Tucked away in the rolling hills of Potter County is one of the oddest natural wonders in Pennsylvania: The Coudersport Ice Mine. The mine is located on a hillside, shielded from the sun and wind. Ice begins to form in April and continues to build up as the weather warms. Then, starting in September, the ice begins to melt, with only a residual amount remaining during the winter months.
The Coudersport Ice Mine is actually an ice cave located in Sweden Township, Pennsylvania. Ice appears in various shapes and forms, often as huge icicles measuring from 1 to 3 feet (0.91 m) in thickness, and from 15 to 25 feet in length; the ice is generally clear and sparkling. Discovered in 1894, the cave is about 40 feet deep, about 8 feet wide, and 10 feet long. The cave was open to the public for many decades but closed in 1990. New Ownership and renovations have led to the reopening of the mine to the general public.

The discovery of the mine was not a complete accident. A farm owner in the area, John Dodd, had heard umpteen stories about a Native American seen carrying silver ore out of a mysterious cave on a mountainside in Sweden Valley, just east of Coudersport. Dozens of prospectors had thoroughly searched the mountain and came away empty handed. So, in the summer of 1894, with curiosity finally getting the best of him, Dodd set out to give it a try.
He asked a farm-hand, Billy O’Neil, for help. He knew Billy was handy with a divining rod and immediately Billy went searching. The divining rod, Billy said, “told him” where to find the vein of silver ore. He began to dig. On a sweltering 90-degree day, Billy’s shovel hit something hard.
Only it wasn’t silver. It was ice! He eventually uncovered a shaft of ice, some 30 feet deep, 10 feet long and 8 feet wide. Inside, they found not only large pieces of ice, but also human remains, a petrified fish, and fossils. While the search failed to yield the much-fabled silver, it resulted in one of the most fascinating finds in Pennsylvania history.
With winter approaching, Dodd returned to the hole in the ground and was amazed to see ice melting and warm air coming from the shaft. Winter passed. Returning to the mountain in late spring, Dodd was dumbfounded to see ice reforming. As summer progressed, it seemed the hotter the weather, the thicker the ice in the shaft!
Ice in summer. Gone in winter. How does this happen?
The mountainside consists of loose rock. Air currents travel through the mountain rocks and the mine shaft. Cold air is drawn in during the winter, forcing out the warmer air, which was drawn in during summer and the ice melts. In the spring, warmer air enters the mountain forcing the colder air out and ice forms. The cycle continues.

As years went by and word of the discovery got out, the science community took notice. In the meantime, the Ice Mine was on its way to becoming a prime tourist attraction. It’s reported that scientists from the National Geographic Society arrived at the Mine in the mid-1930s. One of them dubbed it “the eighth wonder of the world.” Despite initial skepticism, they departed Potter County saying the Ice Mine was indeed “a modern miracle”, giving credence to the “eighth wonder” label. Today, some 80 years later, The Ice Mine’s fascination continues among scientists and scholars.

What an interesting open!!! I’m so glad you answered the question of why on the summer/winter thing. We’ve got sunshine and it only got down to 59 last night. A couple of days in the mid-to-high 70’s, then it drops…..supposedly….we’ll see.

I thought it interesting, that if you went there in the winter–it would all be melted and if you were a liberal, you’d be screaming about climate change…but the ice is there in the summer—
there are probably other places like this.

Corrupt Democrats and RINOs (including 40 point loser Liz Cheney) passed the “Presidential Election Reform Act” in the House, making it “impossible” for a Vice President to cure Election Fraud and Malfeasance. These same people have been screaming that Mike Pence had NO power to do the right thing, and send it back to the States to investigate widespread Election Fraud. It’s now clear he could, and should, have done it, otherwise why would they need new law? Also—bill may be unConstitutional!

