Many of us have seen the videos and articles about Dr. Yuval Noah Harari from the WEF discussing hacking the human brain, as well as Bill Gates’ plans to target specific areas of the brain via a virus and vaccine. In fact, DARPA’s NEAT program can help prove Dr. Harari to be prophetic about hackable humans leading to better healthcare or the worst totalitarian surveillance state in history. (Article dated March 2022)
This principle of stimulating the brain with implanted electrodes was studied in the 1950’s by Dr. Jose Delgado, following up on previous studies by others. Delgado was the Director of Neuropsychiatry at Yale University Medical School who was called a “technological wizard” for his numerous inventions. He invented a miniature electrode implanted in the brain — called a “stimoceiver” — which is capable of receiving and transmitting electronic signals wirelessly through radio waves.
Jose Manuel Rodríguez Delgado also known as “the pioneer of electric brain stimulation” was born on August 8, 1915 in Ronda, Spain. He was a physiology professor at the prestigious Ivy League Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. Delgado was prominently known for his tests administering electric stimuli to the brain to control the mind.
Dr. Delgado completed his medical studies and earned a PhD in physiology from the Ramón y Cajal Institute in Madrid. In 1946, Delgado won a fellowship for a year at Yale. He later went on to accept a position in the physiology department at the same university, headed by Dr. John Farquhar Fulton, in 1950.
Fulton and his colleague, Dr. Carlyle Ferdinand Jacobsen presented a paper on the brain experiments they had conducted on chimpanzees at an international forum. These experiments described at the Second International Neurological Congress in London, held in July 1935, gave the idea of psychosurgery to Portuguese neurologist, Dr Antonio Egas Moniz.
Moniz thought of performing a similar surgery on patients with mental illnesses. Inspired by Fulton’s paper, Moniz directed the first prefrontal leucotomy on a human being, performed by his associate Almeida Lima at the Hospital Santa Marta in Lisbon on November 12, 1935. This was the beginning of leucotomies on patients with psychosis, which Moniz asserted gave the desired results.
By 1951, United States alone reported the maximum number of lobotomies performed, but by mid-1950s, lobotomy was renounced with the development of successful psychiatric medicines. Jose Delgado was horrified at the idea of lobotomy and completely against the thought of obliterating a section of the brain.
He believed in electrical implants in the brain that would pass small currents to control the behaviour of the patient. His primitive experiments consisted of implanted electrodes with wires connecting to electronic devices. This, unfortunately was a risky procedure as it curtailed the movements of the subject, and left the brain susceptible to infections.
Dr. Delgado’s most prominent experiment was with a Spanish fighter bull, Lucero, in 1964 in Cordoba, Spain on the La Alamirilla ranch owned by Don Ramón Sánchez. Lucero had been sedated and implanted with electrodes that were remote-controlled by Delgado. Dr. Delgado unfortunately does not state exactly how many bulls were involved in these experiments, but in his 1981 article he focuses his attention on the results of two bulls he implanted; one named “Cayetano” and another named “Lucero.” Both bulls were approximately 3 years old and weighed 200–280 kg.
Dr. Delgado in his 1981 Spanish manuscript discusses trying to replicate these experiments in docile bulls, attempting to make them more aggressive by stimulating thalamic structures. Beyond noticing motor responses (distinct body movements in response to the stimulation), he did not observe increases in aggression. He hypothesized that the electrodes may have been incorrectly placed.
Dr. Delgado then focused in his 1981 manuscript on a second bull named “Lucero,” which is the one always shown in the famous photos, as this was perhaps the most dramatic result of the bull brain stimulations. Lucero continued demonstrating robust charging behavior after the surgery, allowing for full investigation of Dr. Delgado’s ideas about aggression and brain circuits. When he stimulated at 100 Hz and 1 mA in the caudate and thalamus locations when the bull was charging a bullfighter, the bull immediately stopped and was still during the stimulation, although blinking its eyes and breathing regularly. Since no obvious motor effect was observed as in the first bull Cayetano (turning of the head, moving in a circle, etc.), Lucero had the most compelling response – the halt of the charge.
Although the animal’s attack was halted by the stimulation, “detained in his aggressiveness,” the bull returned “furiously” to a full charge when the electrical stimulation ceased. This appears to be the best result of the bull implantations and the reason why the experiments are still remembered and discussed today.

