There are many safe uses for mint-family herbs besides beautifying your gardens. Here is just a sampling:
Food: The peppermints are especially good culinary mints, ideal for chopping into salads, sprinkling over fruits or combining with basil or cilantro to make mint pesto. Add a couple of tablespoons of fresh chopped mint to peas, green beans, carrots, cauliflower, or zucchini to create minted vegetables!
Drinks: Freeze a few trays of strong mint tea, then use the ice cubes for cooling summer drinks! Add mint leaves or cubes to mojitos, iced tea, or fresh lemonade.

Tea: Why buy mint tea when it’s so easy to make? Peppermint, spearmint, apple mint, etc. are traditional tea herbs. Just steep fresh mint leaves in boiling water for about five minutes and serve. It’s a great digestive aid after dinner.
Hair rinse: Add one part strong mint (especially rosemary) tea to one part cider vinegar for a conditioning rinse you can either leave in or rinse out. The vinegary smell dissipates after drying.
Facial astringent: Add a few finely minced leaves of fresh peppermint or other mint to a cup of witch hazel. Store in a glass jar for a week or more, shaking occasionally. Strain the herbs from the mixture after a week.
Mouthwash: Chop a quarter cup of fresh mint, bee-balm, lemon balm, basil, thyme, or oregano leaves and infuse in a quart of boiling water. When cool, strain the herbs and store in the refrigerator.
Mint bath. Steep a handful of mint leaves in a pint of hot water for about ten minutes, then strain. Add to bath water for an invigorating, stress-free soak.
Ease sunburn pain: Make a strong peppermint tea and refrigerating the mixture for several hours. To use, gently apply to the burned area with cotton pads.

Breath freshener: Just chew on a few mint leaves! Sage teas and extracts have been used for centuries as a mouthwash for oral infections. Don’t use chew mint-family herbs if you’re breastfeeding, as even small amounts or sage and peppermint may reduce milk supply.
Scent up a space: Keep your home smelling fresh by adding a few drops of mint essential oil to your favorite unscented cleaner or just take a cotton ball and dap onto a light bulb.

Moth repellent/scented sachet: Tie a few branches of strongly scented mint (peppermint, sage, lavender, rosemary, bee-balm) together, or pull off a handful of leaves, and stuff them into the leg of an old nylon stocking. Suspend by a string inside a garment bag, tuck into bags of stored woolen clothing, or just place in your drawers to let your clothes soak up the scent. Refresh periodically to keep the scent fresh.
Bug repellent: When ants come into the kitchen during the summer, place a few stems of mint, gently crushed, near suspected entry points really does deter ants. You need to replace the mint with fresh material every few days. Also, keep pets flea-free by stuffing a small pillow with fresh spearmint and thyme and placing near your pet’s bed.
Mint in Your Garden
You may have heard that mint takes over the garden. It’s mainly spearmint that gives a lot of mints a bad name. Peppermint pretty much stays put and peppermint rarely produces viable seeds, so you won’t find it popping up in different garden beds.
Wild spearmint is the real bully, developing an enormous network of tough, quarter-inch-thick rhizomes under flower beds, spilling out into a large section of lawn, sending up a new plant every inch or two from the underground nodes. So if you want to grow this mint, just give this attractive ground cover plenty of room to spread. Or, plant mint in a container such as a terracotta pot near the kitchen window. In the ground, it’s ideal to grow spearmint in its own bed. But if you want to grow mint in a bed with other herbs or plants, consider sinking a deep bucket or tub without holes into the soil and plant into that. Otherwise, spearmint will choke out other plants in the bed.
NOTE: If herbal medicine interests you, please approach the mints, especially their essential oils, tinctures, and concentrated extracts, with care. Although many have been used by traditional healers around the world for centuries, most herbs haven’t undergone rigorous testing for safety and efficacy, especially in pregnant/nursing women, children, elders, and people with chronic illnesses.
Good morning! It was so cool last night, I didn’t turn on my fan and I woke up at 2:30 drenched in sweat. Couldn’t get back to sleep so……and the benefit? I heard an owl for the first time in my back yard! And now I can’t remember my VM password on this POS phone…..sigh….

Entire Article @ JustTheNews: “Congress spent $96,000 for a meditation app to calm the nerves of House staffers who felt traumatized by the Jan. 6 attack, according to federal spending watchdog OpenTheBooks.com.
Congress’ agreement with a San Francisco-based health software company gave House staffers a free subscription to Calm, its meditation, sleep and relaxation app.
Ohio Democratic Rep. Tim Ryan, chairman of the House Appropriations subcommittee on the legislative branch, announced the app agreement in a December, 2021 letter to staffers as part of a larger effort to address the trauma staff felt as a result of Jan. 6.
“As we head into 2022 and prepare to mark the first anniversary of the events of January 6, 2021,” Ryan wrote jointly with the subcommittee ranking member, “be assured that these offices are here to support you with their comprehensive mental and emotional support resources and to help develop and improve your resilience, growth, productivity, and overall well-being.”
The meditation app purchase was funded from a $1.9 billion emergency spending package Congress passed to enhance security after the Capitol breach.
Fox News reported that Ryan is well-known for his devotion to yoga and meditation. Ryan did not respond to a request for comment from Just The News.
“This legislation was sold as a package to invest in concrete solutions to bolster our security after the events of January 6, but this is almost six figures of our tax dollars for Congressional staffers to be lulled to sleep by the voice of Matthew McConaughey,” Adam Andrzejewski, CEO and Founder of OpenTheBooks told Just The News.
“This is just another example of Washington treating itself to a special perk the rest of us have to pay for,” Andrzejewski said.
The normal charge for the app House staffers are offered for free is $14.99 a month or an annual fee of $69.99.”

Entire Article @ WND: “Parents who wonder how radical gender activism – pushing artificial identities such as “non-binary,” “pansexual” and “genderqueer” – entered the schools of their children should take a closer look at an organization that until recently was known as the Gay-Straight Alliance Network.
Now rebranded as the Genders & Sexualities Alliance, GSA operates in more than 4,000 elementary, middle and high schools under the guise of student “clubs,” reports Christopher Rufo, who is known for exposing the rise of teaching based on the neo-Marxist Critical Race Theory.
Rufo, senior fellow and director of the Initiative on Critical Race Theory at the Manhattan Institute, writes in the think tank’s City Journal that the GSA Network is a “professionally staffed nonprofit with a multimillion-dollar annual budget.
GSA’s rebranding in 2016, he said, reflected a new focus on “the limits of a binary gender system.” The individual GSA chapters, Rufo wrote, “use the language of ‘LGBTQ inclusion’ and ‘anti-bullying’ in their public relations, but behind the scenes, the central organization is driven by pure left-wing radicalism that extends far beyond sexuality.”
The group’s ideology “follows the basic framework of radical gender theory: white European men created an oppressive system based on capitalism, white supremacy, and ‘heteronormativity’ – that is, the promotion of heterosexuality, the male-female binary, and bourgeois family norms.” To fight back, GSA contends, racial and sexual minorities must unite under the banner of “intersectionality” and dismantle the “systems of oppression.”
Significantly, Rufo pointed out, GSA urges adult leaders to prevent parents from finding out about their children’s involvement in the clubs. On its website, GSA has a page titled 10 Steps for Starting a GSA that says that in addition to providing “support” to students, some local clubs “work on educating themselves and the broader school community about sexual orientation and gender identity issues.”
“They may bring in outside speakers to cover a particular topic such as LGBTQ+ history,” the site says. “They may organize a ‘Pride Week’ or ‘LGBTQ+ Awareness Events’ and offer a series of educational workshops, panels, or celebrations.” Some GSAs organize a “Teach the Teachers” staff development day, the website states, “which focuses on teaching school staff how to be better allies for LGBTQ+ students.”