Oh for the days when Donald Trump wasn’t taking the presidential daily brief — and didn’t know highly classified information that he could give to the Russians. But a bit bizarrely, Trump’s reported disclosure of Islamic State plans to two Russian officials during an Oval Office visit last week wasn’t illegal.
If anyone else in the government, except possibly the vice president, had revealed such classified information that person would be going to prison. The president, however, has inherent constitutional authority to declassify information at will. And that means the federal laws that criminalize the disclosure of classified secrets don’t apply to him.
If this doesn’t make much sense to you, I feel your pain. To understand the legal structure of classification and declassification requires a brief journey into the constitutional law of separation of powers. That’s not always especially fun. But at this juncture in U.S. history, it’s essential. Not since Richard Nixon’s administration has separation of powers been so central to the fate of the republic.
The authority to label facts or documents as classified rests with the president in his capacity as a commander in chief. Or at least that’s what the U.S. Supreme Court said in a 1988 case, Department of the Navy v. Egan.
Justice Harry Blackmun, who wrote the opinion, said that the executive’s “authority to classify and control access to information bearing on national security … flows primarily from this constitutional investment of power in the President and exists quite apart from any explicit congressional grant.”
Blackmun’s idea that the president has an inherent right to decide who gets access to classified information seems to imply the converse: that the president has the inherent authority to declassify information, too. Although there’s no case on this point, scholars took that view during the years of the George W. Bush administration, when the president was thought to have declassified some information that was leaked to the news media by White House aide I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby.
It makes sense. If it is up to the president to decide what can’t be disclosed, it should be up to him to decide what can be.
That still leaves the question of whether the president would need to issue a formal order of declassification before revealing the information. According to the report in the Washington Post, Trump pretty clearly didn’t do that: He just made a judgment that he wanted to pass on the information to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Ambassador Sergey Kislyak. Indeed, it seems altogether conceivable that he made the decision in the moment, without thinking through its practical consequences, much less the classification status of the information. (White House National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster denied the Post’s report Monday night, saying, “At no time were intelligence sources or methods discussed, and the president did not disclose any military operations that were not already publicly known.”)
It would be nice to say that, just as the president authorizes classification through a formal executive order, he should have to issue a similar statement to declassify. But that’s probably too formalistic. In constitutional terms, an executive order is just a presidential order reduced to writing for the benefit of the rest of the executive branch. The president likely can’t be bound by an executive order, whether his or an order from the proceeding president.
If you’re following closely, you’ll have noticed an anomaly: The president can classify and declassify. But the president can’t send people to prison for disobeying his order. That requires a federal law passed by Congress, and a conviction before a judge. Thus, under the separation of powers, the president has inherent authority to fire his own employees for disclosing classified information, but lacks the power to punish them criminally without Congress and the courts.
That law exists: 18 U.S. Code Section 798, if you care to look it up. It makes it a federal crime to communicate “classified information” to an “unauthorized person.” The catch is that the law defines classified information as information determined classified by a U.S. government agency, and similarly defines an unauthorized person as someone not determined authorized by the executive branch.
That puts Trump in the clear insofar as he has an inherent authority to declare information unclassified.
The law goes on to criminalize any disclosure of classified information that’s “prejudicial to the safety or interest of the United States or for the benefit of any foreign government to the detriment of the United States.” At first blush that language would seem arguably to apply to Trump’s disclosure. But once again, the clause depends on disclosure of classified information — and Trump can simply say he declassified the information when he gave it to the Russians.
A twist with potential legal relevance might arise if someone else — like the leaker of this story — repeated classified information after Trump effectively declassified it. That person would have a compelling claim to be exempt from criminal prosecution also. This might matter if Trump decides to go after the leaker criminally. 1
So go ahead, be shocked by Trump’s disclosure. I know I am. Whether it reflects a studied or instinctive pro-Russian position or simply unthinking bad judgment, it seems to be a highly unusual and poor presidential move. But it’s protected by the constitutional power that comes with getting elected president of the United States.

