  1. Morning All!
    last evening, while doing the dishes, I saw a black bear wade into the pond. he stayed close to the edge and began to munch on “pond plant” leaves–I have no idea what they are. they have large leaves, but haven’t ever flowered.
    we went out on the deck and watched and listened as he munched and munched…it was funny–the leaves sounded crunchy…
    then he came out of the pond and walked around it till he found more of the delicious leaves…he was here about 20 minutes eating and swimming…

And I will either get a standing ovation – and I don’t care about the ovation, I care about the country – or people are going to walk out of the room for what I’m about to say. But it’s time finally to say it. If you look at countries all throughout the world…The only ones that don’t have a drug problem are those that institute the death penalty for drug dealers. They’re the only ones, they don’t have any problem.

But it also needs to be legalized at the Federal level to open up the testing and trials. They won’t do that until the FDA and their paid cohorts get control of it.     The Sarasota Herald-Tribune on Thursday published an article asserting that former President Donald Trump removed himself from the board of Trump Media and Technology Group, which owns Truth Social, on June 8, prior to the company receiving a subpoena from the SEC and one from a grand jury in the Southern District of New York pertaining to the firm’s prospective merger with Digital World Acquisitions Corp.

    “Trump, the chairman of Trump Media and Technology Group, was one of six board members removed on June 8, state business records show,” wrote reporter Chris Anderson.

    Truth Social denied the story, noting Trump remained the chairman of the board and was thus, still one of its members.

    “Contrary to an ‘exclusive’ fake news story filed by a reporter who is incapable of understanding state business records, Donald Trump remains on the board of Trump Media and Technology Group. In fact, the reporter acknowledges that Trump’s title is ‘chairman,’ but apparently has no clue what a chairman presides over. Hopefully this helps clarify things,” the post read.

    Anderson wrote that the Herald-Tribune visited the office on June 27, saying “Trump’s company name was not on the registry in the main lobby, nor was there any reference to the name at the office suite itself. There was no receptionist either, just a note to ring the doorbell for assistance.”

    Truth Social, on Friday, posted security footage from the company office which purported to show the Herald-Tribune’s reporter, presumably Anderson, visiting the company office. The 33-second video shows a man enter the camera’s field of vision, look into the windows of the office door briefly, then return to the elevator without making any discernible effort reach anyone inside. Just the News could not confirm the identity of the man in the footage and Truth Social did not post a date with the footage.

    The firm, however, demanded the publication apologize for pushing a “conspiracy theory” and retract the story.

    “The conspiracy theory claiming Donald Trump secretly resigned from the board of TMTG began with this ‘exhaustive’ probe of our office by one of the Sarasota Herald Tribune’s crack reporters, whose investigative skills apparently do not include ringing a doorbell,” the company wrote, apparently referencing the sign to ring the doorbell which Anderson acknowledged in his article.

    “The Herald Tribune, The Hill, CNBC, Reuters, Business Insider, Forbes, and the rest of the fake news outlets should retract and apologize for their false statements — though it won’t absolve them of liability for securities fraud,” the post concluded.”

    Now I have to call the wildlife guy … the traps we put out for armadillos have captured a racoon! (We got one armadillo yesterday)

    Racoon is unhappy, and growled when I tried to Lift the cage (well you just stay in the cage ya ingrate!)

    No bears in the pond, but we do have nice crunchable plant leaves!

    2. Hi, PR! I second Pat’s warning but you know better anyway. I have never seen an armadillo except in pictures.

      I can always find some humor somewhere…..I got off the roller coaster and I’m just sitting pretty right now, waiting to see what happens. Keep an open mind and watch closely at this point. And keep my mind occupied with whatever……catching up on episodes of The UnXplained, Mysteries at the Museum, etc. and getting ideas for opens.

      I’ll need to mow today or, at the latest, tomorrow morning – should do it today and get it done since it’s supposed to be hotter tomorrow. I’ll probably wait until evening. It’s only 81 on my patio at the moment but, with next to no breeze, it’s 91 in the sun!!! And the humidity hasn’t moved out yet either – that’s supposed to happen early next week.

    The latest rumor is that the October surprise will be the arrest of President Trump, so say Julie Kelly and Lee Smith. If this were to happen, what would happen? Would it be the spark that ignites the complacent, compliant people of all walks of life who want to see “justice” served on all who perpetrated what is in my opinion the greatest political hit job on a President of the twenty first century? It seems that the usurpers of both political parties are winning.
    I do not expect that it will. I will however continue to write letters mocking my state officials to my state senators, governor, house rep and no justice DE justice department. I don’t care if people mock me or laugh at me.

The gun is the only personal weapon that puts a 100-pound woman on equal footing with a 220-pound mugger, a 75-year old retiree on equal footing with a 19-year old gangbanger, and a single gay guy on equal footing with a carload of drunk guys with baseball bats. The gun removes the disparity in physical strength, size, or numbers between a potential attacker and a defender.

    There are plenty of people who consider the gun as the source of bad force equations. These are the people who think that we’d be more civilized if all guns were removed from society, because a firearm makes it easier for a mugger to do his job. That, of course, is only true if the mugger’s potential victims are mostly disarmed either by choice or by legislative fiat – it has no validity when most of a mugger’s potential marks are armed. People who argue for the banning of arms ask for automatic rule by the young, the strong, and the many, and that’s the exact opposite of a civilized society. A mugger, even an armed one, can only make a successful living in a society where the state has granted him a force monopoly.

