    Per their sources, the FBI served a search warrant on Michael McDonald, the Republican chairman in Nevada. They seized his phone in relation to an “investigation” into the so-called “fake electors” scheme propagated after the 2020 election.

    FBI agents served a search warrant Wednesday on Nevada’s top GOP official, sources told the 8 News Now I-Team’s George Knapp.

    Agents seized the cell phone of state Republican chairman Michael McDonald, reportedly as part of an investigation into the fake elector scheme initiated at the end of the 2020 presidential election.

    A second search warrant was issued for state party secretary James DeGraffenreid, who also signed the document, but FBI agents could not locate him Wednesday, sources told Knapp.

    Of course, everything is always simpler when it’s not sensationalized. So what did this “fake electors” scheme entail? All it entailed was some Republican electors pledging to vote for Donald Trump. As the report notes, that move was purely ceremonial and held no legal weight. No one ever actually tried to pass off any alternate electors to change the outcome of the election, and in the end, Nevada’s electors went to Biden.

    In December 2020, the 8 News Now I-Team reported the Nevada Republican Party’s six electors signed paperwork signaling their support for former President Donald Trump in a symbolic ceremony devoid of any legal merit, which was held in Carson City and coincided with the official state-sanctioned tally on Dec. 14, 2020.

    Given that, what exactly is being investigated here except wrong-think? After all, it was Democrats who pioneered and pursued the idea of “faithless electors” after the 2016 election. Don’t believe me? Well, believe the headlines from the time period, and there are literally dozens of them.

    In other words, if you are keeping score, the FBI is now targeting top GOP officials just prior to a mid-term election in a heavily contested state in order to investigate something they never investigated when it was being pushed by Democrats. Doesn’t that sound familiar? Whether it’s FARA, campaign finance laws, or Hunter Biden, the FBI appears to have two completely different operating procedures depending on what the political leanings of a possible target are.

    We’ve seen that play out in stark fashion recently with the FBI’s raid of Project Veritas after the group legally purchased Ashely Biden’s diary, which includes an allegation of possible misconduct by the current president. But instead of investigating the disgusting revelations in the diary, the FBI decided to treat James O’Keefe and others like criminals for daring to expose it.

    That’s the kind of corrupt, two-tiered justice system that currently operates within the United States of America. Hunter Biden can break gun laws, likely violate FARA, and allegedly rake in gobs of cash from influence-peddling schemes overseas, and the FBI won’t raid his home with CNN cameras present. But if you become inconvenient for the left as a Republican, Dir. Christopher Wray and goons will show up ready and willing.

    Despite the J6 Committee’s attempts to blame the Capitol riot on former President Donald Trump and election integrity supporters, the GOP members found that Pelosi, who is responsible for Capitol security according to House rules and has led the Democrat majority for years, repeatedly failed to implement necessary improvements to the Capitol’s security system.

    “This inaction left the Capitol unnecessarily vulnerable,” Banks and Davis noted.

    Banks and Davis pointed to an After-Action Report from Capitol Police showing that the law enforcement department reorganized its intelligence without authorization which left it without essential “open-source intelligence capabilities” and caused staffing changes that “may have contributed to the tragedy” on Jan. 6.

    In light of this information, Banks and Davis added that “the USCP intelligence unit had knowledge of the potential for violence yet failed to adequately communicate the threat or take the necessary steps to protect the Capitol.”

    Despite these shortcomings, the Republicans found that even though the USCP Union largely voted it had no confidence in its intelligence division supervisor, the supervisor was promoted to acting chief following the Capitol riot.

    House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy picked Banks and Rep. Jim Jordan to represent Republicans on the committee last year but they were promptly booted off by Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi who implied the GOP would hamper a “comprehensive investigation” into the Capitol riot.

    Now Banks, Jordan, Davis, and the two other Republicans who were poised to join the Democrats’ show trial committee before McCarthy pulled them out, are leading their own investigation into the Capitol security breakdown that reviews information hardly touched by Pelosi’s picks who are running the show trial.

    Banks noted in a recent interview with PBS NewsHour that despite gathering more than 100,000 pages of evidence, the J6 Committee has “only selectively offered the American people a very small part of it.”

    “Never forget that this select committee has already been caught altering evidence. They’ve had to apologize for it,” Banks said. “It’s dishonorable that this isn’t a bipartisan effort to give the American people the facts and the findings.”

    President Biden really does not want the public to know about his federal takeover of election administration. Dozens of members of Congress have repeatedly asked for details, to no avail. Good government groups, members of the media, and private citizens have filed requests under the Freedom of Information Act. Not a single one has been responded to. All signs indicate a concerted effort to keep the public in the dark until at least after the November midterm elections. The lack of transparency and responsiveness is so bad that the Department of Justice and some of its agencies have been repeatedly sued for the information.

    When President Biden ordered all 600 federal agencies to “expand citizens’ opportunities to register to vote and to obtain information about, and participate in, the electoral process” on March 7, 2021, Republican politicians, Constitutional scholars, and election integrity specialists began to worry exactly what was up his sleeve.

    They had good reason. The 2020 election had suffered from widespread and coordinated efforts by Democrat activists and donors to run “Get Out The Vote” operations from inside state and local government election offices, predominantly in the Democrat-leaning areas of swing states. Independent researchers have shown the effect of this takeover of government election offices was extremely partisan and favored Democrats overwhelmingly.

    At the time the order was issued, Democrats were also hoping to pass H.R. 1, a continuation of the effort to destabilize elections throughout the country via a federalized takeover of state election administrations.