Houston, we have a problem. Lying. There will be ‘person of color’ on the moon. It just won’t be Nujoud Fahoum Merancy, who is not one of Artemis’ astronauts, although is one of the program leads. Besides the lie, the story gets worse for VPalestine and their ilk:
“Its crew consists of mannequins named Zohar and Helga. Zohar will wear an AstroRad radiation protection vest developed by the Israeli company StemRad. The vest is meant to protect astronauts from harmful radiation and cosmic rays in space.
“We are honored to be one of the very few countries that have managed to introduce original technology for Artemis I. The fact that the Israeli flag will wave on top of Zohar’s suit in space fills us with pride,” the Israel Space Agency said.
Thousands of monitors will test Zohar’s level of protection during the Matroshka AstroRad Radiation Experiment (MARE). If successful the experiment may lay the foundation for humans’ long-term presence in space. The Israeli technology in turn could be used in future space missions to the Moon and Mars.”

Entire Article @ JustTheNews: “After firing former Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Michael Gableman from his position as special counsel in the state’s 2020 presidential election probe, GOP state Assembly Speaker Robin Vos has withdrawn subpoenas the investigator previously issued to the Wisconsin Elections Commission (WEC) and the mayors of Madison and Green Bay.
Vos sent letters to the mayors and WEC officials on Friday withdrawing the subpoenas, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported. “The last part of the investigation was seeking compliance with the subpoenas and now they’ve been withdrawn, so the investigation is over,” Gableman’s attorney, James Bopp, told The Associated Press.
Gableman’s subpoenas to the mayors and WEC officials were originally approved by Vos, who had appointed the former justice as the special counsel. After Vos narrowly claimed victory earlier this month over GOP primary challenger Adam Steen, who was backed by both former President Donald Trump and Gableman, he fired the special counsel and closed the office.
According to the Sentinel, the subpoenas ordered the government officials to sit for depositions regarding grants from left-leaning nonprofit Center for Tech and Civic Life, which was the primary recipient of approximately $400 million in private funds to public election administration authorities in 2020 from Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan. CTCL gave about $9 million to local election authorities in Wisconsin during the 2020 election cycle, mostly to the state’s five largest cities, which are bastions of Democratic support.
The officials questioned the legality of the subpoenas in court. Gableman had also asked for the mayors to be jailed if they refused to let him interview them, but his attorney later said his intent was only to force them to testify.
After Gableman’s firing, Waukesha County Circuit Judge Ralph Ramirez asked for an update on the litigation regarding the subpoenas, as a hearing was scheduled for Aug. 30. Gableman’s attorney, James Bopp, had argued that the former justice’s firing had no bearing on the work of the Office of Special Counsel and that the subpoenas were issued by the state Assembly.
The Wisconsin Department of Justice sought to dismiss the case following Gableman’s firing.
“Speaker Vos has officially killed legislative oversight in Wisconsin,” state Rep. Janel Brandtjen (R-Menomonee Falls) told Just the News. “The election commission along with corrupt mayors now rule Wisconsin.”
Vos had paused the investigation in May as litigation continued. Gableman released his 136-page report to the state Assembly in March, noting that nearly 91 nursing homes in the counties of Milwaukee, Racine, Dane, Kenosha, and Brown had voter turnout rates ranging from 95% to 100% in 2020 in an alleged ballot harvesting scheme. He also found that noncitizens had voted in the election.
Gableman had sought to continue the investigation into CTCL, voting machines, and the alleged voter fraud at the nursing homes.
Investigation of the 2020 presidential election in the state may now be irreversibly ended as the federal requirement to preserve federal election records for 22 months after an election expires on Sept. 3 for the 2020 election.”

Entire Article @ TheCounterSignal.com: “Scientists have figured out a way to take on overpopulation and climate change by creating a food seasoning made of mealworm.
“The global food market continues to grow, but it is still necessary to explore new food materials and/or develop new food products because food resources are gradually being depleted,” says researcher Hee Cho. Cho says the bug spice was created in response to “a growing global population and the looming climate crisis.”
Even if eating bugs isn’t your thing, Cho and her fellow researchers may have found a way to keep things out of sight and out of mind. Indeed, the mealworm seasoning looks just like any other one that isn’t made up of roaches and garbage maggots and could be the next step in addressing most people’s pesky meat preference.
“Edible insects are superfoods,” says Cho, adding that “Many consumers do not like their [mealworms] physical appearance. So most insects have been used in crushed or powdered forms as food additives.”
Furthermore, Cho and her team discovered that the best way to trick someone into thinking they’re eating meat is to heat up the bug spice and mix it with sugar. Will you gain weight? Maybe. Diabetes? Can’t say. But these are small sacrifices required to save the world.
The time is nigh for bug-eating, folks. And children in the UK are already one step ahead of the curve, as they’re about to start eating bugs at school in a series of sustainable food workshops. Afterwards, at home, these little sustainability legends will teach their savage parents what real heroism looks like.
Across the pond, Canadians may already be eating bugs without knowing it. For example, Entomo Farms, a company based in Canada, sells junk food made from crickets in stores across the country under their “Actually Foods” brand. And Canada just became home to the world’s largest cricket factory, where almost 10,000 metric tons of crickets will be produced annually for you and your dog to eat.
“A growing population and increasing demand for food and material requires sustainable, scalable solutions,” says CEO Mohammed Ashour.

EXCERPT: “Have you ever imagined a lion that’s scared of its own roar? It petrifies its prey, but instead capturing the moment — and its dinner — it turns tail and runs. That’s the position the Republican Party finds itself in, only weeks away from the beginning of early voting in the 2022 midterm elections.
By historical precedent, Republicans were well-situated to score major wins in this presidential election. Opposition parties who control neither the White House nor Congress almost always gain ground in Congress during midterm elections. Historically unpopular President Joe Biden has been an albatross around his party’s neck, having presided over two major foreign policy disasters and a constant string of domestic crises, including mounting inflation. Republicans even led in Real Clear Politics’ generic congressional ballot (a measure which skews toward Democrats) since November 2021 by as much as five points.
Then, the Supreme Court released its Dobbs decision, overturning Roe v. Wade and returning control over abortion policy to the people’s elected representatives.
The people’s elected representatives — the Republicans, at least — balked. This was a historic moment, the culmination of 50 years of coalition building, marching, campaigning, public persuasion, and prayer. Wasn’t this the hard-fought victory pro-lifers sought to achieve? Did pro-lifers campaign 50 years to return control of abortion to elected officials, only for those officials to sit on their hands? While some did celebrate, for many, the reply was muted. “There’s just been mostly radio silence,” said Connor Semelsberger, FRC’s director of Federal Affairs. “There really isn’t a unified message.” What happened?
Part of the problem is that Republicans listened to what the media was saying. (Not every Republican, of course. Washington Watch host Joseph Backholm noted that “there are undoubtedly some really confident, loud, courageous pro-life voices.”) The propaganda wing of the Democrat party has blasted out the message, “all Republicans want to do is throw women in jail, and criminalize doctors, and the whole nine,” Semelsberger summarized. But he noted, “that’s just the furthest thing from the truth.”
But can Republicans convince the public? “Everybody knows,” said Backholm, “what Democrats think about abortion, right? On demand, taxpayers pay for it, no co-pays, no nothing, nine months of pregnancy, maybe even a couple of days later. … Do we know that the Republican position on abortion is?”
Semelsberger said groups like FRC “have been trying to get these pro-life elected leaders to really lean into the issue rather than away. … The danger there is, you let the Democrats frame the debate.”
————–
Democrats are confident. “Republicans should be very, very, very scared this morning about their prospects. I have never believed that we would not hold the House,” said House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. That might be a bit far-fetched, with even the left-leaning number crunchers at Five Thirty-Eight predicting Democrats’ odds of winning the U.S. House are only 22 out of 100. The Senate is another story, where Democrats hold onto power by their fingernails but are likely to make gains; weak Republican nominees like Pennsylvania’s Dr. Mehmet Oz — not pro-life, not conservative, not Republican until 15 minutes ago — are hurting Republican chances.”

