Do you have Corvettes at Carlisle on your bucket list? Corvettes at Carlisle will be held August 25-27 at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds, and it’s the largest all-Corvette themed event in the world!

Fairgrounds Layout

The Carlisle PA Fairgrounds have multiple entry gates at all points of the fence line. If you are showing a car, Gate 3 is THE gate to enter. If you’re a spectator, Gates 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7 all provide access. The 82-acre facility has 8,100 spaces, many of which will include special guests, displays, vendors, and Corvettes, lots and lots of Corvettes.

The fairgrounds will be packed and will offer a huge automotive flea market with a wide variety of vendors, an all-Corvette car corral, and more. 

Rev up the action at the Corvette Show with autocross. Experienced drivers can test their driving skills while beginners can learn more about the sport. They can even compete to become the King of the X.

Corvettes at Carlisle also offers great shopping opportunities. Buy a car and everything to go with it from the variety of vendors filling the fairgrounds. The car corral offers notary services including temporary tags so you can shop, compare and make the deal directly with the owner.

This event is great for the whole family and features a kids’ section with crafts, contests, and a play area, and the Women’s Oasis Tent with massages, makeovers, shopping, and more. Don’t miss the Corvette Parade on Saturday night through Downtown Carlisle, which culminates into a giant street party with great music, food, and more than 400 Corvettes.

  1. Morning All!
    well, we finally saw them. just as we were leaving yesterday, after hearing the frenzied yipping of the coyotes, I saw one in the front yard. I called for hubby and the dang thing HEARD me–they have awesome hearing. He trotted down the driveway just outside the treeline. So we left. We just rounded the hairpin turn when we saw 2 of them on the right and hubby spotted a third further down the driveway on the left.
    Thing is the truck didn’t seem to spook them much. they went into the woods but as we drove, I watched them just watching …i mean they went into the woods and stopped to watch us…creepy!

    1. Good morning, Pat! I’ve decided not to do a run to Norfolk today & pick up a few things local instead. I do NOT like coyotes – sneaky, sly creatures. We got some rain overnight and should get more later today – slight chance of hail and a random tornado. I’ve never been partial to Corvettes myself – my older brother had one after he came back from ‘Nam. He wrecked it….LOL!

        i think i have an open on sunday about coyotes…when we first came up here, the neighbor (hunting cabin neighbor) would have coyote drives every fall…and t pretty much kept the population controlled…not so much now…we gotta tell him before he brings the scouts up to camp

          1. yeah, we’re going to contact him this weekend. he bush hogged the field across the street from the cabin–usually the fathers and sons camp out there. later in the fall they go hunting…time to get the durn things is now

          2. my son-in-law shot one at the farm–it’s mounted now–his was a little smaller than these we saw and more gray. yesterdays were reddish…not as pretty as a fox and larger…but definitely not fearful

          1. Still a little sore. Think she got some tendons stretched. She’s worried about driving the 9 hrs following me when we go. I get cracked out on coffee and “Iron Man” it, but she is only used to driving between home and Knoxville. We will need to make use of the rest areas.

              1. In my younger days, I struggle a little bit nowadays and actually stretch out a bit when filling gas…lol. I tend to leave early in the morning, 1am or so when traffic is light. I have more trouble driving if I leave in the daytime or evening.

                my son is one…got it at Lake Placid…we watched him. he’s not a competitor or anything. he just wanted to prove he could do it. he’s a good swimmer, an awesome cyclist, but the running? that was the worst part–and to have to run a marathon at the end? about near killed him. but to see the look on his face when he crossed the finish line and they read his name and said he was an iron man? PRICELESS!

              4. my son used to ride his bike to work–even in the snow. one sunny june day several years ago, a semi hit him…he flew 20 ft in the air. fractured a bone in his pelvis and something in his shoulder. (the driver wasn’t even going to stop! oncoming traffic that saw it prevented him from leaving thank goodness) marathon running is out, swimming he does for fun, but not for speed anymore and he rides infrequently…life changes in an istant

    In this article he talks about the differences in the original complaint filed in March and the amended complaint filed on June 21…the day BEFORE Reinhart recused from the RICO case.

