Amityville: The House, the Horror and the Hoax

Thirty miles outside of New York City, nestled in the Long Island town of Amityville, stands the house forever linked to the Amityville Horror phenomenon. On November 13, 1974, the estate was the scene of mass murder. It was the middle of the night, when 23-year-old Ronald DeFeo Jr. killed six of his relatives with a .35 caliber rifle while they were asleep: parents Louise and Ronald DeFeo Sr., siblings 18-year-old Dawn, 13-year-old Allison, 12-year-old Marc, and nine-year-old John Matthew.

Though he confessed to his deeds, DeFeo’s defense would later attempt to enter an insanity plea. DeFeo claimed he was guided by malevolent voices in his head and couldn’t control his behavior.  It was this claim, and the murders themselves, that spawned the notion that 112 Ocean Avenue itself was haunted — and that the DeFeo family as a whole were victims of the house. However, a look at DeFeo Jr.’s life provides an alternative reading of the events.

With an abusive father and passive mother, the boy’s troubled childhood led to substance abuse as an adult. He not only lashed out at his father but once even threatened him with a gun. The parents hoped letting him live at home and with a weekly stipend would help. DeFeo Jr. barely held a job.

On the day in question, DeFeo Jr. left work and went to a bar. He kept calling his home to no avail and complained to patrons about it. He eventually left, only to return at 6:30 a.m. — when he yelled, “You got to help me! I think my mother and father are shot!”

Authorities found all six family members dead in their beds, shot with a rifle at around 3:15 a.m., and positioned on their stomachs. There was no sign of struggle, nor that they were drugged. No local reports of gunshots were logged, with only the DeFeo dog barking away.

DeFeo Jr. changed his alibi several times, from claiming he was at the bar during the time of the murders to mob hitman Louis Falini killing his family while forcing DeFeo Jr. to watch. He eventually confessed that he gunned his own family down, and stood trial on Oct. 14, 1975.

Though attorney William Weber tried to enter an insanity plea, the prosecution argued DeFeo Jr. was a mere drug addict who was well aware of what he was doing that night. He was convicted on six counts of second-degree murder and sentenced to six concurrent sentences of 25 years to life.

But it wasn’t until after the Lutz family moved into the house in December of 1975 that the purported haunting of the Amityville Horror house allegedly set in. George and Kathy Lutz believed their purchase of the 4,000-square-foot house at $80,000 was a steal — but moved out 28 days later after terrifying incidents allegedly forced them to flee.

From green slime purportedly oozing from the walls and eyes peering into the house from outside to foul odors and Kathy allegedly levitating in bed, it was a rather disquieting month. George claimed he woke up at 3:15 a.m. each night — the exact time of death of the DeFeo family members.

Jay Anson’s 1977 book The Amityville Horror was based on these reported events and served as the foundation for the 1979 film of the same name, which was remade in 2005. The book became a bestseller, while the film grew into a classic — and legions of horror aficionados flocked to town.

The Lutz family claimed they experienced supernatural activity.  George Lutz had a history of dabbling in the occult, so they asked a priest came to bless the house. The priest allegedly heard a voice scream “Get out!”.  He told the Lutzes to never sleep in that particular room in the house.  Other paranormal activity they experienced: a nearby garage door opening and closing; an invisible spirit knocking a knife down in the kitchen; a pig-like creature with red eyes staring down at George and his son Daniel from a window; George waking up to wife Kathy levitating off their bed; sons Daniel and Christopher also levitating together in their beds.

Anson’s book used 45 hours of the family’s recorded interviews as a basis. And one of the three Lutz children, Christopher Quaratino, confirmed that the hauntings happened. However, he also said that the events were exaggerated by his stepfather, George Lutz. After telling their story, George and Kathy took a lie detector test to prove their innocence. They passed; but the couple was bogged down in legal and financial issues, which prompted skeptics to believe they had the motive to create a fantastical story to sell to the public.

The Lutz’s former lawyer William Weber — who fell out with them over money issues — came out in 1979, claiming the three of them came up with the horror story “over many bottles of wine.”   Son Daniel, who lives a quiet life in Queens, New York as a stonemason, claims the house ruined his life and that he continues to have nightmares to this day.

Murderer Ron, who’s still alive and serving six 25-year-life sentences at a New York correctional facility, claimed he heard voices urging him to kill his family. He has since changed his story multiple times.

