  9. this is disgusting…Kalamazoo Michigan makes littering, urinating, and defecating misdemeanors now, because those committing those crimes might be negatively affected. let me translate for you–we’ll probably be seeing more illegals here and we don’t want to alienate them for being animals—they should be allowed to poop in the streets…live like pigs if they wish…and we because we want federal $$, we’re gonn let them. deal with it.

    The city of Kalamazoo, Michigan, has decriminalized littering, public defecation, and urination, despite various business owners decrying the policy.

    On Monday, the Kalamazoo City Commission voted to water down some misdemeanor crimes so that they are merely civil infractions in the code of ordinances. Part of their reasoning was that people convicted of these crimes could have their lives negatively affected.

    “One thing a lot of people don’t realize is a misdemeanor is for life as much as a felony. So many things come with a permanent record on somebody’s record,” explained Commissioner Chris Praedel.

    The commission voted unanimously to accept the changes.

    we were just out on the deck trying to figure out what the hell was wailing…because of where we live, the sound echoed all around us…hubby thinks coyotes, but we rarely hear them anymore, let alone in the daytime. something sounded large and in pain…awful sound…and underneath that was a mechanical sound–an atv, a small truck…
    then it just stopped.

  12. Top of the morning to you, my friends! I have some fantastic news – I HAVE MY SWEET PIPER BACK!!!!! We finally connected – she called me and we had an absolutely delightful almost hour-long conversation. I apologized for hurting her, she thanked me and accepted my apology, then said this is all now water under the bridge and we will move forward from here. I had left several VM’s explaining what happened and actually cried in one of them. She and SIL were in the car when he played those VM’s thru the car’s speakers and she heard me cry. She said I had to promise not to cry the first time she comes up here – I told her that was a promise I would be unable to keep and she laughed!!!

    Thanks to that POS phone company recommended by those who shall not be named, I almost missed this opportunity!!! Recall that I have been unable to set up VM or download text attachments since I got this phone – I spent literally hours on the phone with their tech support in January until finally giving up. Recall that on Tuesday, I had 4 back-to-back attempted contacts from Piper’s phone – of course, I immediately called and left a msg, with no apparent response. Oh, there was a response but, due to the failures of Patriot Mobile, I did not get the notification of 2 additional messages from SIL.

    Yesterday, I finally decided to try again and a very nice young man finally discovered the problem: THEY neglected to switch my account to the latest phone!!!! Immediately after they made that switch and a re-boot of my phone, those 2 additional messages appeared from Tuesday! Can you imagine my anger when I realized that I could have completely missed this opportunity due to their failure???? SIL/P may have thought I was ignoring them!!! No, it was NOT pretty and I had a full-on meltdown, including floods of tears. When I cry, you KNOW it’s bad!!!

    To top it all off…..needless to say, I desperately needed to talk to someone – but no-one was answering! Oh, my sister did, but all she wanted to do was give advice (“well call him” – duh, you idiot! Like I didn’t do THAT immediately??!!?? Yeah, I screamed at her!) I tried Michael, Marilyn, Patty……no-one was answering! So I decided to call Marica! I clicked on her name in my contacts list, hit send…..when the call was answered, I promptly went into my rant….but somewhere in the back of mind, there was a nagging feeling that her voice didn’t sound quite right….no matter (maybe she hadn’t had her nightly toddy yet), I continued to rage and rant and cry and….well, I’m sure you can imagine.

    After almost 20 minutes, I calmed down enough to say “how is your Mom?” “She’s in quarantine.” Huh? Why would she be in quarantine……that’s odd. “But your Mom lives with you, right?” “No, she’s in the nursing home. They let you visit at your own risk but you have to wear goggles, mask, gown…..” Another Huh?? Then the voice difference popped into my mind……”Is this Marica?” “No, this is Marla!”

    HOLY SHIT!!!! I had been talking to my HAIR DRESSER the whole time!!!!! She was fully aware of what I was talking about since I told her about the missed calls from P on Tuesday when she cut my hair. She has met Piper and trimmed her hair once. I was sooooo embarrassed……my language was atrocious, of course! I knew she wasn’t a prude by any means but I always modify my language here in town – as I told her, I’d like to maintain at least a semblance of a good reputation in town! But she and her husband are true Christians and I certainly didn’t want to offend her. Thankfully, she reassured me it was no problem and “don’t you think I use that kind of language sometimes, too?”