    Then there’s the argument that the gun makes confrontations lethal that otherwise would only result in injury. This argument is fallacious in several ways. Without guns involved, confrontations are won by the physically superior party inflicting overwhelming injury on the loser. People who think that fists, bats, sticks, or stones don’t constitute lethal force watch too much TV, where people take beatings and come out of it with a bloody lip at worst. The fact that the gun makes lethal force easier works solely in favor of the weaker defender, not the stronger attacker. If both are armed, the field is level. The gun is the only weapon that’s as lethal in the hands of an octogenarian as it is in the hands of a weightlifter. It simply wouldn’t work as well as a force equalizer if it wasn’t both lethal and easily employable.

    When I carry a gun, I don’t do so because I am looking for a fight, but because I’m looking to be left alone. The gun at my side means that I cannot be forced, only persuaded. I don’t carry it because I’m afraid, but because it enables me to be unafraid. It doesn’t limit the actions of those who would interact with me through reason, only the actions of those who would do so by force. It removes force from the equation … and that’s why carrying a gun is a civilized act.

Specifically, you did not appreciate the Graphic Interface Format (GIF) image of America’s sweetheart, Kate Upton, licking a rocket pop whilst tugging on her stars-and-stripes bikini bottom.

    Nancy B. wrote: “I have to say I am appalled at the picture of the voluptuous blonde in the red, white and blue bikini, pulling it way down to reveal a tiny star. What were you thinking? Who was responsible for this? It makes a series [sic] paper look seedy … Please do better or I won’t believe you actually are a conservative paper.”

    Leslie M. did not think the image was “appropriate for wishing me a happy 4th” and demanded that the Free Beacon stop sending her “porn.” Linda A. wondered: “Do you think only horny old men read your newsletter? Give me a break. This is pathetic! Seriously????”

    Colleen J. described the Free Beacon‘s patriotic celebration as “vile soft-porn” that made her wonder if our office was “staffed with pubescent boys, dirty old men, or both?” She added: “Unless there is some sort of retraction or apology in the next week or so, I will be unsubscribing.”

    This was a recurring theme. “Please unsubscribe me because of the picture of the nearly nude bimbo in the bikini,” Hope K. wrote in an email. Chris W. was “disgusted” by Upton’s amazing body and urged the Free Beacon to “stick to the news and clean photos or some readers will be unsubscribing.” Readers such as Kay K. wrote: “I just unsubscribed—not because I’m ‘rejecting freedom’ but because I’m rejecting PORNOGRAPHY.”

    Cybermom546 was particularly outraged: “I AM SO SAD TO TELL YOU THAT I HAVE JUST UNSUBSCRIBED FROM THE WASHINGTON FREE BEACON. THE REASON, UNCLAD WOMEN IN THE EMAIL … I DO NOT WANT TO SEE NAKED WOMEN WHEN I OPEN YOUR EMAILS … SHAME ON YOU FOR MAKING YOUR READERS SEE SUCH PORNO. NO WONDER OUR WORLD IS IN THE MESS THAT IT IS WHEN NAKED WOMEN HAVE TO BE USED TO ACQUIRE READERS.”

    Kris J. was similarly incensed: “Thought your organization had better taste than that! Acting like you’re so morally righteous and then promoting lust? Disrespect for women? Sick!!!” Trisha R. wasn’t mad, just disappointed: “I am not a prude, but this type of meme does not belong in a serious publication.” Marie O. wanted the Free Beacon‘s writers and editors to know they “should be embarrassed” by the “disgusting and awful” content defiling the website.

    Readers, I hear you. The Free Beacon hired me to be your advocate—a thoughtful listener who welcomes your feedback (positive and negative) and channels your energy to demand constructive change from leadership. Alas, having carefully considered your concerns regarding our Independence Day post featuring a scantily clad Kate Upton, I have determined that they are frivolous and unwarranted.

    For crying out loud. Get a life, people.

    The Free Beacon will never apologize for loving Kate Upton and honoring her exquisite physical gifts. I implore the obnoxious nerds clogging my inbox to consult the enduring words of our late founder, Matthew Continetti: “Kate Upton stands for everything good about America.     The Justice Department disbursed the funds for a consulting firm to develop a program to help transgender inmates “manage identity concerns during incarceration” and advocate for their “sexual health and safety,” according to a government summary of the contract. The contract also asks the firm to develop a program to help transgender inmates access hormone treatment after they are released.

    There are only about 1,200 transgender individuals serving sentences in federal prisons, according to a 2021 Department of Justice estimate, meaning the Biden administration spent roughly $1,250 per transgender prisoner. That is more than the $1,200 checks Americans received during the first round of COVID-19 stimulus payments.

    The Justice Department’s $1,496,500 contract is part of President Joe Biden’s larger, controversial effort to promote transgenderism—even among minors. The Justice Department in March sent a letter to all state attorneys general warning them against restricting transgender hormone treatment for children. That same month, Biden’s State Department announced it would allow individuals to select “X” as their gender when completing passport applications. The administration also released updated guidelines in January that make it easier for transgender inmates to be placed in facilities that match their “gender identity.”

    The Wisconsin Supreme Court has just declared the “Unlock” Boxes, or Ballot “Stuffing” Boxes, to be ILLEGAL. Everybody knows what went on with the $417,000,000 that little Mark Zuckerberg “INVESTED” in the corrupt 2020 Presidential Election, and that doesn’t even include the big Wisconsin Nursing Home Scandal where close to 100% of the residents voted (always is MUCH lower number). It’s now up to Robin Vos to do what everybody knows must be done. We need FAIR and HONEST Elections in our Country…

    ….Other States are looking at, and studying, the amazing Wisconsin Supreme Court decision declaring Ballot Boxes ILLEGAL, and that decision includes the 2020 Presidential Election. Speaker Robin Vos has a decision to make! Does Wisconsin RECLAIM the Electors, turn over the Election to the actual winner (by a lot!), or sit back and do nothing as our Country continues to go to HELL? Brave American Patriots already have a Resolution on the Floor!