Ultimately, the house remains just that — a house. It has changed hands for decades, with nothing but price fluctuations and a change in address serving as notable incidents. But even after the Amityville Horror house’s address changed, the public fascination never let up. To this day, countless people still yearn to get inside the Amityville Horror house just to get a taste of its supposed terrors.

  1. Morning All!
It’s the start of October–all things creepy and spooky here for a month–well and some giggles–gotta have those!
We have this movie on dvd and it’s clearly overdone (acting wise) as was the genre at the time it was produced…but less on the special effects that are prevalent in many horror movies today.

    1. Morning, Pat! I’ve never seen this one and, frankly, I believe the haunting story was made-up. Something else I don’t understand – why concurrent sentences instead of consecutive? What does “25 to life” actually mean? ““25 to life” is an expression used to describe a life sentence given to an inmate of a prison. When the sentence is “25 to life”, it means that they will have a chance at parole after 25 years. However, they also might spend their life in prison.” Why should he get even a chance at parole? Why only 2nd degree? Our judicial systems is royally screwed up, IMO!

In case you hadn’t guessed…..I’m in a mood….but we did hear from Rodney, so there is that…..

YOU DID??? that’s great news about rodney & kimi!
dunno about the sentencing…I agree about the made up part–that’s why i included hoax in the title…
I think because it’s an actual house–not a movie set–where grisly murders took place lends to public fascination with it.

    The USN did it, 100%.

That part of the Baltic is practically like the Chesapeake Bay. It’s a transparent NATO aquarium. USN warships and helos spent all summer conducting underwater UUV / ROV drone “mine detection and demolition” drills. You have seen all the news stories.

If anybody else tried to explode 4 simultaneous pipeline bombs, in pairs, 20 KM apart, (NS1 and NS2), NATO and the USN would know ALL about it.

A medium-size fish cannot swim in and out of the Baltic (50′ controlling depth) without being recorded on audio, video, hydro/pressure etc.

Russia has bare transit rights [during peacetime] from Kaliningrad and St. Pete, but that is it. Every Russian ship going in and out of the Baltic is virtually escorted front and rear. The Western Baltic is a small lake surrounded by NATO nations, plus NATO-cooperating Sweden and Finland.

    The USN did it. Period.

I take no joy in saying that, as a long-ago frogman who locked in and out of submerged nuclear submarines, rode in mini-subs (SDVS), trained with every conceivable kind of underwater demolition, (too long to list), and dived with air bottles, mixed gas, and pure oxygen (for no bubbles). IOW, I know whereof I speak.

To believe otherwise than the USN did this is like believing the Russians snuck up the Thames River in a mini mystery sub to blow up 4 key British infrastructure sites, at the same time, and got away undetected.

(I will allow that the USN may have “sheep-dipped” some Poles in on the operation, to keep them quiet forever, but IMHO, it was a USN operation.)

  4. “EXCERPT: “A federal judge ruled Friday that Georgia’s election integrity practices requiring voter ID and citizenship checks are legal and constitutional, rejecting arguments of racism and voter suppression from the state’s Democrat nominee for governor, Stacey Abrams, just weeks before Election Day.

U.S. District Judge Steve C. Jones, an Obama appointee, issued the ruling, after a lengthy trial, handing a major victory to Gov. Brian Kemp and Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, who aggressively defended the state’s election integrity laws from a legal assault by Abrams voter group Fair Fight Inc. and other liberals.

“Although Georgia’s election system is not perfect, the challenged practices violate neither the constitution nor the VRA,” Jones ruled in a 288-page decision. “As the Eleventh Circuit notes, federal courts are not ‘the arbiter[s] of disputes’ which arise in elections; it [is] not the federal court’s role to ‘oversee the administrative details of a local election.'”

“Having held a non-jury trial and considered the evidence and arguments of the parties, for the foregoing reasons, the Court finds IN FAVOR of Defendants and against Plaintiffs on all remaining Counts of Plaintiffs’ Second Amended Complaint,” the court concluded.

You can read the ruling here. [PDF at link]

The ruling was a major blow to Abrams just weeks before voters choose the next governor, and Republicans who squared off against her in the courtroom quickly embraced the win to remind voters Abrams’ prior claims of stolen elections after her 2018 campaign loss and racial voter suppression.”