someone keeping piglosi’s mug shot hidden…why??
FTA
He said Paul was returning home to “the Pelosi vineyard, you know – the one valued between 5 and 25 million dollars, where they entertain all their friends and fancy Silicon Valley executives.”
Watters wanted to see the mugshot but curiously it cannot be found.
He said the sheriff “told us the jail had to release it.
“And then the jail said the sheriff’s office had to release it and then one of our producers was told the city council had to release it.
“And then we were directed to the county board of supervisors.
“And then when we called the vice-chair of the board, he said why would we have a mugshot?
“All I know is someone’s going through a lot of trouble to keep this mugshot hidden,” he said.

Hubby caught a wasp in our house today–yikes!
Your flowers are Beautiful. We have roses in bud in front of our house. In the back next to our grill there is a rose bush w/ very basic flowers, not in layers, that has always been bright light pink. This year half of it is dark red. the nearby lilac bushes that usually have a medium pale purple this year were almost white–very strange.

I cut A Lot of lilacs at my parents’ Northern Michigan cottage this year to make up for not cutting any last year. Those are Very Old, yet rather meager bushes. The ones we transplanted into our yard years ago are Much fuller & taller only being about a decade old rather than the Cottage ones that are 5+ decades old!

Cut them down to the ground, Val – my lilacs were also very old and not blooming well. The tree trimmer I hired said to cut the whole huge bush to the ground, which he proceeded to do – I guess about 5 or 6 years ago now. It’s blooming like crazy and back up to the original height it was 9 years ago.

Interesting. some of the ones at the Cottage are thick, nearly impossible to cut, wood. They are having blooms 10-15 feet up, but because of the woody “trunks” it’s Very Hard for me to reach some of those amazing blooms.
If I attempt your technique it will probably be only Partially cutting them back, to see how they do. We heard about trimming bushes back about 1/3 each of 3 years to make it so there wasn’t just great growth on the outside but thick woodiness on the interior.
The climate Up North is so harsh in the winter I’m not sure that a completely cut back “bush” would make it so we’ll see (if I remember when next up there, around the 4th of July)–thanks for the tip!

My climbing rose was always dark pink, what few blooms I had in years past – but now they’re dark red this year, too! My Lilacs were the same light purple as last year, tho.

I would guess the amount of rain might have something to do with it, maybe? We’ve gotten much more rain than we usually do.

Our plants are on the perimeter of a mostly dirt patch under a spreading maple tree that has seen most of the grass under it die off over the years. I suspect this breed of maple might cause some chemical changes in the soil & Maybe those chemicals are impacting the flower colors this year.
We also have 2 “boxwoods” in our front yard, between the sidewalk & street. Most of the ground between those trees is just dirt, & has been for the 2+ decades we’ve been here. We’ve tried grass seed, wildflower mix, & transplanted flowers from the Cottage (so quite hearty for Winter conditions) & Nothing has stuck. There is straggly grass closer to the trunks but nearly nothing between. We’ve wondered if salt on the roads in the winter, that gets slush shoveled onto the curb, has lead to some poisoning of that dirt but it doesn’t look like any of our neighbors have that problem though, which is why I suspect the trees have something to do with it…hmmm….