Cayler Ellingson of North Dakota, a great Republican Patriot with an unlimited future ahead, was struck by a truck and killed. The person that did this was a deranged Democrat maniac who was angry that Cayler was a Republican. The Media doesn’t want to cover this horrible event because of the politics involved. If it were a MAGA Republican that drove that truck, it would have been the biggest of all stories. We LOVE Cayler, AND WILL NEVER FORGET! Warmest condolences to Cayler’s family & friends.

great idea…but since they make the laws, they won’t do it…
entire article
The Constitution guaranteed equality under the law. There is no distinction between Congress and the people.
Currently, it is illegal to lie to members of Congress while giving testimony. But it is not illegal for them to lie to those they question, or the American people as a whole. To have true equality under the law, let every congressman be placed under oath from the moment Congress opens until both bodies adjourn.
It should not be legal for them to lie while expecting those they question to speak the truth.
Adam Schiff, chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, claimed during the first impeachment of then-president Trump to have evidence of Trump’s collusion with Russia. He clearly lied.
The fact that the chairman of the Intelligence Committee claimed he possessed information from his privileged position led people to believe he did, in fact, have classified material that Trump had colluded with Russia.
Those of us who paid attention early on already knew that the false dossier was from Hillary Clinton’s campaign. It was already known to be her opposition research, of which Schiff and others were well aware.
Had Schiff been under oath, would he have made the same assertions while in session, or only casually lied while giving interviews? There is no way to know for certain. If placed under oath at the time, it is possible his wording would have been far less clear.
Had he been under oath, he could have been charged with perjury for every lie he told. It did become known that he was aware there was nothing behind the claims he made. He lied in his official capacity as a congressman and continued to lie afterward when granting interviews with establishment media.
Per George Khoury, Esq.:
Perjury and lying to the federal government are both crimes that could land a person in some serious legal trouble. If convicted of either crime, a person could be looking at up to five years in prison. This means that if a person is found to have lied during a congressional hearing or investigation, or simply lied to an FBI or other federal agent, actual jail time could result.
Would Schiff have risked five years in prison for each lie he told for cheap political gain? Or for that matter, any member of Congress? Given how many lied to the American people while in session during both of the sham impeachments, and considering that then-president Trump never did have his promised day to defend himself and call witnesses as required by congressional rules, it is clear a law is needed to bring equality for perjury.
Congress should be placed under oath. That maximum sentence for the American people should be the only option available. Five years for every count of perjury is fitting for those who write the laws.
Cleaning up Washington means being willing to bring charges against congressmen in both chambers. I have no problem with any member of Congress who lies ending up in prison for five years or the rest of his life, given enough counts of perjury.
The next Republican president, be it Trump or anyone else, should demand equality under the law for Congress and demand they all be sworn in while in session.