    1. “Jones’ decision borrowed heavily from the U.S. Supreme Court’s landmark ruling last year that upheld Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich and his state’s law outlawing ballot harvesting or trafficking. The Brnovich decision, as it is known, was cited heavily as Jones concluded the Georgia laws and regulations requiring voters to pass a citizenship check and voter ID did not violate either the Constitution or the Voting Rights Act.”

  5. Entire Article @ JustTheNews: “Pennsylvania Republican Senate candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz is rising in the polls against his Democratic rival, Lt. Gov. John Fetterman, and has nearly overcome his opponent in one recent survey.

Oz took 43% support from very likely voters, compared to 45% who backed Fetterman in an Emerson College/The Hill poll, released Thursday. While Fetterman retained a lead, the poll’s margin of error is +/- 3%, meaning the race is a statistical dead heat.

Moreover, Oz has cut his opponent’s lead in half since the poll’s August iteration, matching a general trend across other polls showing improvement for the Trump-backed health personality. The RealClearPolitics polling average showed Fetterman still leading by 4.1% on Friday. On Aug. 31, that lead was 6.5%.

Despite Oz’s gains, Pennsylvania voters still expect the lieutenant governor to claim the Senate seat by a 55% to 45% margin, per the survey. The winner will replace retiring Republican Sen. Pat Toomey, who took office after winning election in 2016, but declined to seek reelection.

The survey also asked about Fetterman’s recent stroke and Oz’s longtime residence in New Jersey.

While 59% of voters said the Democrat’s health scare would not affect their vote, 27% said it made them less likely to back him, while 14% said they were more likely to support the lieutenant governor.

Of Oz’s residence, 47% said it did not matter, while 39% said it made them less likely to back him, and 14% said it made them more likely to support the Republican.”

  6. EXCERPT: “Are Meloni’s controversial globalist alliances for the benefit of the Italians or the elites? The conservative bloc led by Giorgia Meloni has won the Italian parliamentary elections. Her Fratelli d’Italia party has taken the country by storm and become its most powerful political group. Meloni will become Italy’s first female prime minister. But, while many conservatives across the world are celebrating, Meloni’s globalist connections are ringing alarm bells.

During the Covid pandemic, Meloni supported the controversial “vaccines,” green passes (Digital ID), and the oppressive lockdowns.

    —————–
Furthermore, not only is Meloni a fervent supporter of Ukrainian President Zelensky, but also a member of the controversial Aspen Institute, reports German news site Wochenblick. On Twitter, she expressed her “loyal support” to Selenski. Previously, Meloni supported arms supplies to Zelensky. But, unfortunately, that could mean Italians must also be out in the cold for Ukraine this winter.
    —————-
Last February, she joined the Aspen Institute, an American think tank funded by powerful globalist clubs such as the Carnegie Corporation, the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and the Ford Foundation.

Billionaire George Soros’ network is also involved. Between 2003 and 2020, organizations linked to Soros transferred more than $3 billion to the Aspen Institute. Among other things, it was meant to support the promotion of pro-abortion groups. This is confusing since Meloni appears publicly to defend Christian values and is against abortion.

The Aspen Review, which reports directly to the institute, also railed that the Hungarian prime minister had turned his country into a “semi-democratic, semi-authoritarian country” and “demonized Soros with regime propaganda.” However, Meloni repeatedly refers to Orban as her alleged role model.

This year, part of the Aspen Institute called the Aspen Climate Cohort launched a 10-week training program for engineers, scientists, and economists to turn their ideas into realpolitik. A kind of Agenda 2030 summer school.”

  7. EXCERPT: “Sen. Dianne Feinstein became exasperated with staffers who tried to brief her on the upcoming stopgap funding bill she was to vote for on Thursday, telling them: ‘I don’t even know what that is.’

Feinstein, 89, has served as a Democratic senator from California for 30 years, and has voted on dozens of continuing resolutions (CR) to fund the government. According to a private conversation overheard by Insider, Feinstein struggled to get her bearings as she headed into an elevator that brings lawmakers to the Senate floor to vote. ‘This is a vote on the continuing resolution. Do you have any questions about it?’ a male staffer asked the senator, before she snapped at him.

The vote to keep the government funded through Dec. 16 passed the Senate 72-25. Democrats on Capitol Hill have in recent years expressed concern over the Senate’s oldest member and her mental fitness to serve. Feinstein, had long been renowned in Washington for an issue-focused passion and quick wit — but one Democratic lawmaker told the San Francisco Chronicle there was ‘no trace of that’ anymore last spring.