Entire Article @ NYPost: “An Amish man in Ohio was the subject of a low-speed police chase on May 14 when he was asleep while operating a horse and buggy. Ashtabula Sheriff’s Deputy Mike Talbert attempted to stop the buggy at around 2:43 a.m. in Orwell, Ohio, but was unsuccessful and told other officers that the driver of the horse and buggy looked like he was asleep, according to Fox 8.
“There is a Bud Light can sitting in there and he’s passed clean out,” Talbert says. “We got a drunk Amish guy passed out in a buggy.” “He just turned eastbound on Bogue and I yelled at the guy when he rode by,” Talbert said. “There is a Bud Light can sitting in the d**n buggy and I hit the side of the buggy and hollered at the guy. He’s passed clean out. He’s slumped over.”
Police initially responded to 911 calls from people who claimed the buggy was “all over the road.” After pursuing the horse and buggy in a low-speed chase, the deputy eventually blocked the buggy with his car, but the buggy hit the cruiser. The person operating the horse and buggy was identified as Nathan Miller, who took a breathalyzer test and registered a .063%, according to police.

EXCERPT: “A fatally wounded bear can eat you. A drowning man can drag you down with him. A dying bull can gore a matador. And the failing and flailing Biden Administration and Democrat-controlled Congress can still draw blood between now and when they lose the House and Senate in November. But only if Republicans throw them a lifeline.
Democrat Senate leader Chuck Schumer’s best chance to trick conservatives and Republicans into giving his left-wing activists a huge victory is Sen. Amy Klobuchar’s “antitrust” regulation bill that has fooled some conservatives into thinking this would reduce (rather than increase) censorship of conservatives online. The Klobuchar bill is a big government power grab and one of the biggest regulatory threats of Biden’s agenda. The bill would give Biden bureaucrats sweeping new power to reshape the economy in the service of left-wing social goals.
No Republican should vote to hand Democrats this last-minute legislative victory. The Klobuchar bill is bad policy, bad politics, and will exacerbate inflationary pressure on American families.
Klobuchar’s “American Innovation and Choice Online Act” (S. 2992) would ban online companies over a government-determined threshold from engaging in “self-preferencing,” where a company sells or promotes private-label products on their own platforms. Grocery stores do this all the time when they sell generic cereal that is cheaper than the name brands. In theory, this legislation is the online equivalent of a bureaucrat hauling a dumpster to Costco and demanding they stop selling and throw away every Kirkland product in the store.
———————–
Generic private-label products are often cheaper than the name brands, but S. 2992 would make it virtually impossible for targeted companies to sell them. Shoppers looking to squeeze a few more bucks out of their budgets would no longer have the option to buy generic, increasing inflation’s pernicious effects on American families.
Several Republican lawmakers have endorsed the Klobuchar bill, likely in response to legitimate conservative anger at Big Tech censorship online. But S. 2992 does nothing to end censorship, on the contrary, Democrats have consistently called for more censorship. Twitter, the left’s favorite place to target and censor conservatives, wouldn’t be impacted. Meta is nearly too small to be impacted.”

Dasher, a faithful friend and loyal guardian
“This wonderful German Shepherd, Dasher, lives in Mildura in Australia. When Dasher was a seven-month-old puppy, he earned the title of hero. The dog spent more than 14 hours in a forest during a storm protecting his owners’ child.
When two-year-old Dante Berry walked out of the family, Dasher was the only one who noticed. The child wandered all over the place, but luckily his faithful friend followed close behind him. Eventually, they lost their way in the forest about 1.8 miles (3 km) from home. It took a long time for Dante’s parents to notice that their child was missing. They called the police and started looking for Dante everywhere, but a terrible storm broke out that night. It paralyzed traffic on the roads, and the search was postponed until better weather.
The next morning, 15 hours after it was noticed that the child was missing, Dante and Dasher were found in the forest. The lucky kid didn’t have a single scratch. Dasher helped Dante weather the storm and protected him from predators.
This photo was taken at the moment of the reunion between mother and child. The woman said she wasn’t surprised with the dog’s act because he had always been their faithful defender.”