EXCERPTS: “BUCKS COUNTY, Pennsylvania (LifeSiteNews) – A well-known pro-life author, sidewalk counselor, and father of seven was the latest victim of a U.S. Department of Justice-sponsored SWAT raid and arrest — for supposed “FACE Act” violations — at his rural home as his children looked on “screaming.”
Mark Houck is the founder and president of The King’s Men, which promotes healing for victims of pornography addiction and promotes Christian virtues among men in the United States and Europe. According to his wife Ryan-Marie, who spoke with LifeSiteNews, he also drives two hours south to Philadelphia every Wednesday to sidewalk council for six to eight hours at two different abortion centers.
Ryan-Marie, who is a homeschool mother, explained the SWAT team of 25 to 30 FBI agents swarmed their property with around 15 vehicles at 7:05 a.m. this morning. Having quickly surrounded the house with rifles in firing position, “they started pounding on the door and yelling for us to open it.”
Before opening the door, she explained, her husband tried to calm them, saying, “‘Please, I’m going to open the door, but, please, my children are in the home. I have seven babies in the house.’ But they just kept pounding and screaming,” she said.
When he opened the door, “they had big, huge rifles pointed at Mark and pointed at me and kind of pointed throughout the house,” Ryan-Marie described. When they came in, they ordered the kids to stay upstairs. “Our staircase is open, so [the kids] were all at the top of the stairs which faces the front door, and I was on the stairs as well, coming down.” “The kids were all just screaming. It was all just very scary and traumatic,” she explained.
After asking them why they were at the house, the agents said they were there to arrest Mark. When Ryan-Marie asked for their warrant, “they said that they were going to take him whether they had a warrant or not.” When Ryan-Marie protested, saying that is kidnapping, “you can’t just come to a person’s house and kidnap them at gunpoint,” they agreed to get the warrant for her from one of their vehicles.
At this point, Mark asked her to get him a sweatshirt and his rosaries, but when she returned, they already had loaded him into a vehicle. They provided the first page of the warrant and said they were taking him to “the federal building in downtown Philadelphia.”
“After they had taken Mark, and the kids were all screaming that he was their best friend, the [FBI agents on her porch] kind of softened a bit. I think they realized what was happening. Or maybe they actually looked at the warrant,” Ryan-Marie explained. “They looked pretty ashamed at what had just happened.”
—————–
The warrant charged Mark with violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act, due to a claimed “ATTACK OF A PATIENT ESCORT.”
Ryan-Marie stated this charge comes from an incident that had already been thrown out of the District Court in Philadelphia but was somehow picked up by Merrick Garland’s Department of Justice.
On several occasions when Mark went to sidewalk counsel last year, he took his eldest son, who was only 12 at the time, she explained. For “weeks and weeks,” a “pro-abortion protester” would speak to the boy saying “crude … inappropriate and disgusting things,” such as “you’re dad’s a fag,” and other statements that were too vulgar for her to convey.
Repeatedly, Mark would tell this pro-abortion man that he did not have permission to speak to his son and please refrain from doing so. And “he kept doing it and kind of came into [the son’s] personal space” obscenely ridiculing his father. At this point, “Mark shoved him away from his child, and the guy fell back.”
“He didn’t have any injuries or anything, but he tried to sue Mark,” and the case was thrown out of court in the early summer.

Entire Article @ CHD: “Last week, The Epoch Times reported that Dr. Rochelle Walensky, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), admitted the CDC had stopped monitoring the safety of mRNA COVID-19 vaccines using a method of analysis called proportional reporting ratio (PRR). Walensky promised to resume the monitoring.
What The Epoch Times missed is that PRR is a fraudulent measure of vaccine harm, designed by the CDC expressly for the new COVID-19 vaccines to disguise the devastation the vaccines are causing. Why? Because PRR measures the pattern of different vaccine side effects, but it is indifferent to the number of people reporting those side effects.
If some completely new vaccine side effect appears with the introduction of a new vaccine, PRR will catch that. But the COVID-19 vaccines are associated with huge numbers of people reporting side effects on an unprecedented scale — and, by design, PRR misses this completely.
For example, if one person in a million dies from vaccine A and one person in a thousand dies from vaccine B, then vaccines A and B can have exactly the same PRR score! PRR is a single number that compares the variety of different side effects for a new vaccine to the variety of side effects from past vaccines.
Of course, there have been many vaccines with different side-effect profiles in the past, and it is difficult to stand out among such a diversity of profiles. Where the new mRNA vaccines do stand out is the unprecedented number of bad outcomes, including deaths, reported to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS).
Of all the reports in the 30-year history of VAERS, two-thirds of them were from the COVID-19 vaccines, introduced in the U.S. in December 2020. This includes three-fourths of all deaths reported to VAERS and three-fourths of all hospitalizations. Since the introduction of the COVID-19 vaccines, reports to VAERS have skyrocketed off the charts.
These numbers represent only the reports VAERS has processed and posted. Jessica Rose, Ph.D., has reported that VAERS is months behind in posting these reports because its staff has not increased, while its workload is roughly 50 times greater since the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccines.
The sheer volume of VAERS reports, including deaths, should have set off alarm bells within weeks after the vaccines were introduced. Reporting only PRR and not the actual count provided a convenient cover for “business as usual.”
I am grateful to Mathew Crawford for pointing this out in an article last year.”