“The Arizona Democracy Resource Center (ADRC) Action has accrued over $7.6 million from a national network of Democratic dark money for a new ballot initiative. This group traces its roots back to a national donor network called “Way to Win,” which was launched to defeat Donald Trump in 2016.
Way to Win supplied $110 million in funding to key states like Arizona and Georgia to control the outcome of the 2020 election. It should be no surprise Way to Win’s major sources of funding include George Soros’ Open Society Foundations and family, Stryker Corporation heiress Patricia Stryker, the prominent D.C. consulting firm Arabella Advisors’ Sixteen Thirty (1630) Fund, and the Tides Foundation-backed One Arizona.
Arizona Senator Wendy Rogers reports some of the Arizonans for Free and Fair Elections’ proposed changes to her state’s election practices:
– eliminate voter ID and proof of citizenship for voter registration
– allow same-day voter registration
– bar election audits like the most recent one for the 2020 election
– raise small business taxes to increase political campaign funding
– restore private funding in election administration
– require universal vote centers
– extend in-person early voting through the day before Election Day
– require a court order to rule someone too incapacitated to vote
– implement automatic voter registration for driver’s license and state ID recipients, as well as of-age high schoolers
– allow curbside voting
– allow “nontraditional residential addresses” such as mile markers or “geographic or other identifying features” when registering to vote
– restore the permanent early voting list (PEVL)
– restore “inactive” voters to “active” status
– permit “signature-only” voter registration
– allow third parties to register voters
– reduce contribution limits
The Arizona legislature has done some remarkable work since the 2020 general election debacle. They have passed dozens of laws to make future Arizona elections safe from future steals. Senator Rogers reports that the Dems can’t have that, so they are going to court for an end-around to invalidate the laws just passed to open the door for future Arizona elections to be stolen.
Senator Rogers says, “This is no joke. If these DC Swampers get this end-around through, it will invalidate our election integrity laws- and make Arizona a hotspot for stolen elections. They want to steal every election in Arizona because they got away with stealing the one in 2020. We MUST beat them- first in court, then at the ballot box, then with additional laws to tighten up our elections!”
Voter fraud appeared blatant in Arizona to many, contrary to the Democrats and fake news media gaslighting the people of Arizona and America.”

Another FFS!!!! Entire Article @ WND: “The Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression has released a statement warning that a new court ruling from the D.C. Circuit Court poses a massive threat to the First Amendment. And you.
“Visiting D.C.? Planning to take video at the Lincoln Memorial for your YouTube channel? Not so fast. Thanks to the National Park Service and the D.C. Circuit Court, that video on your iPhone could land you in jail if your YouTube viewership generates any revenue,” the FIRE statement warns.
The problem comes from a decision in Price v. Garland that affirmed the NPS scheme for requiring people to pay fees and obtain permits if any of their video actually generates revenue, such as on YouTube. “The court drew a bewildering distinction between the act of filming and other steps in ultimately communicating through film, holding that recording video ‘involves merely a noncommunicative step in the production of speech,'” the FIRE reported.
“The court’s conclusion runs counter to decades of case law finding that the process of filmmaking is expressive, and that the First Amendment equally protects the creation and dissemination of speech, both of which are essential for communication.”
Warned the FIRE report: “The downstream implications of such a distinction are staggering: Ansel Adams would enjoy full First Amendment protection to exhibit his famous National Park photos, but not in taking them. A budding poet (the next Henry David Thoreau, perhaps?) heading off to the woods to write a book of poetry would be fully protected by the First Amendment in selling the book, but not in actually writing it.”
Ronnie London, the general counsel for the FIRE, said, “One has to wonder how the First Amendment can fully protect your ability to distribute your movie if your right to actually make it in the first place is diminished.”
London was with Davis Wright Tremaine prior to joining FIRE and represented part-time independent filmmaker Gordon Price in his lawsuit against the National Park Service. By the “logic” of the NPS, and now the court, he said, “Backpackers who upload ‘van life’ footage of their travels to Instagram for ad revenue without a permit and paying a fee to the government deserve to be in jail.”
Price had done a film exploring unexplained events, and, alone, took a camera onto Colonial National Historical Park land for brief video clips. The film, “Crawford Road,” was released and the NPS ticketed him for not having a permit and paying a fee.
A trial court threw out the case as a violation of the First Amendment but when Price then sued because he had been charged with a crime, the appeals court ruled 2-1 in a decision written by Judge Douglas H. Ginsburg that filming is not a protected expressive activity.
In a dissenting opinion, the FIRE reported, Judge David S. Tatel found, “the Permit Regime applies to an extraordinarily broad group of people, ranging from large-scale filming operations, to small documentary film crews, to individuals who take short videos on their phones and later monetize this content on social media platforms.”
He explained the majority’s decision means “that anything from recording commentary for YouTube to filming a protest on the National Mall could be illegal without a permit if the creator intends to profit from the footage,” the report explained. He charged that the decision actually degrades “First Amendment protection for filming, photography, and other activities essential to free expression.”
The dissent said, “My colleagues reimagine the public forums to protect the stumping politician but not the silent photography, to shield the shouting protester but not the note-taking reporter. These distinctions find no basis in First Amendment jurisprudence. It makes no more sense to exclude certain types of speech from public forums than it does to police which squirrels may enter a conservation easement.”
He pointed out there now is a disagreement among the circuits on the dispute, a key factor when the Supreme Court considers taking on cases. He was specific about the problems: “Before standing outside Yosemite National Park’s visitor center using a cell phone to record commentary on our national parks that will air on an advertisement-supported YouTube channel, an individual must obtain a permit and pay a fee.
“Before filming a protest on the National Mall, tourists must obtain a permit and pay a fee if they have an inkling that they might later make money from this footage…”
“Spontaneous” filming?
“These individual will be criminally liable and face up to six months in prison…”