Cher Ami’s last trip took place in October 1918, during the Meuse-Argonne offensive. The bird was injured in its chest, blinded in one eye, and lost one leg, but still managed to reach its destination and delivered its message. It helped save almost two hundred soldiers of a battalion which had been cut off from its allies. In 2011, TIME Magazine included Cher Ami in the top ten most heroic animals in the world.”

“Geo is a charming half-breed of German Shepherd and Collie who saved the life of his ten-year-old owner, Charlie Riley.
Charlie was playing on the street with his pet when suddenly a truck rushed onto the pavement at high-speed, racing straight at the boy. The dog instantly pushed Charlie aside and took the brunt of the blow from the advancing truck. Geo was thrown onto the road, and the truck, trying to escape from the scene, ran down the poor animal one more time.
The brave dog miraculously survived, but he received several internal injuries, and his legs and spine were broken. Thankfully, timely veterinary care saved Geo from death, but he had to undergo lengthy treatment and rehabilitation. Now, the dog is completely healthy. He enjoys life among his family that is infinitely grateful to him for saving their son.”

SMH – fricking poachers!!! I’d like to shoot THEM!!!!
“Nick Jans is a photographer and author who has spent many years observing wildlife and is quite knowledgeable in the ways of nature. However, when one winter evening a lone black wolf appeared near his porch in Juneau, Alaska, and his dog went out to meet it, he couldn’t have imagined what would happen next. The two animals did not attack each other, but started playing. Soon the wolf became a regular and was given the name Romeo. Other locals also started to bring their own dogs so that they could play with the wolf. With time, Romeo even started to interact with humans: he played fetch, accompanied skiers, or simply lay down in the sun with them. This unprecedented relationship went on for 6 years and provided the basis for A Wolf Called Romeo by Nick Jans. Sadly, Romeo met an untimely death: he was shot by poachers from another state. But the memory of him lives on in the town. There is even a special plaque commemorating the friendly wolf.”

They are making a mountain out of a mole hill, as far as I’m concerned! These are real eggs – you can buy them in the carton at the grocery store!!! Having said that, yes, this IS McD’s, after all, so…..what is so surprising about this??!!??
EXCERPT: “If you thought you were always being served hot and fresh eggs well … the yolk’s on you. A man who claimed to work for McDonald’s revealed that the eggs the company serves during its breakfast hours don’t actually come from cracking a shell but rather a yellow liquid.
The man, who goes by the name Tizzy Tay, shared the clip of him making the eggs on his TikTok page, racking up 3.5 million views since it was posted. Tay begins the video, captioned “#McDonald’s scrambled eggs are made like this,” by putting down rectangular molds on top of the grill before squirting a yellow liquid onto the grill. Then, he pours the egg mixture from a carton that reads “Liquid Egg Product” in Spanish into the mold.
Tay also shows the difference in preparation for the chain’s round egg and folded egg items.”

EXCERPT: “The new menstruation-themed documentary “Periodical” will include stories from “activists, authors, journalists and doctors, with notable names including Gloria Steinem, soccer star Megan Rapinoe, actress Ashley Greene, and “Pen15” star Anna Konkle,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The project’s description says, “Periodical covers everything from the people who use their period blood for facials and ‘free bleed’ while running marathons, to the ones who want to forget it exists. The film uncovers the shocking truths, challenges taboos and celebrates the untapped potential of this nutrient-dense blood.”
Lina Lyte Plioplyte is directing the documentary, the publication noted, with Pegah Farahmand producing and Kourtney Gleason co-producing. MSNBC’s Rashida Jones and Amanda Spain will serve as executive producers along with XTR’s Kathryn Everett, Kathleen Flood, and Justin Lacob.
“For Periodical, I decided to look at menstruation through the lens of curiosity instead of stigma, focusing on people in the field who are treating periods as a valuable asset, not a curse,” Plioplyte told THR. “My first documentary looked at aging as a celebration and coincided with a pro-aging movement. Now is the time to celebrate the menstruating bodies, and acknowledge the movement to reclaim and empower those with periods.”