Wanna know my reply? YOU chose to allow your child unfettered access – this is on YOU and no-one else, IMO!!! Yes, what these companies are doing is wrong but the FIRST mistake started with your permissiveness! JMO, mind you!
EXCERPT @ CHD: “Bloomberg reported:
More than 70 lawsuits have been filed this year against Meta, Snap, ByteDance’s TikTok and Google centering on claims from adolescents and young adults who say they’ve suffered anxiety, depression, eating disorders and sleeplessness as a result of their addiction to social media.
In at least seven cases, the plaintiffs are the parents of children who’ve died by suicide. The suits make claims of product liability that are new to social media but have echoes of past campaigns against tobacco companies and automobile manufacturers.
The idea that social media companies shoulder responsibility for the potential damage their products cause to young people came to the fore late in 2021 when former Meta Platforms Inc. employee Frances Haugen came forward with documents about its internal operations.
Among Haugen’s allegations was a claim that the company was knowingly preying on vulnerable young people to boost profits. Haugen revealed an internal study at Meta-owned Instagram that found evidence that many adolescent girls using the photo-sharing app were suffering from depression and anxiety around body-image issues.”

What I know for a fact is that my daughter and SIL had been listening to their son’s heartbeat for at least 2 weeks when she went in for a check-up at 12 weeks and they could no longer hear it, which told them he had died. She was scheduled for a D&C 4 days later at 8 am on a Friday – can you believe that???? 4 DAYS she had to wait! Fucking Fairfax hospital!!!!
Early in the a.m. on Friday, she began miscarrying so they went to the ER. The nurse put her in a room, on a table and left her there as their baby started coming…..no pads, no towels, nothing! SIL finally asked a nurse for something to put underneath HB and she gave him a regular-sized pad!!! By the time they finally got her in, her baby was halfway out.
It was horrible and, when I told HB I wished I had been there, she said I would have caused way too much trouble and she just wasn’t up for that. I can absolutely understand that, of course! You KNOW I’d have been raising pure hell!!! And her pussy-ass, cowardly hubby…..yeah, do NOT get me started!!!!

“MOSCOW — Military experts believe the Russian war effort may be in trouble after Vladimir Putin was seen attempting to teach polar bears how to drive tanks.
“No, no you dumb bear! You move turret, not tank!” Putin was heard shouting. “Now bear, you reach down and – did you just eat the gearshift? Bad bear!”
A military debacle from the outset, Russia’s invasion has gone from bad to worse as Ukraine’s counter-offensive has pushed the depleted Russian army backwards. “We got off to a bad start when our tanks ran out of gas twelve hours into the war,” said Russian soldier Fyodor Petrov. “How does a nation that just sells gas forget to pack gas? That is what Americans call irony, no? But now it is getting worse. Half our soldiers die from bombs, and then Putin shoots the ones that survive because he’s mad about how many already died from bombs. We are – how do you say – screwed?”
Having killed most of his remaining officers, Putin has been forced to resort to unorthodox means to fill the ranks. “I open jail cells, send prisoners to war – all dead. I invite nice Chechen terrorists to come join us – all dead too,” said a forlorn Putin. “With everyone fleeing the draft, now I have to go to the zoo and see what I can get. The mongoose is not too bad on the machine gun, actually.”
At publishing time, a frustrated Mr. Putin decided to just launch some nukes, but then realized he already had the people who knew how to launch the nukes all killed.

ATLANTA, GA. — While speaking at a public symposium on behalf of The Association of Donut Lovers, Georgia Governor Stacey Abrams claimed obesity was just numbers manufactured by her bathroom scale.
“In the same way the patriarchy invented sonograms with fake heartbeat sounds to force women to fall in love with their unborn children against their will, bathroom scales were also created by the patriarchy to control women’s bodies,” said Abrams. “Obesity isn’t real, but a system of oppression. It’s time to dismantle it!”
The incumbent governor’s remarks are already being praised as “so brave” and “super scientific” by members of the body positivity movement who have not yet succumbed to diabetes and heart disease.
“As Presidential candidate for the Democratic party, I vow to fight the lobbyists of Big Bathroom Scales and their attempts to control our beautiful bodies,” said Abrams while inhaling a tower of strawberry-sprinkled bear claws.
A representative for the Bathroom Scale industry issued a statement that read, “We’re so busted, dang it. President-elect Stacey Abrams caught us red-handed. We solemnly vow henceforth to do better to hide our secretive desires to control women’s bodies.”