EXCERPT: “A judge in Delaware issued a major decision on Friday in a case between billionaire Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk and Twitter. Chancellor Kathaleen McCormick of Delaware’s Court of Chancery ruled that the social media platform must turn over more data on phony and bot accounts registered on Twitter, which is being viewed as a major victory for Musk.
That said, McCormick also rejected portions of Musk’s request, deeming them to be “absurdly broad,” as Yahoo News reports: ‘The judge ordered Twitter to hand over data on 9,000 accounts the firm audited at the end of 2021, which opens the door for that information to be used in Musk’s effort to quit the $44 billion deal. Musk has argued Twitter was dishonest on the number of false or spam accounts, prompting strong denials and a lawsuit from the social media firm that has led to a trial set for mid-October.’
“My overall impression is that plaintiff has agreed to produce a tremendous amount of information to defendants, and that the information plaintiff has agreed to produce is sufficiently broad to satisfy most of plaintiff’s obligations,” she wrote. “Some additional data from plaintiff (Twitter) seems warranted,” McCormick added without further explanation in her four-page order.
“We look forward to reviewing the data Twitter has been hiding for many months,” said Musk’s attorney, Alex Spiro.
Attorneys for Twitter argued that Musk simply wants a “do-over” because he failed to ask certain questions about the company before making his offer. They added that even if experts hired by Musk come to a different conclusion about the actual number of bot accounts than the platform, that still would not constitute a breach of contract on Twitter’s part.
Earlier this month, the judge said that Twitter had to collect the documents from a former top Twitter executive, review them and give them to Musk’s team, Reuters reported:
—————
But McCormack did deny Musk’s request for information from 21 other people who have control over the information he wants.
Last week, meanwhile, a former Twitter security executive turned whistleblower dropped some bombshells regarding the company’s interactions with Musk. Peiter “Mudge” Zatko, the company’s former head of security who was personally hired by Twitter founder and then-CEO Jack Dorsey, said in an explosive interview that current management has not been upfront and honest with Musk regarding the number of fake, bot, and spam accounts on the platform.
In addition, Zatko, a former formidable hacker with a reputation in Silicon Valley who was fired by Twitter in January, also said that the platform’s security is so poor it has become a national security risk.”

Now, as reported by The New York Times, Hannity is scheduled to sit for a deposition on Wednesday, Carlson is to be deposed on Friday, and Dobbs, whose show was canceled last year, is set to appear on Tuesday. So the band plays on, and the song remains the same. Every last verse of it. The bottom line:
As I suggested at the top, battle lines have long been drawn over the 2020 election and its aftermath, including the January 6 Capitol riot, the unprecedented FBI raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence, and Trump’s continuing insistence that the election was indeed “rigged” and “stolen.”
Those battle lines remain steadfast; no amount of evidence to the contrary or lack thereof changes a single mind on either hardened side. Hence, 2024 is going to make 2020 look like a Sunday school picnic.”

Within the past few weeks, the CDC changed its summary of guiding statements regarding the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic with further reductions in the number of people and scenarios where there need to be testing, quarantine, and inconveniences from normal work or school life.1
The most important issue the CDC has resolved is that from a public health perspective, there is no distinguishment between a vaccinated and an unvaccinated citizen. This statement alone, if followed, should end all school, employment, military, and travel vaccine mandates since there is no clinical difference between the two conditions.
This week, the US National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) division director, Dr. Anthony Fauci, announced his retirement as of December 2022. In the formal NIH announcement, oddly, there is no mention of his largest professional activity, the SARS-CoV-2 outbreak or COVID-19 crisis.2 Complete silence on the past three years and what, if any, involvement he had with SARS in the years prior to 2020.
Many have said that these are signs the false narrative is crumbling and the advent of scapegoating, which is fully expected as a part of the demise of a syndicate that has worked to ruin our country and much of the world. Much of the damage done has been biologic, that is, due to the engineered Spike protein on the surface of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and loaded in the genetic code installed in each person who takes the COVID-19 genetic vaccines.
We have an excellent show for you this week with some key major media interviews with Dr. McCullough with Roman Balmakov of Facts Matter by Epoch Times, and on FOX News IngrahamAngle with Laura Ingraham and Stanford Professor Dr. Jay Bhattacharya.3 Many suggestions are given for CDC reform so we do not have a repeat performance with a future pandemic. Our music segment is from Dennis of Carothers Parkway, a patriotic song you will love — “God Save America.”4
So let’s get real, let’s get loud; on America Out Loud Talk Radio, this is The McCullough Report!”

Oh, my! Maher is making sense again!!!
Entire Article (transcript/video at link): “HBO Real Time host Bill Maher condemned the media for suppressing the story about Hunter Biden’s laptop in the runup to the 2020 presidential election and grew frustrated with actor, filmmaker, and left-wing activist Rob Reiner tried to deflect the conversation to January 6 and defend the media.
Maher introduced the story by asking, “is it okay to have a conspiracy to get rid of Trump. This came up this week because my friend Sam Harris was on a podcast … They were talking about Hunter Biden’s laptop which was a story and now all the mainstream press has finally admitted it was a real story, it was a real laptop with, now look, let’s not pussyfoot around this, he was selling the influence of his father, Joe Biden.”
After mocking the idea that “some guy from China” would give Hunter Biden “an $80,000 diamond” purely out of the goodness of his heart, Maher asserted: ‘Even the head of Twitter, Jack Dorsey, said that was a mistake. They buried this story because they remembered what happened with James Comey and the letter 11 days before the 2016 election. Comey said we have to reopen this email investigation with Hillary Clinton and it probably was—I mean, she ran a horrible campaign, didn’t go to Wisconsin, we know all that. This is probably the last thing that sunk her.’
Quoting Harris, Maher continued “‘it was appropriate for Twitter and the heads of big tech and the heads of journalistic organizations to feel that they were in the presence of something that is a once-in-a-lifetime moral emergency,’ meaning Trump.” Maher then returned to is original question if the ends justify the means, “because once you go down this road, this is sort of where we are in this country, the other side is so evil, anything is justified in preventing them from taking office, is it?”
Reiner replied, “No, no, you know it’s not justified? Using armed violence to try to kill people in the Capital. That’s not justified.” Frustrated that Reiner didn’t answer the question, Maher shot back, “Answer this question.”
Continuing to play dumb, Reiner asked “what is the question.” Amid more cross talk with Reiner, Maher repeated himself yet again, “[Harris’s] saying that’s what they did and that is what they did, they buried the Hunter Biden story before the election because they were like we can’t risk having the election thrown to Trump, we’ll tell them after the election.”
Reiner refused to believe the press would do such a thing, “and we know for a fact that that’s what they did?” Maher held his ground and questioned if Reiner was even aware of this story. Continuing to suggest the media did nothing wrong, Reiner declared, “No, but, I’ve been saying that you know for a fact that’s what they did, I don’t know what they did.”
Maher then declared that is because Reiner only watches MSNBC, which Reiner said was not true as he still couldn’t bring himself to consider that the press preferred Trump lose. An incredulous Maher got in the final word between the two, “that’s not even an issue anymore, they’re saying yes we basically did this because we didn’t want this to throw the election. Yes?”
After an awkward silence, Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar chimed into give a typical politician’s non-answer about the value of the First Amendment before also referencing January 6.
Here is a transcript for the August 26 show:

When are the great Agents, and others, in the FBI going to say “we aren’t going to take it anymore,” much as they did when James Comey read off a list of all of Crooked Hillary Clinton’s crimes, only to say that no reasonable prosecutor would prosecute. The wonderful people of the FBI went absolutely “nuts,” so Comey had to backtrack and do a FAKE INVESTIGATION in order to keep them at bay. The end result, we won in 2016 (and did MUCH better in 2020!). But now the “Left” has lost their minds!!!