Now, you might be thinking that I’m sort of being overdramatic about all of this seeing as how this is a natural part of life for a woman and isn’t something they should be shamed for, since they have no control over it. I concur.

Hmmm……not a good picture, Truth Social!!!! As I’ve always said…..POTUS is dead wrong to tout this!
Entire Article (audio/video @ link): “Many of you watched my episode of The Jeff Dornik Show where I broke down why Donald Trump’s Truth Social banned Dr. Sherri Tenpenny from the platform. If you missed it, you can watch or listen here:
————————
It’s clear that Dr. Tenpenny is a threat to President Trump’s narrative about the covid jabs. He’s touting them as a success, she’s calling them a bioweapon. He claims they saved lives, she says they’re being used to depopulate the earth. When looking at this situation through that prism, you begin to see the motivation for the Truth Social team to attempt to silence Dr. T. Well, Dr. Tenpenny has now responded to her suspension. In response to my show on Gab, she wrote:
‘We had developed just shy of 5000 followers in six weeks on TS. We had about 300 posts on a variety of subjects:
Jabs, WEF, Gates, VAERS, Faith-based content, 2A, food supply, Agenda 2030, Biden’s dark winter, Klaus Schwab, the WHO treaty, pro-life issues … & the list goes on! PodBean did the same thing last fall – wiped my account of great interviews just as we passed 1M downloads in 8 months. Honestly – other people that now have >25M+ downloads on Podbean were untouched. So much for Truth Social and free speech. When you tear out a man’s tongue, you are not proving him a liar, you’re only telling the world that you fear what he might say.’
All these alternative social media platforms claim to be all about free speech. However, to-date, Gab is the only one that I know of holding true to that claim. It’s definitely disheartening to see President Trump’s own “free speech platform” silence someone like Dr. Tenpenny. Yet, it’s to be expected when you focus on winning over principles. In this case, he needs the narrative to be that he saved the world from disaster through Operation Warp Speed. Unfortunately, he’s dead wrong.
If you’ve been vaxxed and are now concerned with how to protect yourself from the awful side effects, you should consider ordering a bottle of Dr. Zelenko’s Z-DTOX. It’s designed to build your immune system, especially if you are nervous about covid vaccine side effects. When you order, use discount code FREEDOM at https://zstacklife.com/freedom.”

EXCERPT: “The family of a top advisor to Bill Clinton who admitted Jeffrey Epstein to the White House multiple times during his presidency is pulling out all the stops to keep details of his mysterious death becoming public. They have petitioned a judge to prevent pictures of Mark Middleton’s death scene being released under the Freedom of Information Act. And now the local Arkansas sheriff is interpreting that to mean he can’t talk or release any details of Middleton’s May 7 suicide.
‘The investigation is still open. I can’t say anything more,’ Perry County Sheriff Scott Montgomery told DailyMail.com. Middleton, who served as special assistant to President Bill Clinton in the 1990s, died at the age of 59, his family announced last month. Middleton’s family did not disclose the cause of death at the time but authorities later confirmed the former White House official took his own life with a self-inflicted gunshot at an urban farm in Perryville, Arkansas.
Some claims surfaced Middleton’s body was discovered hanging from a tree with an electrical cord of the same style wrapped around his neck and a close-range shotgun blast through his chest, Radar Online reported. His death adds to the number of close associates of the former president and first lady who have died unexpectedly, many in small plane crashes. The phenomenon has led to a conspiracy theory called Clinton Body Count which even has its own Wikipedia page.
Ashley Haynes was found drowned in the Arkansas River with an extension cord knotted to her ankle and attached to a concrete block — just months before Clinton moneyman Mark Middleton was found dead. A renowned forensic expert says he cannot rule out “foul play” in the death of an Arkansas woman who is linked to the mysterious suicide of the former presidential advisor who introduced President Bill Clinton to billionaire Jeffrey Epstein.
Famed pathologist Dr. Cyril Wecht reached the shocking conclusion after reviewing exclusively obtained documents and shocking crime scene photographs of the 47-year-old model, who was once seen by a witness meeting Middleton to discuss a financial matter. Dr. Wecht said it is common for people bent on committing suicide by drowning to weigh themselves down with a heavy object to prevent the body’s natural reflex to surface. However, he said it’s incumbent upon the police to investigate how she ended up under 10 feet of water in the Little Rock suburb of Maumelle, where she lived.
Despite repeated requests, he has been denied the toxicology report from the Pulaski County Coroner – which Wecht says is vital in determining a cause of death. A source close to Haynes, who worked for a charitable group to feed and clothe the homeless, the 110-pound yoga teacher would have never taken her own life – let alone paddleboard down the river lugging a concrete suicide slab.
“It didn’t make any sense. She would never kill herself,” the Haynes source said. “When I heard she went missing, I knew instantly it was foul play. I don’t believe she killed herself. How could she water paddle down the river with a concrete block?!” Below you can see the new death scene photos that are released for public use:”