OMAHA, NE — Local man John Falco received the tragic news today from his doctor that all the things happening to his body are completely normal, he’s simply 40 years old now.
“Absolutely devastating,” said Mr. Falco as his wife hugged him tearfully. “I can’t believe everyone lives like this. I figured I had like, pneumonia, hepatitis and severe rheumatoid arthritis all at the same time. Turns out this is just getting old.”
Mr. Falco initially made the appointment upon awakening to unimaginable soreness after having gone for a brisk walk the day before. “I got sore from walking. WALKING!” said a distraught Mr. Falco. “Then the next night, I ate a cheeseburger. I’m up HALF THE NIGHT with my chest burning so bad, I still believe the burger was soaked in battery acid. I’m wearing nose strips to breathe, I fell asleep on my kid’s floor halfway through Goodnight Moon, this can’t be normal!!”
Despite Mr. Falco’s many protests, Dr. Brandon Willliams repeatedly assured that everything he was experiencing was, in fact, normal. “It’s a real shocker to the young fellas,” said Dr. Williams. “They come in ready for you to prescribe some miracle cure, and all I do is welcome them to this little thing called ‘life’. Then, just to mess with them, I tell them they need a stat colonoscopy and pull out my old camcorder taped onto a broomstick. Ha! What a classic.”

EL PASO, CO — The U.S. Air Force has continued its initiative for a more inclusive, and gender-neutral military by removing all flight sticks from their planes — effective immediately.
“The flight control stick is yet another oppressive symbol of the Patriarchy and its incessant will to dominate and control others. And it’s shaped like a phallus. That’s why we are happy to announce that this outdated, bigoted relic is being removed from all aircraft today,” said General Pat Leslie (they/them) while ripping out another flight stick and stomping it to dust. “We believe in an equitable, gender-neutral environment. An environment where hate has no place in our cockpits — our erm personpits!”
This move by the Air Force has been praised by democrats and the media for making such a bold, powerful, and progressive statement with this change. Many stated that they hope to see other divisions of the U.S. military follow suit and remove gear shifters from all military ground vehicles.
According to sources, implementing the “no flight control sticks in planes” rule has not been without its challenges. Reports indicate birthing persons and prostate owners have been wrecking the planes before takeoff at twice their normal rate.
At publishing time, the U.S. Air Force received intel that they needed to scramble planes to intercept incoming hostile aircraft, but they were having trouble getting their planes to lift off while being controlled by a steering wheel.