The sworn affidavit presented to secure the search warrant for Mar-a-Lago used by the FBI to raid Donald Trump’s home had what appears to be a crucial error in it, one that could be easily debunked. If the facts detailed by independent journalist Paul Sperry are accurate, this could be enough to obliterate the Department of Justice’s case against Trump.
In a post on Gettr, Sperry said:
BREAKING: The FBI affiant who swore to the Mar-a-Lago search warrant appears to have made a critical factual error by stating in the unsealed affidavit: “I do not believe that any spaces within the PREMISES have been authorized for the storage of classified information.” This finding, which is the linchpin of the criminal case vs. Trump, overlooks the fact that:
1) White House records confirm that a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) authorizing the briefing and storage of classified material up to the TS/SCI level had in fact been installed at Mar-a-Lago; and,
2) records show that the Secret Service had recently awarded a nearly $600,000 contract to upgrade physical security within the premises at Mar-a-Lago for Trump’s post-presidency transition

Holy cow! The dog climbs the ladder, trying to get to her!!!
Entire article @ Breitbart: “A boy in Kingston, Oklahoma, saw his mom having a medical emergency in their pool and took swift action that saved her life. Gavin Keeney was already aware that his mother suffered from seizures so when he heard a lot of splashing, he jumped into the water and grabbed hold of her, KTEN reported Friday.
Surveillance footage showed the moment he swam across the pool and put his arms around his mother. She appeared rigid as the child moved her back toward the ladder. Once they reached it, Gavin pulled himself up while still holding on to his mom in an effort to keep her head above the water:
According to Global News, their dogs alerted the woman’s father who lives nearby. A few moments later, the man was seen running towards the pair and getting into the water to hold on to the distressed woman.
On Tuesday, Gavin received a Saving a Life plaque. Kingston Police Chief Kasey Cox said officials wanted to surprise him to “let him know that he is a hero.” According to the boy’s mother, Lori Keeney, the episodes were something he has helped with before. “Truly amazing thing to see, and I don’t normally get to see him in action and what he gets to do after I’m having a seizure,” she said. In a Facebook post on August 5, Keeney shared the video and praised her son, writing, “Thank you God for putting this wonderful little human into my life.”
According to Gavin, it was the second Saving a Life plaque he received; the first one was to recognize his actions when his mother was choking. At that time, he tried performing the Heimlich maneuver but eventually had to call 911 for help.
This week, social media users praised the boy for his bravery during the seizure episode, one person telling Keeney, “That’s awesome, your son is a true hero, and you should be proud how he responded in the situation.”
“Wow! Just WOW! You have raised an amazing young boy! Thank God for him!” another user commented.”

The western US is under an all out climate engineering assault, California most of all. The Weather Makers can shut the hydrological cycle off from the once “golden state” for as long as they wish. Satellite images and NOAA maps shown in this presentation are shocking and revealing to say the least. Whatever one wishes to consider as the agenda of those in power, one conclusion is certain, the drought in California is a direct result of the ongoing climate engineering insanity. Weather warfare is now being waged on the American population.

I just read tcth article on the doj attempting to indict Trump…the story went as i expected, except some dude added parallels of desantis and cruz…the pictures are oddly similar. and some dude mentions desantis has a lot of corporate donors—his is NOT a grass roots movement. big red flag for me. then i read the comments.

I’m skeptical at this point, but i can see McConnel’s hand here…

Instead, he has followed an easy route to punch soft targets like Anthony Fauci and the social inequity of Biden’s college tuition debt forgiveness.
With 94% of Ron DeSantis funding coming from multinational corporations, Wall Street hedge funds and billionaires, it is easy to see where the control mechanisms are as the club masters look to take down Trump and retain control of U.S. economic, monetary and trade policy. Whoa! I did NOT know Grenell was connected to Epstein’s brother!!!!
EXCERPT: “Epstein-linked Richard Grenell is spearheading the GOP’s embrace of the LGBT agenda, headlining invitations to a $100,000 per plate donor dinner with President Trump and releasing a video with the Log Cabin Republicans in which he blasts far-left Joe Biden for not being pro-gay enough. National File recently exposed Grenell’s ties to the Humpty Dumpty Institute, an organization closely associated with the Chinese Communist Party and led by the brother of notorious sex trafficking pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
Corporate media and political insiders are touting openly gay Republican Richard Grenell as a “diverse” potential VP pick for the 45th President should he choose to run again in 2024. In a recent video released by Grenell and the Log Cabin Republicans, the former acting DNI and Ambassador to Germany blasted far-left Democrat Joe Biden for not being pro-LGBT enough.

interesting theory on the student debt bailout…it’s leading up to “free college” for all
FTA
To me, this whole $10k forgiveness scheme is about training the taxpayers—easing them one drip at a time—into surrendering to the “free college” plan.
The left will get its way in this round. Someday they’ll increase the forgiveness amount. It’ll become a major campaign issue and the RINO’s will be stupid enough to hop into the ring and argue “Vote for me; I’ll forgive more!”
The game will be over when the left says, “Hey, America, I’ve got a plan to reduce bureaucracy, save on paperwork, save trees, and cut government costs! What is it, you ask? Well, my plan is to make college free to all!
The Left’s plan does not depend on the current scheme. It’s a red herring. Their goal is to rev up their clueless base, pit people against one another, enflame class warfare, and then come to the rescue to put out the flames with their free college goal.
Isn’t today’s plan the Left’s scheme to make people give in—one pin prick at a time—until we’re too tired to defend logic any further?

I don’t usually leave my feeders out during the winter but I’ll leave this one out now!!! And I was thinking about safflower seeds – now I’ll get some! I’ve got a pair!!!! They both flew down to the California Poppies, too! I’m guessing they are going for the sunflower seeds that drop into the garden bed from the feeder hanging above it. I saw a red-headed woodpecker chasing something yesterday – didn’t see which kind of bird it was, tho. Now I’ve got a Bluejay, too!!! (I have spent 2 hours trying to upload these 2 pics!!! They WILL be getting a call from me tomorrow!)
“Although they will eat smaller seeds if that is all that’s available, cardinals prefer larger seeds like sunflower seeds, crushed peanuts, chunks of suet (winter only), cracked corn, and safflower seeds. Cardinals possess a very strong and thick beak that is perfect for crushing these larger seeds.
Once cardinals realize that your yard has a reliable food source they will probably become regulars to your feeder and make a home nearby. Cardinals do not migrate so be sure to keep your feeder full year round and not just in the warm months. They may come to depend on your feeder. Like a lot of other birds, they tend to eat most often in the mornings and evenings however you will see them all throughout the day if they have chosen your feeder as their primary food source.”

Hi Pat…Cardinals, like many songbirds like black sunflower seeds. Especially during cooler months (but really all year) many are drawn to the high fat content of black oil sunflower.
Birds & Blooms magazine characterizes this as the one seed that offers biggest return for birds. In addition to Cardinals, Chickadees, Finches, Grosbeaks, Jays, Mourning Doves, Nuthatches, Titmice & Woodpeckers are all attracted to Black Sunflower. They say as well, that the Striped Sunflower have harder shells therefore less satisfactory. 🐦

A Florida sex offender was arrested after he allegedly tried to “purchase” an 8-year-old girl for $100,000 at a grocery store, police said.
Hellmuth Kolb, 85, approached the child’s mom at a Winn Dixie in Port Orange Thursday and made the indecent proposal, according to the Port Orange Police Department.
Kolb was on probation and was banned from having contact with children after trying to buy a different child in Walmart in 2018, according to WESH-TV.
Lauren Benning told the station she thought Kolb was just a lonely old man when he approached her and her daughter.
“He just came up and he started making comments about how pretty she was and how good her dancing was and how he could never have children and he wanted children,” Benning reportedly said.
But the interaction soon took a dark turn, Benning told the station.
“Approached me in the parking lot. Actually chased me down in the parking lot and said ‘hey, I want to make a deal with you.’ I’d like to buy her for $100,000. I was in complete shock.”
“He needs to be locked up and not allowed to be around our children,” she reportedly said.