EXCERPT: “An American friend writes me that conditions in her country could not be worse. The good are increasingly persecuted and abused by the bad and the ugly. I reply that, yes, Americans think they have it bad — and they do. But if they want to see how far and fast the dregs of the so-called “social order” can rise to the top and the best sink to the bottom, I invite them to visit Canada.
—————–
In the light of these considerations, Michel Walsh at The Pipeline is correct when he writes that Canada “is now completing its post-Covid descent into a fascist tyranny.” The country is gradually approaching totalitarian status, having effectively canceled the Charter and Constitution and imposed, as noted, a flood of coercive measures, such as vaccine mandates, medical apartheid, travel restrictions, information censorship, punitive carbon taxes, and the like.
The executive, financial, juridical, and media elite, with the complicity of a majority supine and uninformed public, now control national affairs with an iron hand. No less sinister, the Canadian prime minister, unlike the American president, is in full possession of his faculties, which renders him even more dangerous. He is not demented. He is crafty, duplicitous, brazen, and vindictive, and his totalitarian leanings are readily discernible. Cuba is his lodestar, Venezuela his destination. Constitutional adherents, civically responsible citizens, conservative democrats, concerned parents fearful for their children, honest lawyers, and physicians — the core of the nation — have become social pariahs.
The fact that we Canadians may have it worse than Americans doesn’t give us bragging rights — unless, of course, like certain valetudinarians and hypochondriacs, we like to compete against others with the severity of our ailments. Canadians have always felt they are better than Americans, and in this regard alone, they probably are.”

I am adding a short daily prayer to the board. I would invite each of you, if you wish, to also add one or maybe two of your own liking. I do not want to stifle anyone but please limit yourself to one or two. here’s one I found that I liked.

Hey, just checked notifications after a hectic day/night celebrating our family’s grads: hubby from truck driving school, son Brandon from Fire Academy, & son-in-law w/ his teaching degree from U of M (Go Blue!) Dearborn. We got to use B’s backyard (he’s a renter now in his friend’s house & they’ve got 2 lots & a nice set up there). We’re all still pretty sore & tired.
Hope things are doing well with you! Hope to do some reading later, but I’m distracted w/ some Spider Solitaire, which I can finally get to work on the ‘puter. ❤

New from The Bee: “CHEVY CHASE, MD—Police arrested a tomahawk-wielding Cherokee Indian hiding in the bushes outside Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh’s home this week. After hours of questioning, authorities discovered the would-be assassin was none other than Senator Elizabeth Warren.
“Me big angry at Kavanaugh for taking away right to choose,” said Warren. “Paleface always break treaty to not overturn Roe v. Wade. Never keep word! I come here to take scalp so Roe stay.” Warren then let out an ancient war cry passed down from her ancestors.
Experts believe Senator Warren may have been radicalized by her own rhetoric in recent months, as well as the rhetoric commonly found on every mainstream news channel, NPR, Twitter, The View, and all of Chuck Schumer’s political speeches.
“By the Great Spirit, I will defeat Justice Kavanaugh in tomahawk battle and save women’s right to kill baby for convenience!” said Warren as authorities took her away in handcuffs.
At publishing time, police also found Hillary Clinton in the bushes outside Kavanaugh’s home attempting to call in a drone strike. “