    What a day, my friends! What a day! Lowest of the lows and the highest of the highs! My calendar now has a HUGE red star drawn on July 22!!!!

      1. Thank you, Pat! I am soooo happy this roller-coaster ride has ended!!!! I spoke at length with Seth as well. He ended the call with “I love you.” Of course, I said it back but……his definition of love is NOT the same as mine – he did the cruelest thing anyone could ever do to me and I honestly don’t know if I can ever forgive him for that. Regardless, that sentiment will be put aside and I will do whatever is necessary for my sweet girl.

  17. Good morning y’all! Haven’t been on much lately. We had a set-back Wednesday night/Thursday morning. We had a flash flood…6.5-7.1 in/hr in the area we live in. Got a little bit of water in the basement/garage and it got a couple of our boxes of clothes wet. Didn’t expect to have to deal with that! The flood washed away our bridge and several of our neighbors. We all have little foot bridges over the creek in our back yards. Having to work on my wash machine due to the water. Anyhow, it wasn’t that bad damage wise, my neighbor had it worse with water coming into their home…

      1. Timing sucks! Had to take time away from packing and such to deal with this for a couple of days. No real damage however except maybe the wash machine. Have it apart drying now.

  27. I just called Patriot Mobile and requested someone in management. I warned her from the gitgo that this was NOT going to be pleasant and to get ready for incoming. She was very kind, listened politely, and then apologized profusely. I told her “You owe me!” for the despair you caused and warned her that if they didn’t make this right, I lived on the internet all day, every day and I would spread it far and wide that PM was not to be trusted. She agreed and they are giving me a free month as well as $5 off every month for a year. Satisfaction! I did apologize numerous times for my anger but she said I did not need to apologize, it was they who owed me the apology. Very gracious and helpful! So, time will tell….

    Rich told Just the News on Friday night that the outcome of his experiment could be industry-changing. “Here I am with no record label, no publisher, no marketing deal,” he said. “I just got a song that speaks to a lot of people, and Truth and Rumble pushed it out there. And man, I’m really proud of what we did today.”

    Rich said that while most country fans and artists have remained true to the roots of country music and its values, the marketing and distribution machines have increasingly become woke. So he suspected that traditional radio station groups, record labels and social media like Twitter would shun or shadowban his new song and its conservative-friendly theme. That’s when the idea of trying Truth Social and Rumble as an experiment was born.

    “When I’m talking about them shutting down our voices, I’m talking about Twitter and YouTube and Facebook,” Rich said. “And I thought, you know what, I’m gonna reach out to Truth Social and reach out to Rumble because they still allow free speech over there. Why would I launch this song on the platforms that I’m railing against in the lyrics?”

    The payoff from Friday’s experiment, he said, could inspire other artists like him. “I think without a doubt, it is a path forward,” Rich said. “It is bypassing this machine that they’ve built, going right around the machine, going right to the people. “It means that if you bring the right content, and you have people like Truth and Rumble that will get that message to your core audience, you can beat the machine that’s been put in place to keep people like me shut down.” Rich said.

    Rich explained the inspiration for the song after spending months watching Democrats implement policies that opened borders, worsened the fentanyl crisis, grew crime, exploded gas and food prices, infringed free speech and indoctrinated children about issues like race and gender.

    “I’m watching what I consider to be the dismantling of our country at a lot of different levels,” he said. “And when you sit back and look at it, the vast majority of it’s being perpetuated on us under the banner of ‘progress.’ Like in the name of progress we’re going to send gasoline through the roof so you have to buy an electric car.

    “In the name of progress, we’re going to let anybody and everybody into our country, and if that means we get overrun with fentanyl, and every other bad thing, well, so be it. Because that’s progressive: You need to be open-minded and open borders, in the name of progress. They target our kids in the name of progress, they do all these things that are actually the opposite of that. They’re regressive. They’re not constructive, they’re destructive.”