Entire Article @ AT: “Last week, National Review senior writer Charles C.W. Cooke issued “A Long Goodbye to Trump,” declaring in his article that it’s time to get over the former president and that it’s going to take a team effort by conservatives to topple Trump, “bit by bit, day by day, cut by cut, sigh by sigh.”
Cooke’s piece was unsurprising, being that National Review is the embodiment of the Washington establishment GOP, and that this same publication ran an entire issue in the winter of 2016 titled “Against Trump,” writing, “Trump is a philosophically unmoored political opportunist who would trash the broad conservative ideological consensus within the GOP in favor of a free-floating populism with strong-man overtones.”
N.R.’s distaste for Trump has more to do with style than substance, and even to this day, the bulk of its arguments against Trump have little to do with policy. NeverTrumps are revolted by him because he had the audacity to position himself among the Washington GOP establishment as if he were their equal — as if he had come up the political ranks and had been approved by the party’s cultural and political gatekeepers — which he certainly had not.
“Ultimately, voters who want to rid the GOP of Donald Trump need to decide whether we truly mean it when we say that he is uniquely unsuited to office, and to tease out what that means in practice,” Cooke writes in his piece.
But Cooke never explains what “uniquely unsuited to office” means. NeverTrumps rarely do. It’s implied that Trump is wrong because he’s the result of “free-floating populism,” which is another way of saying the common person is too dumb and classless to understand what’s good for him or his country. Only the polished, college-educated, politically established Beltway conservatives know what’s best. Everyday folks from middle America need to pipe down and listen to the experts.
Trump is “uniquely unsuited to office” because his very existence is a painful reminder of the 2016 referendum on the establishment GOP. Trump won the Republican nomination by a landslide because Americans were disgusted by the pathetic inaction of so-called conservative politicians and their failure to stand up against leftist progressivism. They allowed the Obama administration to selectively enforce immigration laws, downplay Islamic extremism, and racially polarize America by fueling the propaganda associated with the deaths of Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown.
When Obama sided with activists of BLM and invited members of the Muslim Brotherhood (who had known ties to terrorist groups) into the White House, not much was said. Likewise, when Obama turned the American health care system on its head and was busy violating the Constitution with dozens of “pen and phone” executive orders, much of the GOP establishment went along for the ride, afraid to rock the boat. Republicans even let Obama weaponize the IRS against the Tea Party, knowing that their competition was being eliminated.
Then Donald Trump came down the escalator in Trump Tower in June of 2015 and announced he was running for president. Beltway conservatives laughed, but little did they know that the joke was on them. By the time they realized what was happening — that they’d lost touch with the people — it was too late.
Trump made quick work of “low energy” Jeb Bush, running over the Bush family dynasty like a steamroller. No doubt the Bush clan was humiliated and felt personally attacked, and Beltway conservatives cried foul.
“Little Marco” Rubio was next, followed by “Lying” Ted Cruz. Mind you, Trump achieved all this after skipping the Fox News GOP debate (which no one ended up watching) because of his spat with Megyn Kelly. When Trump announced he was going to skip the 2016 CPAC, choosing to campaign in Kansas and Florida instead, the GOP proclaimed that this was political suicide, that no one could ever win the nomination without attending. Trump skipped the conference and won the Republican nomination by over 6 million votes.
It was the establishment GOP that hated Trump first and hated him the hardest. He’s “uniquely unsuited to office” because he takes the totality of the Washington swamp — and all its networks of power — and renders them useless. That’s why Trump is so “dangerous” and is a threat to so many powerful people. This threat rose exponentially, of course, when he toppled “Crooked Hillary” and the Clinton Crime Syndicate. Together, the Bushes and the Clintons and all the Beltway swamp creatures, both Republican and Democrat, and all their media allies have done everything possible to disrupt Trump, stop him, smear him, take him down. Russia collusion, quid pro quo, January 6 — all of these sensationalized, theatrical, and mostly unfounded allegations have been used to get rid of an outsider who defies their rules and power structures.
What no one ever talks about, of course, is policy. Cooke writes:
‘In the more immediate term, conservatives who wish to see Trump retired in 2024 ought to stop talking about him all the time, in favor of building up other politicians who are engaged in active controversies right now; they ought to think more seriously than they have about why Trump rose to prominence in the first place; they ought to explore what Trump failed to do with his time in office, and how someone else might improve upon it; they ought to get into the habit of talking to their neighbors, friends, and co-ideologues about why a third nomination would be a terrible idea; and, above all, they ought to concentrate on the issues that conservatives care about — inflation, wages, education policy, abortion, zoning, the courts, energy production, immigration, and the scourge of race-and-gender-obsessed identity politics — and make clear that they care dearly about them, too.’
Ah, yes, the issues. Under Trump, inflation was in check and employment was on the rise. Trump brought due process back to Title IX, rooted out CRT in education, and pushed a pro-American curriculum in K–12 schools. He put three pro-life judges on the Supreme Court and blocked funds to Planned Parenthood over abortion referrals. He placed over 200 conservative judges on federal courts and kept gas prices low through American energy independence and support for clean fossil fuels. And of course, he secured the border and lobbied for merit-based immigration. As for identity politics, no one disrupted wokism and smashed through political correctness like Trump.
The only valid argument against Trump is that he can’t win, that the fix is in, that the swamp was caught off guard in 2016 and that this won’t happen again, ever. Does this mean conservatives should just give up and let the swamp win? No, it does not. The fight must go on. What the swamp is doing to Trump will ultimately be done to DeSantis or Cruz, or any other conservative who dares follow Trump’s lead.
The idea that Trump is “uniquely unsuited to office” is simply propaganda put forth by those who find him offensive in terms of style, and can’t argue against the merit of his policies or his power in fighting leftist radical progressivism head on.
A third nomination of Trump is what conservatives need the most.”