Four other senators — three of them Democrats — as well as three of her former staffers fear that Feinstein is ‘mentally unfit to serve’ and that her memory is ‘rapidly deteriorating.’ People who have worked with the California lawmaker for years now say she has difficulty recognizing them and repeats the same few talking points. Talk has been floated of persuading her to resign before her current term ends in 2024.

A staffer from another senator’s office is quoted as saying they’ve seen their boss go out of their way to re-introduce themselves to Feinstein before speaking to her. After the Chronicle report came out Feinstein told members of the editorial board she was ‘rather puzzled’ that her cognition had been called into question.”

  9. The vengeance of Bill Gates perhaps???

EXCERPT: “A viral disease has killed nearly 100,000 cows and buffaloes in India and sickened over 2 million more. The outbreak has triggered devastating income losses for cattle farmers since the disease not only results in deaths but can also lead to decreased milk production, emaciated animals and birth issues.

The disease, called lumpy skin disease, is spread by insects that drink blood, such as mosquitoes and ticks. Infected cows and buffaloes get fevers and develop lumps on their skin.

Farmers have experienced severe losses from extreme weather events over the past year: a record-shattering heat wave in India reduced wheat yields in April, insufficient rainfall in the east shriveled parched winter crops such as pulses, and an unusually intense September rainfall has damaged rice in the north.

And now, the virus has spread to at least 15 states, with the number of cow and buffalo deaths nearly doubling in three weeks, the Press Trust of India news agency reported. The contagion spreading among cattle is having a disproportionate impact on small farmers, many of whom rear cattle for milk, said Devinder Sharma, an agriculture policy expert in northern Chandigarh city.

“It’s a serious, serious issue and this [disease] … has been growing since the last couple of years,” he said, adding that the government figures were likely an undercount of the actual death toll from the disease.

The first cases in South Asia were detected in 2019, and it has since spread to India, China and Nepal. It was first recorded in Zambia in 1929 and has extended through Africa and more recently to parts of Europe.”

  10. Retired Colonel Doug MacGregor said no-one believes Putin bombed his own gas line. Putin has decided that no-one in Washington wants to negotiate with him and he knows that Washington is ultimately in control. So he’s decided that in response he’s got to escalate the military operation. People aren’t aware of it in the West but the Russian forces in Ukraine have always been outnumbered since they first entered Ukraine. That’s going to change rather dramatically in the near future and I suspect that those bombers that you referred to, that carry both conventional and nuclear weapons – they will have conventional arms – and those bombers are going to be used in the escalation that we are about to witness in Ukraine. I think he’s going to settle this dispute on Ukraine on terms that are acceptable to Russia that we may not like.

Other than Poland, no-one in NATO is interested in going to war with Russia – if we persist on this line, we will see NATO dissolve and fragment.” [NF: and that would be a bad thing?]

  11. EXCERPT: “If the phrase, “More Cowbell” does not resonate with you, take a moment to watch this Saturday Night Live classic clip. You will then understand why I chose the title.

As anticipated, Vladimir Putin spoke to his nation and the world announcing the incorporation of four former Ukraine oblasts–Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporhyzhia and Kherson–into the Russian Federation. The United States and its NATO allies immediately denounced this as illegal and vowed not to accept the action. More Cowbell. And then, they really upped the ante–more sanctions.

Does that strike you as insane? The United States and NATO supposedly emptied their sanction warehouse on Russia in the immediate aftermath of the start of the Russia’s Special Military Operation on 24 February. How did that work out? Russia got stronger and Europe is in the process of collapsing economically. More cowbell.
    ————–
So, let me see if I have this correct. The United States wants to destabilize Putin’s ability to remain in office. To accomplish this one would think you would take actions that rally support for the western position. What the United States and NATO are doing is punishing average Russians–the very same people the outsiders need to recruit to rise up against Putin. Would you be surprised to learn that this heightens animosity between the west and the Russian people? Would you be surprised to learn that this increases support for Vladimir Putin at home? Nothing like a foreign threat to get the average folk on your side if you are leading the country that is under attack.

If you want a nice, concise overview of the history that has brought the world to this point–i.e., the precipice of nuclear war–I encourage you to read Moon of Alabama’s latest (click here).

Vladimir Putin is not a loquacious guy. He is pretty direct, to the point and not known for opaque utterances. Putin has made it clear where he and Russia stand:
    ————–
The United States, NATO and Ukraine are in for a rude awakening. I believe that Putin is going to give the west a few days to contemplate his stark warnings and take the necessary step to start winding down their support for Ukraine. But the west is insisting–MORE COWBELL.