I did – fricking cotton everywhere from the Cottonwood tree! Years ago, it was seedless but it has reverted now – huge white swaths on the lawn!!! Yuck! I hate it!

twitter caves…
FTA
It is being reported that after playing tough guy, Twitter execs are caving and will give Elon Musk some data he may be able to use to analyze fake accounts and bots. Many left-leaning outlets report this as bad news for Musk who “can’t wiggle his way out” of the deal more than likely.
However, they are assuming he doesn’t want to buy Twitter and forgetting how many people on the right want him to still buy it too. It’s amazing how fast the narrative changed from “no he can’t buy Twitter” to “haha now, he HAS TO buy it”. What a biased world we live in.
The Washington Post reports that Twitter will give Musk access to an API data “firehose” system. It’s unclear how easy or possible it will be for Musk and his team to utilize this to get the information they want to get a better deal on Twitter, assuming that is the plan, or likely is.

Here’s a copy of a post I did at Marica’s 🙂
It’s been a busy couple of weeks, being out of town for an extended holiday week(end) & then getting busy, while being pretty tired, at home.
Hubby & I celebrated our 30th Anniversary the other day! We had a nice meal out & were going to use a $50 gift card only to discover it had been already fraudulently used in Georgia–sigh…we still enjoyed our special dinner.
I hit the church’s food ministry today & got through the process in about 20 minutes, the quickest it’s ever been. Apparently they are suspending food distribution in July but plan to resume in August. They handed out a flyer for some area alternatives.
Gas prices are running mostly about $5.19 around here now, having just been $4.2/39 mostly in Gaylord last week. Usually it’s roughly 10 cents cheaper downstate but not in Bye-Done’s American gulag…
Hubby has been busy jumping through hoops on his CDL-A licensure. He has completed tanker testing, & a haz-mat training course online that really didn’t teach him anything more than he’d already learned between trucking school literature & some online tutorials he’d taken for free. Of course this online “required” course cost more money–sigh. He’s supposed to take that haz-mat test tomorrow, assuming the Secretary of State has received his stellar scores by then. He also had to register w/ the TSA, for more money, of course. Thankfully he got his approval that day, instead of the 6-8 weeks they’d anticipated. His fingerprints were registered…again…
He has another job interview scheduled for Friday. This is a second interview w/ a likely offer….
Please pray for the Lord to clearly direct him in his employment choice. We’re hoping that he might start working as early as next week, but just don’t know. He really wants to drive locally &/or regionally & be home every day & have weekends off. Good benefits & pay are also important. So many parameters to juggle that we really need the Lord’s wisdom & favor to make the “best” choice for us going forward.
Our son & daughter-in-law should be having our first grandchild in under 3 weeks. This weekend we’re hosting a small grad party for hubby from trucking school, son-in-law from U of M Dearborn w/ his teaching degree (he’s looking for work for this fall, having completed student teaching this spring), & our son from Fire Academy. The following weekend our young guys & friends are to have Josiah’s “bachelor party” Up North at my parents’ Cottage. His wedding is late July, 7 years to the day from his Liver Transplant.
Lots going on around here!
Thanks for praying for us as God brings us to mind. We so appreciate this encouragement & support!!!! ❤

Thanks Filly!
We all, except son-in-law, went to see Top Gun Maverick last night, which was a fun treat & add on to our anniversary “celebration”. If they had a recruiter outside of the theater back when hubby first saw Top Gun his life would have had a Very Different trajectory. I’m glad he chose the path he did! We are blessed & not Too stressed (at the moment) though schooling was Very Hard for a (too long it seemed) season 😉