EXCERPT: “The Dems decided they needed a little presidential revival before the midterms to fire up their base — which isn’t looking very motivated at the moment. They gave President Gremlin a few days of vacation to rest up, a couple of shots of Adderall to switch on long-dormant brain cells, and a few hits of oxygen so he could walk out onto the stage without collapsing.
They trotted Biden out to a friendly audience in a suburb of Washington, D.C., and he gave a real barn-burner of a speech. He was angrier than an old coot screaming at the neighborhood kids to get off of his yard. Apparently, the Democrats think that is a good look for them. I wonder if they’ve considered that this speech may come to define the Biden presidency?
The speech was about those that voted for Donald Trump, but it revealed a great deal more about our presidential sock-puppet himself. We learned that Joe has an advanced case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. He said:
‘We’re seeing now either the beginning or the death knell of an extreme MAGA agenda. It’s not just Trump… It’s almost semi-fascism.’
Our uniter in chief believes anyone who could be counted among the MAGA movement is a fascist — sorry, semi-fascist, if that makes any difference. He doesn’t just hate Donald Trump. He hates anyone who doesn’t hate Donald Trump. And the Democrats endorse this attitude because they’re no longer in the business of winning the competition of ideas. They’re in the business of amassing and applying raw governmental power.
Our “return to normalcy” president is clearly comfortable fomenting hatred towards others. Those others would be anyone who is part of the opposition party — all 74 million of them who voted for Trump. Is there any other possible outcome he could be trying to achieve? By calling anyone with a red baseball cap a fascist, he’s using the same dehumanizing language that tyrants have used throughout history to incite the masses against their enemies. Our President is telling half the country that the other half is a danger to them. Never once did he mention in his address to the crowd that the greatest danger to himself is the danger of competing ideas.
Biden followed that up with this whopper:
‘Trump and the extreme MAGA Republicans have made their choice — to go backwards full of anger, violence, hate and division, while Democrats have chosen to be a nation of unity and hope.’
Let me repeat that. He really said that Democrats have chosen “hope and unity,” as he called everybody that voted Republican a fascist –- sorry, semi-fascist.
In the name of hope and unity he then proceeded to tell the crowd how despicable the MAGA movement is, and that it must be crushed. He didn’t encourage the mob to engage Republicans in debate. He didn’t suggest that they attempt to understand the opposition. He most certainly didn’t recommend addressing any of the grievances of the conservative movement. He incited the crowd to hatred so that MAGA could be crushed — all 74 million (and growing) of them — in the name of unity.
Note what Joe didn’t say in his address to the mob. He didn’t condemn the assassination attempt on a Supreme Court justice. He didn’t share his views about a Democrat that tried to murder an entire Republican softball team. He didn’t even comment about his colleague, Missouri State Democratic senator Maria Chappelle-Nidal who said, “I hope Trump is assassinated.” Those all sound like the hopeful actions of a unifying movement, don’t they? Why no mention of them?
————–
These things would have been unthinkable in America prior to 2008. Now they are part of our political fabric. Joe Biden, via what he does and doesn’t say, is calling for more of it. It is not hyperbole to say the obvious — we are nearing our last chance for patriotic Americans to stand up, be heard, and stop this nonsense.
The malaise speech signified the end of Jimmy Carter’s presidency. Here’s to hoping that Joe Biden’s hate speech marks the end of his.”

Reproductive Medicine’s Ethical Failure
By Peter Michael Bleyer, M.D.
“Primum non nocere,” above all do no harm, was the American medical ethics standard in 1965, on the eve of widespread contraceptive use. However, preventing implantation of a newly fertilized ovum in the uterus, one of the lesser modes of action of the birth control pill, sounded ethically troublesome to the obstetricians of the time. With ethics not quite as motivating as that nice Corvette, the American medical establishment simply changed the definition of conception from fertilization to implantation of the new life into the uterus, ignoring the first six days of human life in the fallopian tube, and making the pill easier to market to consumers. This medical ethics malpractice dishonored the physician and ushered in a more lucrative vision for the reproductive system. Today, after 60 years of ethical disinterest, reproductive healthcare has become the wild west of American medicine, in which money talks, morals walk, and sex is big business.
As a family physician, I am expected to prescribe risk-filled medications and surgical procedures designed to prevent the healthy function of my patient’s reproductive organ system and/or to destroy its end products. I am supposed to help my patients arrange gender-affirming surgeries that permanently mutilate their reproductive anatomy and deny them the chance for natural children. I am instructed, as it relates to reproductive medicine, to ignore my experience and knowledge and follow blindly the orders given by an often underaged, immature, anxiety riddled patient with minimal medical knowledge. For the body’s ten other organ systems it is not so. Ivermectin, for example, a medication with minimal side effects (unless taken at doses for horses), may not be prescribed because the level to which it improves function of the immunologic organ system is not sufficient to please the authorities.
Years of conditioning and lies have led us to not only accept this distorted vision of reproductive healthcare, but to become blind to the value of human life and the ethical role of a physician in a healthy society. With the medical community unwilling to address this tremendous ethical challenge, the government has been forced to intervene in the practice of medicine as the Supreme Court attempts to secure the basic human right to life for all of the country’s population. Such intervention, although needed currently, is admittedly inadequate, as no legislation can fully resolve the ethical dilemmas that occur frequently in the care of patients. Ironically, but strategically, in the post-Roe v. Wade world, many abortion providers have suddenly begun to make public proclamations about the importance of ethics in the care of half of their patients, as they describe difficult medical situations in which the life of the pregnant mother is at risk.
Clearly, a very small percentage of abortions are performed in ethically challenging situations; it is these cases, which are used to rationalize the remainder and to argue against any legal limitations. For these situations, however, it is hard to imagine a case in which a mother can only be saved by killing her child rather than simply delivering the baby and providing supportive care. Even an ectopic pregnancy, which by its location outside the uterus is not considered a pregnancy per the 1965 definition, can be surgically removed without deliberate killing of the new life. Ideally, a physician would be able to present these ethical dilemmas to self-governing medical ethics boards composed of colleagues, spiritual representatives, and other experts to help guide him in the proper care. How disappointing it is to realize, however, that without a universal respect for human life among physicians, it is for the legal system to decide what is appropriate in challenging medical ethics cases.
Recently, South Carolina Rep. Neal Collins received national attention for his emotional testimony describing the many sleepless nights he experienced worrying about a 19-year-old pregnant mother whose “water broke” at 15 weeks (Preterm premature rupture of membranes), a case described to him by a local emergency room physician. The doctor wanted to euthanize the fetus because of its bleak prognosis and the risk of serious infection in the mother, but was advised by legal not to do so because of the state’s heartbeat bill. Rather than accept the physician’s proper offer for hospital admission to help mitigate health risks from the failing pregnancy, the mother chose to be discharged with instructions for close follow up. Within two weeks the baby died and was subsequently delivered at the hospital; the mother had no physical complications.
Despite using the case to express his regret for previous support of the state’s heartbeat bill, Rep. Collins never explains how a surgical abortion would have benefitted either the mother or child. Rather, the episode illustrates another instance in which killing a baby is not necessary to protect the life of a pregnant mother. More importantly, however, it is the heartbeat bill, which will allow this young mother, for the rest of her long life, to find comfort knowing she did everything possible to save the life of her child. As the medical director of a crisis pregnancy center, I am sadly familiar with the anxiety and sleepless nights experienced by many post-abortion mothers, as they ruminate over what could have been, if permission had not been given for their child to be aborted.
Despite the emotional description of difficult cases, most abortions are performed in a medical ethics wasteland, in which abortionists, who know better than anyone the humanity which exists in the uterus, assess certain lives to have less value than others. The power and money that comes with being the final arbiter of who gets to live and who is to die has proven disastrous for many children and mothers, and has been devastating to our society. Of course, admitting to this view of humanity puts those who hold such positions in union with many of history’s most ruthless people. For this reason, abortionists always avoid questions regarding the humanity of the child they dismantle, resorting rather to half-truths and euphemisms, recited as part of emotional and unscientific arguments to defend their work.
Part of its plan for a post-Roe world, in stark contrast to an emotionally targeted public-relations campaign highlighting health risks of pregnant mothers, is the abortion industry’s efforts to minimize these same health risks as they seek relaxed regulations for the two-drug (RU-486 and misoprostol) chemical abortion regimen. Nothing exposes the lie that abortion is about women’s health more than the industry’s goal to make these dangerous pills available online without an in-person visit. Without exact dating, the mother’s risk for infection due to retained fetal products increases. Without ultrasound to confirm an intrauterine location, ectopic pregnancy complications increase. Without psychological support, an unprepared woman seeing her dead baby in the toilet can be devastating. Most tragically, however, making these pills available simply with an online request, takes away what may be the one opportunity an abused woman has to seek deliverance from an abuser, who would otherwise force her to ingest these pills and destroy evidence of his abuse.
I do not understand my colleagues who promote and perform abortions. I do not understand how large organizations like the American Academy of Family Practice, which waxes proudly about care for the whole family, can ask their members to abdicate responsibility in caring for those unborn family members, who apparently have less value. And I do not know how to convince my colleagues that all life is created equal with certain unalienable rights, including the right to life. Until I do, and physicians ethically govern themselves as we are morally required to do, I pray for my colleagues’ conversion, and sadly must support government involvement in medicine to ensure protection of all innocent human life.”