    Here are Putin’s likely responses:

Deploy the Russian Army to Donetsk and complete the destruction of Ukrainian forces there.
Turn off the power and lights in Ukraine.
Attack and destroy all Ukrainian military bases still intact in Ukraine.
Attack and destroy Ukraine’s command centers.
Attack and destroy transportation grids used to supply American and NATO weapons to the Ukrainian Army.
Take control of Nikolaev and Odessa.
Take control of the Transnistria in Moldova.

The U.S. and NATO strident threats against Russia will be exposed as hollow rhetoric. Russia is now William Munny and his army is marching into Ukraine’s saloon:

I am going to put them out one at a time–with the stem cut off and see if anything eats them. if they do, i will put another out and so on. if they don’t I will make jack o lanterns and amuse myself…LOL

“You said it right, Big Media is going to team up with Big Tech, and they’re going to come after conservative outlets getting the truth out there like you guys. Remember, the cartels that form get to define and determine the terms on who gets in,” said Jordan.

“So, do you think the New York Times and Washington Post and Google are going to want Breitbart to be in? In fact, Lina Khan who’s over at the FTC and who is going to administer all this, she’s said of Breitbart, ‘they’re out there putting out disinformation.’”

“This is all in line with what we saw in the runup to the 2020 election, where it wasn’t the FTC, but it was the FBI going to Big Tech and teaming up… to limit information to the people. This whole alliance between Big Government, Big Tech, and Big Media to keep we the people from getting the facts and the truth is a problem, and I see this [the JCPA] in that same vein.”

Jordan explained how some Republicans were swayed by lobbying efforts, which misrepresented the bill as support for struggling local newspapers as opposed to the national conglomerates that largely own them.

“Some of them get in by ‘oh, we want to help your small town newspaper,’ you know, the days when the newspaper actually covered the news and wasn’t just propaganda… So I think there’s some nostalgic feeling for that.”

An Afghan national, brought to the United States as part of President Joe Biden’s massive resettlement operation over the last year, has been charged with violently attacking and sexually assaulting a 12-year-old boy in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Shah Mahmood Selab, 35, was charged last week in federal court for alleged child sex crimes. An exclusive report by Fox News’s Adam Shaw reveals that Selab was brought to the U.S. by the Biden administration as part of a resettlement operation following the withdrawal of U.S. Armed Forces from Afghanistan in August 2021.

On August 21, according to federal prosecutors, Saleb approached the 12-year-old boy at a park near a middle school and started asking personal questions before showing him sexual photos and videos on his cellphone.

From there, prosecutors allege Selab touched the boy inappropriately and when the boy tried to walk away, he was chased by Selab who punched him in the face a number of times. Selab asked the boy to get into his car and offered him $20 to touch him.

The boy ran from Selab and tried to call the police, locking himself in a nearby public bathroom stall. Selab again followed the boy into the bathroom and pulled him out of the stall. That is when Selab, prosecutors allege, locked the bathroom door to keep the boy from leaving and started kissing him while slipping a $20 bill in the boy’s hand.

Prosecutors also said Selab tried to force the boy to touch him. When a person knocked on the door of the bathroom, the boy was able to escape.

The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency confirmed to Fox News’s Adam Shaw that Selab arrived as part of Biden’s Afghan resettlement operation:

“This is a terrible crime, enabled by the complete lack of vetting and transparency in the wake of Joe Biden’s Afghanistan retreat,” Herrell said in a statement to Fox News Digital. “Our government should be protecting the families of New Mexico, not importing twisted individuals who prey on children. That is why last year I pushed for thorough vetting of migrants that the Biden administration has brought to our communities, and why I continue to fight for accountability.” [Emphasis added]

In a statement to Fox News Digital on Friday, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) said Selab was paroled into the U.S. on Nov. 18, 2021 at Philadelphia International Airport. ICE has now lodged a detainer on Selab, who the agency confirmed was a 35-year-old Afghan national, after his arrest. [Emphasis added]

Selab’s case is not the first among Biden’s Afghans. In January, a 24-year-old Afghan was convicted of molesting a three-year-old girl on a Virginia military base after having been brought to the U.S. by the Biden administration.

Similarly, a 19-year-old Afghan national was charged in October 2021 with raping an 18-year-old girl in a Montana hotel room. The man entered an Alford plea in the case in July.