    Biden gave each agency 200 days to file their plans for approval by none other than Susan Rice, his hyperpartisan domestic policy advisor. Yet fully nine months after those plans were due, they are all being hidden from the public, even as evidence is emerging that the election operation is in full swing.
    Mobilizing Voters Is Always A Political Act

    There are several major problems with Biden’s secret plan, critics say. It’s unethical to tie federal benefits to election activity. It’s unconstitutional to have the federal government take authority that belongs to the states and which Congress has not granted. And, given that all 50 states have different laws and processes governing election administration, it’s a recipe for chaos, confusion, and fraud at a time when election security concerns are particularly fraught.

    Mobilizing voters is always a political act. Choosing which groups to target for Get Out The Vote efforts is one of the most important activities done by political campaigns. Federal agencies that interact with the public by doling out benefits can easily pressure recipients to vote for particular candidates and positions. Congress passed the Hatch Act in 1939, which bans bureaucrats and bureaucracies from being involved in election activities after Democrats used Works Progress Administration programs and personnel for partisan political advantage.

    Executive Order 14019 ignores that the Constitution does not give the executive branch authority over elections. That power is reserved for the states, with a smaller role for Congress. With H.R. 1 and other Democrat Party efforts to grab more control over elections have thus far failed, Congress hasn’t authorized such an expansion.

    After facing swift and intense backlash from conservatives and Republican lawmakers, Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) claimed that he was joking about striking a deal on amnesty after negotiating a deal on gun control.
    As the Senate voted to advance gun legislation on Tuesday night, which arose from Cornyn’s negotiations with Democrats, Cornyn told Sen. Alex Padilla (D-CA), “First guns, now it’s immigration.”

    In response to Cornyn’s comment, Sinema said, “That’s right, we’re going to do it.”

    The comment drew swift backlash from former Trump administration officials such as Andrew Surabian, House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy (CA), and House Republican Study Committee (RSC) Chairman Jim Banks (IN).

    “From selling out on gun control to selling out on amnesty in light speed,” Surabian said.

    McCarthy said amnesty was not on the table.

    “Amnesty is a non starter with me and won’t be taken up by a House Republican majority,” the Republican leader told Axios. “Our border crisis is the worst in history and the only immigration plan should be to secure the border and stop illegal immigration that’s fueling the worst drug crisis in history. House Republicans will fight for this with everything we have.”

    After the backlash, Cornyn claimed that he was merely joking and that no immigration talks are expected to occur.

    “The Democrats and their allies in the media really can’t take a joke. There’s no secret amnesty bill,” Cornyn told Breitbart News on Wednesday morning. His office confirmed to Breitbart News that the senator’s remark was made purely in jest.
    Despite Cornyn’s claim, the Texas senator has called for negotiations that would provide amnesty for illegal aliens in the past.

Garland is a sore loser. and should resign or be impeached for not being willing to follow the laws he swore to uphold.

  13. so the eff bee eye issued subpoenas in january 2022 for information on alternative electors in the 2020 election–without any mention of any laws being broken–especially since this process was done in 1960.

    The subpoenas were issued by the FBI in January 2022, and read “… We are seeking information about your role and participation in the purported slate of electors casting votes for Donald Trump and, to the extent relevant, your role in the events of January 6, 2021.” It is unclear from that statement what laws were allegedly broken.

    This process is not without precedent. In 1960, as a recount embroiled the state, Hawaii ended up with two slates of electors in the presidential election between Richard Nixon and John F. Kennedy. While initial indicators saw Nixon taking the state, and its three electoral votes, a recount ordered showed Kennedy taking the lead.

    As a result, both the officially certified Republican electors, and an “unofficial” slate of Democrat electors cast competing votes for president. Certificates for both contenders were sent to the Administrator of General Services. When the recount finished, nearly 10 days past the deadline to send certificates on behalf of the state, the Democrat electors were appointed as the presidential electors for Hawaii, and a new certification was rushed to the Administrator of General Services.

  16. PTL Our First Grandchild was born in the wee hours today, sharing a B-day w/ epic Constitutionalist Clarence Thomas. There were a couple minor hiccups in the birth process but everyone’s apparently doing well now. The new family should all head home sometime tomorrow so we can finally see our granddaughter in person. Covid crimes kept even Tara’s mother of being with her during the 18 hour labor sadly.

    My niece Ashley’s son is doing better w/ the leaking air mostly diminished after inserting that tube in his chest. They are hopeful that he might be able to come home tomorrow as well. Apparently the baby is off most pain meds & is eating well & even smiled at his dad!

    Thanks for your many prayers on behalf of my family. MUCH Appreciated!!!

    Meanwhile, where is God? This is one of the most disquieting symptoms. When you are happy, so happy that you have no sense of needing Him, so happy that you are tempted to feel His claims upon you as an interruption, if you remember yourself and turn to Him with gratitude and praise, you will be—or so it feels—welcomed with open arms. But go to Him when your need is desperate, when all other help is vain, and what do you find? A door slammed in your face, and a sound of bolting and double bolting on the inside. After that, silence. You may as well turn away. The longer you wait, the more emphatic the silence will become. There are no lights in the windows. It might be an empty house. Was it ever inhabited? It seemed so once. And that seeming was as strong as this. What can this mean? Why is He so present a commander in our time of prosperity and so very absent a help in time of trouble?

    I tried to put some of these thoughts to C. this afternoon. He reminded me that the same thing seems to have happened to Christ: ‘Why hast thou forsaken me?’ I know. Does that make it easier to understand?

    Not that I am (I think) in much danger of ceasing to believe in God. The real danger is of coming to believe such dreadful things about Him. The conclusion I dread is not ‘So there’s no God after all,’ but ‘So this is what God’s really like. Deceive yourself no longer.’