Well, another jar of grape jelly down….Orioles are still here! I’m also seeing some small red berries on the Honeysuckle vines. I don’t remember them ever having them before – but they’re only on the older vines so maybe they have to be fully mature first. Supposedly they have a very sweet flavor, similar to the flowers.

Entire Article @ BB: “Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Gov. Chris Sununu (R-NH) questioned the timing of the FBI’s raid on former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence.
Sununu said, “If you’re going to take unprecedented action and raid a former president’s house, you better have a strategy for unprecedented transparency. I think we’re all concerned about what might be in those documents. Some were classified, some weren’t, what the serious nature was, but show us! You’ve got to be able to show your cards when you’re taking actions like this.”
What’s the subject matter? What’s the dates? What’s the times? What are we talking about here?”
I’m not saying put all the documents on the Internet, but give us some sense of the subject matter. Give us some sense of the timing. Give us some sense of what really drove us in there.”
Sununu added, “Let’s remember this has been a year and a half in the making. Former President Trump has been out of office for going on two years now. You think this is a coincidence just happening a few months before the midterm elections and all that sort of thing? So, you know, this is unprecedented. They had to have an unprecedented strategy, which they clearly didn’t have. They’re on their heels. They don’t know what to do. We want to see the information so we can have this discussion. We can talk about the subject matter with some sense.”

EXCERPT: “My Son Hunter director Robert Davi (Licensed to Kill, Die Hard, The Goonies) appeared on Rudy Giuliani’s podcast “Common Sense” this week to highlight behind the scenes details about the feature length film about the Biden family’s international web of corruption, saying the movie “is told through the eyes of a 25-year-old left-wing activist, who is working as a stripper to pay for her college loan.”
Davi praised the performances of star Laurence Fox (Victoria, Inspector Lewis, The Professor and the Madman) as Hunter Biden and actress Emma Gojkovic, the stripper Hunter befriends.
“She meets up with Hunter Biden at a strip joint the night that Joe Biden finds out that the laptop has been discovered and there’s going to be some noise about it,” Davi says of Gojkovic’s character.
“I take us through the journey of his relationship with her and his lifestyle. She doesn’t know who Hunter is at first and then she starts to research, and now we uncover the hidden story and it is as if the laptop explodes onto the screen,” Davi continues.”
——————-
Giuliani, who had a major role in real life revealing the Hunter Biden laptop to the public, remarked that making the movie must have required “more courage than taking on the mafia.”
“Today’s politicians, the government, is worse than the mafia was,” Davi replied.
My Son Hunter came together when producers Phelim McAleer and Ann McElhinney approached Davi last year about directing, after they had seen an earlier movie he directed, The Dukes. “I read the script and wanted to do different things with it,” Davi recalled, saying he wanted to make it more entertaining while also not reflexively demonizing certain aspects of Hunter’s life, like his drug addiction.
My Son Hunter details how ultimately, “the media has betrayed the American people, in not getting the story out about that laptop,” Davi said. The movie serves as an “indictment of media, [and an] indictment of politics.”

EXCERPTS: “My Son Hunter director Robert Davi recounted hearing about yet another potentially misplaced Hunter Biden laptop left at a house Hunter was reportedly renting. The License to Kill actor explained that he learned of this other potential Hunter laptop from an actress he was working with when he was casting the part of Grace Anderson in My Son Hunter (played by Emma Gojkovic).
“During research for the film, I had one time that I was working with an actress, when I was looking for the character of Grace Anderson. It happened that her friend rented one of the houses to Hunter Biden, and they found a backpack with drugs and another laptop in there,” Davi said.
His remarks came during a My Son Hunter panel discussion on Truth Social hosted by former California congressman and current Truth Social CEO Devin Nunes that also included Donald Trump Jr.; Government Accountability Institute President, Breitbart Senior Contributor, and bestselling author of Red Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win Peter Schweizer; and Breitbart Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow.
——————
The comment led panel host Devin Nunes to ask bestselling author Peter Schweizer—who was the first to report on Hunter Biden’s corrupt business dealings with foreign governments at a time when his vice president father was negotiating U.S. foreign policy with those regimes—to explain just how many Hunter laptops have reportedly been misplaced.
“My understanding is there are three laptops that Hunter Biden has misplaced,” Schweizer said. “And, of course, this leads to a lot of speculation: Is he intentionally leaving these things behind? I mean, we have no way of knowing.” Schweizer identified the three known laptops: First, there was the infamous “laptop from hell” that Hunter abandoned at the Delaware repair shop.
Second, there was the laptop Hunter referenced in a video from 2019 obtained by the Daily Mail, in which he told a prostitute that he feared Russian drug dealers stole his laptop during a wild partying spree he had in Las Vegas.
Finally, there was a laptop that Hunter left at his therapist’s office in Newburyport, Massachusetts, that was obtained by federal authorities when the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency raided the doctor’s office on an unrelated matter.”

Entire Article @ BB: “A Pakistani immigrant, given naturalized American citizenship, pleaded guilty this week to plotting a terrorist attack for the Islamic State (ISIS) in Queens, New York City. Pakistani-born Awais Chudhary, 22 years old, pleaded guilty in federal court to providing material support to ISIS.
Chudhary is an immigrant from Pakistan who was awarded naturalized American citizenship, likely through the process known as “chain migration” where newly naturalized citizens can bring, on green cards, an unlimited number of foreign relatives to the United States.
According to prosecutors, in August 2019, Chudhary plotted to carry out a knife attack on American citizens at a Dunkin’ Donuts near his parents’ home in the East Elmhurst neighborhood of Queens. In one instance, Chudhary researched where best to stab the human body to inflict the most harm.
Chudhary also allegedly plotted to target specific places with what he called “bucket bombs,” dropping them over bridges that run above the Grand Central Parkway and the Flushing Bay Promenade. The attack would have involved Chudhary dropping bombs onto oncoming traffic.
Prosecutors said Chudhary had scoped out all the locations he planned to attack and ordered the knife he planned to use as well as tactical gear, including a body harness to hold a cellphone so he could live stream the attacks on social media. Chudhary faces up to 20 years in prison.”

In 2021, former Virginia governor Ralph Northam passed a law linking the Commonwealth to California’s vehicle emissions standards. It would require all new cars in the state to be run electric by the year 2035.
The current administration is trying to reverse the change. A statement to FOX 5 from Victoria LaCivita, a spokesperson with Attorney General Jason Mayares’s office reads:
“In 2021, Governor Northam and the far-left controlled General Assembly signed a law that binds Virginia to California’s emission vehicle regulations, which, among other things, bans the sale of gas-powered cars in Virginia by 2035. The Attorney General is hopeful that the General Assembly repeals this law and discontinues any trend that makes Virginia more like California. Unelected California bureaucrats should not be dictating the will of Virginians.”
“House Republicans will advance legislation in 2023 to put Virginians back in charge of Virginia’s auto emission standards and its vehicle marketplace. Virginia is not, and should not be, California.”