In separate cases, two Afghan men were charged with child sex crimes and domestic abuse quickly after having been brought to the U.S. by the Biden administration.

Biden opened a “humanitarian parole” pipeline that has resettled more than 86,000 Afghans in American communities, many of whom were not interviewed in person.

Reports and federal investigators have consistently warned that thousands were allowed to enter the U.S. without proper vetting and hundreds pose a national security risk.

For instance, in August, a whistleblower accused the Biden administration of resettling nearly 400 Afghans in American communities who are listed in federal databases as “potential threats to national security” — leading the Department of Defense Inspector General to open an investigation into the claims.

        1. That’s what they call the young Afghan boys that “entertain” the men – they dress up with make-up. In some cases, the boys themselves want to be groomed and they are oftentimes sold by their families – if they can please one of the higher ranking men, he will take him as his steady boy and he’ll have a good life. They basically function as girls.

The practice was banned under the Taliban, who implemented a strict form of sharia law. However, “it has crept back and is now widespread, flourishing in the cities, including the capital, Kabul”, according to The Guardian.

In an article for Foreign Policy magazine, US Department of State analyst Chris Mondlock says the so-called bacha boys – many of whom have been kidnapped or bought from their families – are forced to perform as dancers at private parties and weddings. They are “often made to dress as females [and] wear make-up”, he adds.”

          1. I don’t see him much any more – I think the big gray and white Tom ran him off. Haven’t seen him for 3 or 4 days now. When I see him, I take food out for him but I don’t leave food out – it was bringing ALL the stray cats in the neighborhood. No thank you!

              1. I heard them get into a squabble a couple of weeks ago and saw him a couple of days later with no wounds. But the big guy was eating the food so I don’t put it out now until I see LM. I hope he is ok, too, but we’ve got a LOT of stray cats around.

  19. EXCERPT: “ROME — One of the important under-reported stories of Italy’s recent national election was the decisive rout of Emma Bonino, whose claim to fame is having personally performed some 10,000 abortions.

Bonino’s +Europe party took less than 3 percent of the popular vote, below the bottom threshold necessary to permit a presence in the national parliament, spurring her to demand a recount. The center-right coalition won by a healthy margin, with populist Giorgia Meloni of the Brothers of Italy party slated to become the nation’s first female prime minister.

“There are those who regret the result a little late and in a somewhat hypocritical way, in my opinion, because they knew exactly where they were going,” Bonino said. “Our request for a recount is necessary and due.”

Curiously, Bonino blamed mainstream media for the electoral rout, despite the media’s well-known support of progressive, pro-European parties such as her own. Polls in recent weeks had suggested +Europe easily had enough votes to maintain a presence in parliament.

“I emphasize the negative role of the media and in particular of state or private TV,” Bonino said, insisting that “the level playing field has not been respected by anyone.”

Bonino has boasted of having performed more than 10,000 illegal abortions during her career, devising an abortion machine from a bicycle pump and a pickle jar. The founder of the Center for Information on Sterilization and Abortion (CISA), Bonino agitated for the legalization of abortion in Italy, which was finally achieved in 1978.

A protégée of George Soros, Bonino built a career as a parliamentarian for the Radical Party and later became a European commissioner and Italy’s foreign minister.”

  20. Entire Article @ BB: “On Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” Iranian journalist and activist Masih Alinejad stated that she doesn’t have “any hope in the Biden administration” or the Western world after “They abandoned my sisters in Afghanistan.”

Alinejad stated, “Across the world, people are watching that, wow, these fearless women [are] walking towards the morality police and they’re ready. And TikTok generations are being killed right now in the streets. So, that is what scares the regime, and I always say that this — for the Islamic Republic, for the Taliban, this compulsory hijab is like the Berlin Wall. Now, we are tearing this wall down and the Islamic Republic won’t exist.”

Host Bill Maher responded, “I hope you’re right. But, I mean, you mentioned Afghanistan. We pulled out of Afghanistan. The Taliban took over and it went right back to the bad old days.”

Alinejad then said, “That’s why I don’t have any hope in the Biden administration. I don’t have any hope in Western countries. They abandoned my sisters in Afghanistan. But guess who came to the streets to support the Iranian women? The first group who came to the streets were women of Afghanistan. Can you believe that? The western feminists who actually went to my country, wore a hijab, they bowed to the Taliban.”