Long but interesting….entire article @ FreeBeacon:
“Unforeseen events have created a crisis of legitimacy within the Iranian regime. For the third time in 13 years, mass protests directed against the ruling theocrats have erupted across the country. The unrest is an opportunity for the U.S. president to address the Iranian people directly and to tell them that America is on the side of freedom. President Biden, the mic is yours.
“Today, we stand with the brave citizens and the brave women of Iran who right now are demonstrating to secure their basic rights,” Biden told the U.N. General Assembly on September 21. His words of support are welcome. But more needs to be said and done.
For those of you just tuning in: Iran has switched off the cameras that monitor its declared nuclear sites. Its nuclear centrifuges spin and spin. Its agents plotted to assassinate, on American soil, a former U.S. national security adviser and former secretary of state. Last month the decades-old fatwa of Iran’s former supreme leader, the late Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, inspired a 24-year-old New Jersey man to stab author and U.S. citizen Salman Rushdie 10 times at a public event in Chautauqua, New York. Last month, Iran sent its first shipment of drones to Russian forces. The invaders and occupiers of Ukraine put the weapons to use.
These latest protests began after the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini while in state custody. The “morality police” had arrested and detained her for the crime of wearing an “improper hijab.” Widespread disgust at the official explanations and excuses for Amini’s cruel and senseless death has led hundreds of Iranian women to burn their own hijabs. Iranians of all stripes are marching in the streets in defiance of the authorities. Some call for an end to the Islamic Republic. At this writing, at least seven protesters have been killed. The government is scrambling to close social media and electronic communications. The crisis is real. It has the potential to threaten the regime itself.
Why? Because the disruption arrives at a critical juncture in the sad and bloody history of the Islamic Revolution. The state that emerged from that revolution in 1979, the Islamic Republic, faces both a leadership crisis and a demographic transition at the very moment that negotiations over the revival of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), a.k.a. the Iranian nuclear deal, have reached an impasse.
These are not the actions of a state that will give up its nuclear ambitions and be brought into the fold of the “international community.” They are the actions of a crazy state whose chief export isn’t energy but terrorism, violence, and death. The malignancy of the Iranian government spreads beyond the nation’s borders, for sure. But its primary victims are the Iranian people. They are the first to suffer the economic, social, cultural, and physical costs billed to the regime. Their discontent is the clearest register of the regime’s criminality and the most visible sign of its decay.
The overlapping challenges for Iran increase the regime’s fragility. Hence the best course of action for the United States: End our nuclear negotiations with Iran, reinstate “snapback” sanctions, reestablish a credible military threat, and demand that the Iranian government recognize the human rights and dignity of the Iranian people.
Ayatollah Khamenei is 83 years old. He is not in good health. Yes, he has made some public appearances in recent days. But the few images we have seen of him do not exactly project strength. As happens in every authoritarian regime, his acolytes and toadies must be jockeying for position in anticipation of his ultimate demise. If so, then there must be an environment of confusion and uncertainty at the highest levels of the regime.
The cries of Iranian youth for personal freedom have no doubt worsened the disarray. There are 88 million Iranians. Half of the population is under 32 years old. They are ruled by a grizzled and sclerotic clerisy that funnels resources to its private army, the terrorist Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). Mahsa Amini represented a generation of Iranians who want more than the limited options, cruelty, and state-imposed religion that have been on offer for 43 years. That is why she has become a symbol for all those who disapprove of, and dissent from, the mullahs’ hard line.
A push from the United States would make all the difference. There is no better time for a change in U.S. strategy. The nuclear deal is going nowhere. Accepting Iran’s most radical demands at the negotiating table would make America look weak, foolish, and callous. Give in to Khamenei as he murders his citizenry and supplies Russia with weapons to use against Ukrainians? The stomach churns at the idea.
If the current disorder were a test, Biden answered the first question correctly. He has yet to complete the exam.
America’s two previous chief executives did not pass it. In 2009 President Obama stood mute as students took to the streets in the so-called Green Revolution. In 2019 President Trump delivered mixed messages while Iranians rebelled against government corruption and economic mismanagement. Obama did not want to jeopardize his plans for détente with the mullahs. As a rule, Trump’s personal foreign policy deemphasized human rights and democracy. Crippling sanctions were his weapon of choice. [NF: And they WORKED!!!]
The motivations of the two presidents differed. The results did not. In both cases, the regime used brutal means to survive the upheaval. And the Ayatollah Khamenei continued to build his nuclear infrastructure and spread havoc throughout the region and the world.
Draw the line here. U.S. officials say they have made their final offer to Iran. Fine. The ayatollah rejected it. Now America must reject him as well. Isolating and punishing the Iranian regime for its malign behavior abroad and oppression at home would further American interests in the Greater Middle East. It would undermine one of Russia’s few allies. And it would help the Iranian people in their struggle to put their government where it belongs: on the ash heap of history.”

OK, this is why one needs to follow the links to the original…..this woman was killed in Iran’s Kurdistan province – long, long history of enmity between the Kurds and the Iranian government so this doesn’t surprise me. Glad to see, tho, that it is spreading.
From the CNN article: “After starting Saturday at Amini’s funeral in Iran’s Kurdistan province, the demonstrations have swept much of the country, leading to clashes with security forces trying to quell them.”

“A 23-year-old in Urmia and a 16-year-old in Piranshahar were shot dead during protests on Tuesday, bringing the total number of demonstrators killed to seven, according to two Kurdish human rights groups monitoring violations in Iran — Kurdistan Human Rights Network and Hengaw, a Norwegian-registered organization.”

