that the deployments would become mandatory.

    The air marshals fought the order but only got the length of the deployment dropped from 30 days to 21 days. DHS ordered a minimum of 150 more air marshals to the border on Dec. 7. At present, dozens plan to refuse and are preparing to be fired for taking the stand.

    “Air marshals are deployed two to three nights a week. Now they’re taking them away, and their marriages are already on the rocks,” Londo said.

    On Monday, the Federal Air Marshal Service’s Miami Field Office announced the deployments would now last indefinitely. Air marshals have already been sent to El Paso, Laredo, and McAllen, Texas; San Diego; and Tucson and Yuma, Arizona.

    The council sent a letter to Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas as well as the TSA and Federal Air Marshal Service on Monday, warning them that the order is self-defeating because it makes the skies less safe for people traveling during the busiest time of the year.

    “According to the Federal Aviation Administration year to date there have been 2,178 reports of unruly passengers, 767 investigations initiated, and 517 enforcement actions taken. Not to mention the fact there has been two attempted attacks on our homeland since 9-11 during the holiday season,” the letter states. “Your policy has resulted in a complete loss of confidence in Secretary Mayorkas, FAM Director Stevenson, and Administrator Pekoske’s ability to lead DHS/TSA/FAMS.”

    Londo pointed in his letter to recent violent passenger attacks midflight that involved weapons smuggled aboard the plane, as well as a cockpit breach on a Southwest Airlines flight last week.

    The National Association of Police Organizations issued a statement in support of the air marshals and warned that they were already in a bad place before the deployments became mandatory.

    “The Federal Air Marshal Service is understaffed and covering the fewest number of flights since before September 11, 2001,” said NAPO, a coalition of more than 1,000 police departments across the country. “We strongly question the decision by the Department of Homeland Security to divert much-needed aviation security to the southern border especially as we enter the busiest travel season of the year, particularly as a Federal emergency has not been declared at the border.”

    Behind the scenes, the council is working with the DHS Office of Inspector General to launch a federal investigation into the Biden administration’s repurposing of air marshals.

    Hondo accused TSA Administrator David Pekoske and Federal Air Marshal Service Director Tirrell Stevenson of “fraud, waste, and abuse of authority and violations of federal law” in a letter sent to DHS Inspector General Joseph Cuffari exclusively obtained by the Washington Examiner.

    In the Nov. 18 letter, Hondo called on the inspector general to investigate the legality of the air marshal deployments. He wrote that the only exception to pulling air marshals from their jobs would be in the case of a declared national emergency, which has not been declared. Even if an emergency were declared, air marshals would only be permitted to assist other agencies with transportation-related matters.

    The Biden administration has refused to call the record-high number of noncitizens being encountered at the border over the past 20 months a crisis. Border agents have encountered approximately 4 million people attempting to illegally enter the U.S. since Biden took office — more than the Obama administration’s eight years in office.

    The TSA defended the operation in a statement provided to the Washington Examiner early Wednesday.

    “Federal Air Marshals are performing law enforcement support to the mission at the southwest border,” according to a TSA spokesman. “The TSA Federal Air Marshal Service is a highly valued member of the DHS law enforcement team and has an ever-expanding role within DHS, working closely with other U.S. and international law enforcement agencies to safeguard the nation’s transportation systems.”

    According to Radio Free Europe, von der Leyen’s entourage was holding off on the trip until the last minute, suggesting that Brussels was also mulling over the right approach. In the end, the EU appears to have decided that such a trip would not have looked good from a PR point of view, especially if the president of the Commission had “celebrated” the availability of the multi-billion EU funds in the company of the Hungarian leader, who has been criticized by European liberals for what they claim to be illiberal policies and systemic corruption.

    The approval of the Hungarian recovery plan is likely to draw criticism from the European Parliament in particular, as the European Commission is set to publish on Wednesday a negative assessment of Hungary’s performance in fulfilling measures to stop the rule-of-law sanctions mechanism launched in April against it and avoid the blocking of €7.5 billion in cohesion policy funds.

    Given that Brussels itself admittedly does not believe that EU budget money is in safe hands in Hungary, it might be asked why it is approving the recovery plan. However, the Commission argues that the EU accepting the plan does not mean payments will be made, and Hungary would have to meet no fewer than 27 tough conditions by March 31, 2023, in order to receive the first installment.”

    The House of Representatives has passed a legislation that will force rail unions to accept the terms offered to help them by the Biden administration. On Wednesday, in a 290-137 vote, House lawmakers voted to pass the legislation. Those in favor of the legislation say that Congress had to act in order to prevent a strike and give workers what they are asking for. Those against the bill argued that it is not Congress’ place and that they were only voting on it because Joe Biden failed at the negotiation table.

    The lower chamber weighed the resolution after top congressional leaders met with Joe Biden on Tuesday. Biden asked Congress to adopt the tentative agreement between railroad workers and operators after he failed to reach terms with all 12 unions. Despite calling himself the most pro-union president, Biden begged Congress to step in to prevent a strike, as a shutdown would be detrimental to the economy.

    The September deal allowed for raises and bonuses retroactive to 2020. However, workers are stunned at the lack of paid sick time. Democrats, such as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), who claim to be pro-union, are now backing the move to force the agreement on the rail workers.

    “It’s not everything I would like to see. I think that we should have paid sick leave,” Pelosi said. “Every country, every developed country in the world has it. We don’t. But nonetheless, we we have an improved situation. And again, I don’t like going against the ability of the unions to strike, but weighing the equities, we must avoid a strike.”

    The legislation will now move to the Senate. Senators will have little time to act as rail workers are vowing to strike on December 9th.”