    Rich is proud of the song and the fact that his free-speech experiment is potentially game-changing. His next mission in coming days, he said, is to persuade reluctant country radio stations to play the song.

    “Here’s the problem with country radio,” he said. “It’s not your DJs at the radio station. It’s not the people on the ground at the station. It’s the people way up the food chain that run the conglomerates that have bought up 90% of all of our radio stations. Those people generally — there’s a few good ones in there. And when I say good, I mean, you know, lean conservative. They want free space, they want artists to be heard. But there’s a big [contingent] of them that do not like anybody bucking their woke system.”

    Rich isn’t the first artist to raise concerns that the Nashville recording and radio industry is leaning more liberal.

    Rising Christian and country singer Natasha Owners told Just the News earlier this month that artists are deviating from traditional faith-based values due to an increasingly liberal culture seeping through Nashville, describing the tortured path she had to follow to get a recently released patriotic song aired.

    “I blame it completely on the culture that Nashville is turning into,” she said. “It’s very woke. It’s very — I call it hipsterish — and so it’s a culture that’s changing, with everybody from around the country, around the globe, kind of invading Nashville and moving into it.”

    “SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT — A Lycoming County man awaiting sentencing for illegally entering the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, has died. The death Wednesday of Mark R. Aungst, 47, of South Williamsport, was ruled a suicide, Coroner Charles E. Kiessling Jr. said.

    Aungst pleaded guilty June 27 in District of Columbia federal court to a charge of demonstrating or parading in a restricted building. His sentencing was scheduled for Sept. 27 before Judge Reggie B. Walton. He could have been sentenced up to six months in prison and fined $5,000. Aungst and co-defendant Tammy A. Bronsburg, who pleaded guilty to the same charge, traveled by bus to Washington on Jan. 6, 2021 for President Trump’s “stop the steal” rally. They then joined others and marched to the Capitol.

    Assistant U.S. Attorney Mona Furst said the prosecution had evidence showing Aungst and Bronsburg entering the Capitol through the Senate fire door by the parliamentarian’s office approximately 2:45 p.m. and leaving 30 seconds later. Twenty minutes later they re-entered the building through the Senate wing door, and took photos and videos on their cell phones as they walked through the Capitol and into Senate Room 145.

    Bronsburg later posted a video she took in the Capitol on Facebook and when Aungst returned to the bus he showed others his pictures, said Furst. Neither assaulted a police officer nor stole or damaged government property, the prosecutor had said at a previous court proceeding.

    Aungst, a gas field well service technician, is survived by his mother, a daughter and three siblings.”

    “Yeah, you’re talking right about the Colbert [team] and there is a two tiered system of justice in DC when it comes to prosecution,” he said. “You know, the best message that could have been sent to the entire nation would have been to hold the Colbert nine accountable because the Capitol Police arrested these individuals, after telling them numerous times don’t come back.”

    Georgia GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene used similar language in her Thursday appearance on the show, discussing both the Colbert crew and the case of Tim Hysom, a Democratic hill staffer who defaced posters outside her office. Hysom also did not face charges.

    “I do not feel safe. I’ve asked for protection over and over again, because of how many death threats I have,” Greene said. “And the sergeant in arms does not give me protection like they do the Democrat women. So it’s a two tier justice system.”

    Bannon, for his part, hosted the Friday edition of “War Room,” his show on the Real America’s Voice Network, immediately after being found guilty. He opened the show by thanking the jury, adding “I respect their decision, given the evidence and the information they were presented in the room.”

    Putin and MBS reportedly discussed maintaining agreements between OPEC+ countries — members of the oil cartel and an affiliated group including Russia — to “maintain stability on the global market,” according to Russian news agency Tass.

      2. here’s my plan. put gov’t workers on a piece rate plan. every customer (that’d be a taxpayer) they assist they receive so much an hour—BUT the taxpayer decides if the employee was helpful or not.
        AND other workers would be tasked with retrieving stolen SS benefits on a bounty basis.