Entire Article @ FB: “Planned Parenthood quietly made changes to its website to reflect Democratic Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams’s claim that babies do not have detectable heartbeats at six weeks gestation, the Washington Examiner reported.
“There is no such thing as a heartbeat at six weeks,” Abrams said at an event at the Ray Charles Performing Arts Center in Atlanta on Wednesday. “It is a manufactured sound designed to convince people that men have the right to take control of a woman’s body.”
Abrams, who is trailing her opponent Gov. Brian Kemp (R.) by 6.6 points in the polls, was speaking against Georgia’s “heartbeat” bill, which went into effect in July and bans most abortions once a heartbeat is detected, usually around six weeks.
On Friday, Planned Parenthood changed its website, without any notice, to say that at five to six weeks of pregnancy “a part of the embryo starts to show cardiac activity. It sounds like a heartbeat on an ultrasound, but it’s not a fully-formed heart—it’s the earliest stage of the heart developing.”
The webpage used to say “a very basic beating heart and circulatory system develop,” according to internet archives. According to the National Library of Medicine, at five weeks a “baby’s heart begins to develop” and at six weeks a “baby’s heart continues to grow and now beats at a regular rhythm.”
In an attempt to make abortion a key issue in the November elections, the abortion advocacy group plans to spend $50 million on Democratic campaigns, while the economy remains the chief concern for most voters.”

This is the guy who Michael used to DJ with in CA – they still talk on the phone regularly.
EXCERPT: “The eldest son of August Coppola and dancer Joy Vogelsang, Marc Coppola is an actor and radio DJ. As is typical of the Coppola kids, he made his first movie appearance at a young age, a brief appearance as an AFRS announcer in Francis Ford Coppola’s Apocalypse Now.
That turned out to be a role of providence, as Marc is now best known as a radio personality. He has worked for classic rock station KGB-FM since 2010, and is married to actress Elizabeth Coppola (formerly Elizabeth Brindak), who also made an appearance on the show his cousin Matthew Shire writes for, Mozart in the Jungle. Marc and Elizabeth Coppola have two children: Natasha Coppola-Shalom, who is an actress, and Cayley Coppola.”

Asswipes doing all they can to stop Brandon!!!!
Dear Patriots-
I was HACKED. Several nights ago I was the target of a savage hacking operation. My Facebook account was hacked, and within minutes the hacker began adding fellow criminals to my account. They took over my business/ads account and my business pages, they deleted all my admins, and then they began posting horrifically explicit child pornography. Within minutes I was banned from Facebook.
As of right now, I’ve been in contact with someone at Facebook who appears to be moving this case forward. Piece by piece, my account is being restored, but there is much I don’t have back yet. And as of now my account was re-activated, but Facebook still has all my posting capabilities restricted.
The reason why you’re able to see any new posts on my Facebook page is because a moderator is posting it on my behalf. Hang tight, I’m confident that this will all get straightened out and my account restored to full functionality. In the meantime, any posts you see on my page from now until the time when I announce to you that my account is fully unrestricted will be coming from my moderators.
The battle is real. We have very dark forces in this world trying to stop people who love freedom, and they’re willing to go to any lengths to destroy people- including breaking the law by hacking my account, and posting the horrific things that were put on my page.
Much love to all of you, Patriots! Keep checking back on this. It may take some time to fully resolve. It’s another hurdle, but we’re used to that by now, right? Hang in there!!!

The scheme included Feeding Our Future allegedly claiming to open more than 250 Federal Child Nutrition Program sites across the state of Minnesota. Most of the 47 individuals claimed to operate these sites by filing fraudulent documents purporting to be feeding children, prosecutors allege.

How’s this for color??? That’s how it is phrased in the horse world….
A Curly is a breed of horse. Curlies, also called Bashkir Curlies, American Bashkir Curlies, and North American Curly Horses, come in all sizes, colors, and body types but all carry a gene for a unique curly coat of hair.[1]