    Interestingly enough, a statement was added :

    Trump made no mention in the original complaint of his decision in late 2020 to declassify government agency files on the conduct of Russiagate and Spygate (a major segment of which was encompassed by Crossfire Hurricane).

    The amended complaint continued to focus on the actions of individuals, but the added detail would leave someone who’d never read up on this topic before with his jaw hanging open, aghast at the picture that emerges of what the government was doing.

    Heche and Republican Jackie Walorski’s deaths may be linked. Jackie Walorski, whose notable service as a Christian missionary in Romania with her husband, was elected to the US Congress and sponsored the “Human Trafficking Prevention, Intervention, and Recovery Act of 2014.”

    During the past year, Walorski had been in contact with Anne Heche, who has been filming “Girl In Room 13” about child sex slavery and trafficking. Watching MTG on Tucker – she is introducing a bill, the “Protect Childrens’ Innocence Act,” that would make it a Class C felony for any person who is involved in “gender affirming care” like puberty blockers, gender mutilation surgery, hormones, etc. for anyone under the age of 18. She only has 5 co-sponsors right now and is trying to convince the GOP to sponsor/support it.

  25. I’m thinking my peaches aren’t going to get much bigger – some are starting to fall. I’ve picked about 8 that looked close, that I could reach with my 6′ ladder. I put them on the windowsills in the patio, hoping they’ll ripen some and soften up a bit. But it’s looking like it’s gonna be a bust for my ice cream! Guess I’ll just have to buy the peaches instead.

    In the Thursday ruling, Judge Terry Doughty of the Western District of Louisiana, a Trump appointee, permanently blocked the January 2021 order in 13 states that sued over the order last March. The states in question are Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Georgia, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, and West Virginia. It does not apply to any states uninvolved in the lawsuit.

    In his ruling, Doughty ruled the order in violation of the Mineral Leasing Act (MLA) and Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act (OCSLA), saying it took steps reserved for Congress.

    “Both statutes require Government Defendants’ agencies to sell oil and gas leases. The OCSLA has a Five-Year Plan in effect that requires eligible leases to be sold. Government Defendants’ agencies have no authority to make significant revisions in the OCSLA Five-Year Plan without going through the procedure mandated by Congress,” Doughty wrote.

    “The MLA requires the [Interior Department] to hold lease sales, where eligible lands are available at lease quarterly. By stopping the process, the agencies are in effect amending two Congressional statutes. Neither the OCSLA nor the MLA gives the Government Defendants’ agencies the authority to implement a Stop of lease sales,” he added.

    ‘A federal appeals court ruled Friday that the Justice Department must make public an internal memo senior lawyers there prepared in 2019 about whether then-President Donald Trump’s actions investigated in Mueller’s probe amounted to crimes prosecutors would ordinarily charge.

    ‘Chief Judge Sri Srinivasan said the department’s initial claim that the memo was part of Barr’s decision on whether to prosecute Trump turned out to be inaccurate and a subsequent claim that it was intended to counsel Barr on what public statements to make about the issue came too late in the litigation.

    “As the Department concedes, it never in fact considered charging President Trump with obstruction of justice or any other crime,” the judge said in a 28-page opinion joined by Judges David Tatel and Judith Rogers, appointees of President Bill Clinton.’

  31. Love the red Stingray that was under the yellow tent! I like the 60’s and 70’s the best. My dad had an 86 he bought from his BIL a couple of years before he passed, (Dad). I used to call it his “Barbie Vette” even though it was silver and not barbie pink. It was convertible and had a 350 in IIRC.