    News reports about his death, which is listed as “following a brief illness” with no other details given, do as nearly all corporate media reporting has done in such circumstances. They mention the death, shoot past the mysterious nature of it, then spend the article talking about their careers and reactions from friends. Here are the first five paragraphs from The State that follow this formula:

    Former South Carolina quarterback Phil Petty died Thursday. He was 43 years old.

    Petty was a three-year starter at quarterback under coach Lou Holtz at South Carolina and led the Gamecocks to back-to-back Outback Bowl victories against Ohio State during the 2000 and 2001 seasons.   40. Entire Article from April 2020: “The U.S. Air Force is getting new reconnaissance planes equipped to detect atomic explosions. Well, the planes themselves aren’t exactly new. In fact, they’re 1960s-vintage aerial refuelers. But they’re more modern than are the Air Force’s existing nuke-sniffing recce aircraft. And they could revitalize an important mission as the world races to rearm with new atomic weapons.

    The three WC-135Rs, based on the airframes of three former U.S. Air National Guard KC-135R tankers, are slated to replace two WC-135C/Ws that fly from Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska. The $220-million conversion effort should be complete by 2022.

    The WC-135s are “bug-catchers,” to borrow Air Force slang. They carry air filters connected to sensors that can detect the radioactive particles that result from nuclear blasts. The WC-135s complement seismic sensors and other methods that help the U.S. government to track atomic tests.

    The WC-135C/Ws entered service starting in 1965, replacing 1950s-vintage WB-50s. The current WC-135s are powered by older J57 engines, while the newer WC-135Rs sport CFM56 engines that are cleaner, more efficient and more powerful than are the J57s. The WC-135Rs also will feature modern cockpits and better communications and navigation gear compared to the WC-135C/Ws. Despite their basic airframes dating back to the 1960s, the WC-135Rs are structurally sound and could continue flying for decades.

    They might stay busy. Various nuclear-test-ban treaties bar member countries such as the United States, Russia, the United Kingdom, France and China from conducting above-ground tests. But underground tests still are legal and, in any event, “rogue” states such as North Korea have not signed on to the test-ban treaties.

    When North Korea in 2006 conducted its first-ever atomic test, an underground blast equivalent to roughly one kiloton of high-explosive, a WC-135 flying from Japan quickly detected radioactive dust from the test. WC-135s since have been regular visitors to the Korean Peninsula as North Korea continues to build up its nuclear arsenal.

    The Air Force’s effort to replace the older WC-135s surely is a welcome initiative at Offutt Air Force Base, which operates many of the flying branch’s oldest but most important reconnaissance aircraft. Offutt is also awaiting replacements for its two aging OC-135s, which fly photographic inspection missions over Russia in order to verify compliance with arms-control treaties. Those missions take place under the auspices of the 1992 Open Skies Treaty.

    The Air Force has secured funding for new Open Skies planes based on business jets. But the administration of Pres. Donald Trump has signalled it might cancel Open Skies, based on the administration’s false belief that the treaty allows Russia to spy on the United States.

    Biden continued speaking while waiting to be transferred to Obama. “I just want you to know that you’re my rock. I love you, man. Sending thoughts and pringles your way. Libbenshneblet. End of note.”

    Sources familiar with the matter claim that by the time Obama picked up the phone, Biden had gotten most of his inappropriate racist comments out of the way. The pair had a friendly conversation in which Biden wished his friend good health and asked how the trip to Saudi Arabia went.

    Dr. Jill Biden reportedly walked in on the conversation and then playfully shook her head in disbelief. “That’s our Joe!” she laughed to herself.

Look, Jack, COVID ain’t going to keep me from destroying American prospects. I had a yellow set up a computer for me at home so I can personally damage the country over Zoom. Not a joke.”

    Both Republicans and Democrats have criticized the president for what they are calling inappropriate comments. Republicans pointed out that Biden’s words were tantamount to dereliction of duty and Democrats were upset that he was making them look bad. Biden shot back by calling everyone “super fat” and threatening to do push-ups until he was dead.

    “Look, here’s the deal,” Biden said later in an Instagram video. “If you didn’t want the country to burn you shouldn’t have voted for me. Come on, man!”

    Former President Trump commented on Truth Social that Biden was showing his true colors. “Biden has the spirit of evil upon him. Verily, I see trouble in our future. Lo, mayhap I shall run again to slay this dragon, believe me. Everyone says so,” Trump truthed.

    Biden has gone dark in the public arena following his two messages to the American people. Reports indicate, however, that he is more active than ever behind the scenes because he enjoys stalking female aides around the White House with his new telepresence robot.

    SHREVEPORT, LA — Plans for a relaxing date night were dashed upon the rocks of parenthood Thursday when Sam and Jen Goldwind witnessed 2-year-old Daenerys vomit just five minutes before leaving. Early reports indicate that the child had patiently waited to vomit until precisely the right moment in a ruse to keep her parents home.

    Jen’s mother had arrived shortly before the incident, ready to play with her precious granddaughter, but was dissuaded by the sheer volume of vomit.

    “I can handle a little throw up,” Grandma Claire later told officials. “But that little girl had a mischievous look in her eyes. I think she planned the whole thing!”

    1. WASHINGTON, D.C. — Former Trump advisor Steve Bannon has been found guilty of contempt of Congress, which is one of the evilest crimes one can commit against Congress. While prosecutors expressed relief at the verdict, they also warned that there are still 330 million Americans with extreme contempt for Congress who are still roaming around freely.

      “At last the monster Steve Bannon who dared to have contempt for the sacred Select Committee will face justice,” said prosecutor Molly Gaston to reporters. “Sadly, he’s not the only danger to our hallowed democracy.       The January 6th Committee has sent subpoenas to every single person in America in order to test their loyalty and make those with contempt easier to find. The DOJ responded by sending letters to FBI field offices across the country with guidance on how to round up these dangerous criminals who despise their elected representatives.

      “Mark my words,” said Attorney General Garland. “Those who don’t like us will be hunted down and brought to justice.”

      GARDEN CITY, KS — Brethren Plumbers, a local plumbing operation known for shoddy work, has denied unethical use of religion in their business dealings despite having a business card prominently featuring an Ichthys, also known as a “Jesus fish.”

      “I was drawn to them because they’re Christians,” said Robert Quint, a sad excuse for a man who can’t even do his own plumbing. “But now I’m starting to think they’re just using the fish to make themselves look really honest. It’s so hard to find a plumber that won’t rip you off so you see a Christian and think they must be on the level.”

      “Not these guys!” he continued. “They said they would fix my toilet, but instead they dug a hole in my bathroom floor and broke my water line. I had to call the atheist plumber down the street to fix it.”

      Brethren Plumbers has an average two-star rating on Yelp. Customer reviews read more like a list of grievances detailing how the plumbers either didn’t complete repairs or made matters worse. A majority of reviews end by saying, “but at least they’re good Christian boys.”

    Veteran Pillsbury spokesman Pop N. Fresh died Wednesday of a severe yeast infection. He was 71. He was buried Friday in one of the biggest funerals in years. Dozens of celebrities turned out including Mrs. Butterworth, the California Raisins, Hungry Jack, Betty Crocker, and the Hostess Twinkies.

    The graveside was piled high with flours, as longtime friend Aunt Jemima delivered the eulogy, describing Fresh as a man who “never knew he was kneaded”. Fresh rose quickly in show business, but his later life was filled with turnovers. He was not considered a smart cookie, and wasted much of his dough on half-baked schemes.

    Still, even as a crusty old man, he was a roll model to millions. Fresh is survived by his second wife. They had two children, and one in the oven. The funeral was at 3:50 for 20 minutes.

    An RAF veteran is giving a talk to a class of school children, and was trying to explain what a typical mission would be like.

    “So there I was, escorting the bombers to their target, when out of the blue we were attacked by a bunch of Fokkers. There were about 20 of these Fokkers. One took out my buddy, but I managed to shoot the Fokker down. Then one was on my tail and I coukdn’t shake the Fokker, but my pal took care of him. Then I took out two more of the Fokkers…”

    The teacher interupts “Children I should explain, the Fokker was a type of figher airplane used by the German Air Force to stop the RAF bombers and their escorts.”

    “Yes, but these Fokkers were Messerschmitts!”