    2. Tee-hee….speaking of a “Barbie Vette”…….remember those electric Barbie convertibles you could buy for kids? We found one at a yard sale for $3 and bought it for my grandson! His Mom’s friends just wouldn’t have that – it was either paint that sucker black or get him a jeep…..they got him a jeep! LOL

      This was his Christmas present – the leather jacket from Tom, I got him the bike – he rode it on our deck. I had ordered it and it was scheduled for delivery on Christmas day. I told him to keep watch out the window for a big brown truck to come down the driveway.

    I had a good friend who had a Corvette – Kodak yellow… in the 70s … closest I ever came to Corvette …

    I did have an Alfa Romeo convertible in the late 70s, a green Karmann Ghia conv, before the Alfa … and a yellow MG conv before that … (yeah Hubby spoiled me good !)

  36. EXCERPT: “A U.K. rock singer who goes by the name Zion died from a “catastrophic brain injury” caused by the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine, an inquest concluded. The 48-year-old man from Alston in Cumbria, a county in North West England, developed an “excruciating” headache on May 13, 2021, eight days after receiving the AstraZeneca vaccine. Although he took painkillers, Zion’s headaches increased in severity and four days later, his speech was impaired and he started having seizures.

    Zion died May 19, 2021, despite emergency surgery to try to treat his “vaccine-induced immune thrombotic thrombocytopenia,” which causes swelling and bleeding in the brain. After his death, his fiancée, 39-year-old Vikki Spit, said she had spent only one night apart from him in their 21 years together and that her life was “smashed into a million pieces” by his death, according to the Daily Mail. Spit is the first person in the U.K. to receive compensation for a COVID-19 vaccine death.

    During the Aug. 17 inquest, the panel heard how Zion was generally fit and well with no significant previous medical history. An inquest is a formal investigation conducted by a coroner to determine how someone died. The purpose of an inquest is limited to establishing the identity of the deceased individual as well as where, when and how they died.

    A paramedic who was initially called to Zion’s home on May 15, 2021, told the inquest panel Zion was “alert and sat” up when the paramedics arrived, the Daily Mail reported. She said she advised Zion to go to the hospital for further testing, but he said he did not want to go for fear of getting COVID-19. The paramedic also told the court she did not receive official guidance regarding the AstraZeneca vaccine and its potential severe risks until around July 2021.

    Spit said the paramedic was “adamant” the migraine had nothing to do with the vaccine and that she and Zion both “believed her.” She added, “He was prepared to go to [the] hospital if the advice was to do so.” However, the paramedic denied Spit’s claim.

    A clinical review of the North East Ambulance Service’s handling of the initial paramedic call was later carried out and concluded the paramedic did a “thorough assessment” and that there were “no concerns.” Two days later, on May 17, Spit called for paramedics again. Upon arriving at the home, the paramedic described Zion as “dazed and confused.” Zion began having a seizure and was immediately taken by ambulance to the hospital.

    He was later transferred to Royal Victoria Infirmary (RVI) in Newcastle-upon-Tyne where Dr. Damian Holliman, a neurosurgeon at the hospital, performed emergency brain surgery on Zion, but the bleeding in the brain had already caused it to swell. Holliman said he was “fully aware” that Zion’s blood clot “was the result of his recent vaccination.”

    Two other RVI consultants, including Dr. Christopher Johnson, an intensive care consultant, also presented evidence at the hearing and said they agreed with Holliman’s assessment. Johnson said he “shared the view” that the blood clot Zion developed was “vaccine-induced,” adding that at the time, guidance on how to manage the condition was rapidly changing due to it being a “developing situation.” Johnson declared Zion dead on the morning of May 19.

    Senior coroner Karen Dilks concluded, “Zion died due to very rare and aggressive complications of the AstraZeneca covid vaccination.”

    A major motion pertaining to the Fourth Amendment will soon be filed concerning the illegal Break-In of my home, Mar-a-Lago, right before the ever important Mid-Term Elections. My rights, together with the rights of all Americans, have been violated at a level rarely seen before in our Country. Remember, they even spied on my campaign. The greatest Witch Hunt in USA history has been going on for six years, with no consequences to the scammers. It should not be allowed to continue!
