Although ‘serious historians’ don’t like to discuss it, ‘alternative historians’ have presented evidence that the Nazis had more than a passing interest in the occult and pseudosciences that overlap with it. Beginning with Louis Pauwels and Jacques Bergier’s Le Matin des Magiciens, a number of writers have explored these themes in some detail, although they often lay stress on different aspects of mystical claims. In many cases, the writer’s own specific religious, mystical or occult beliefs colour their accounts.
One classic of the genre is Trevor Ravenscroft’s (1921-1989) The Spear of Destiny: the occult power behind the spear which pierced the side of Christ (Neville Spearman, 1972). This focuses on the alleged occult power of a spear, known as the Holy Lance of Vienna (or the Hofburg Spear), which forms part of the regalia of the Hapsburg monarchs and with which, according to Ravenscroft, Hitler was obsessed.
Trevor Ravenscroft begins his book by introducing us to Dr. Walter Johannes Stein (1891-1957), whom he portrays as his spiritual mentor. He tells how Stein had intended to begin work on a book on the theme of The Spear of Destiny in 1957, but collapsed only three days after making the decision to do so and died in hospital soon after. Ravenscroft is claiming to act almost as a posthumous amanuensis for the book. As we will see, this is highly significant.
The early part of the book is effectively a biography of the years Adolf Hitler spent in Vienna as a down-and-out, an understandably poorly documented period of the future Führer’s life. Ravenscroft’s religious beliefs shine through the writing, which is peppered with exclamation marks, and it soon becomes clear that he wishes to explain Hitler’s peculiar evil as a result of Satanic possession or, at least, influence.
Water color view of the Vienna Opera House by Adolf Hitler during his destitute years in Vienna.
Nevertheless, in this section of the book, Ravenscroft has much to say about Hitler’s alleged interest in the Grail, although it is a very different sort of Grail from that of the Arthurian legends: this one is more related to medieval alchemy. It was this interest that is said to have brought Hitler into contact with Walter Stein in 1911, when Ravenscroft claims that Stein purchased a copy of a nineteenth-century edition of Wolfram von Eschenbach’s (c 1170 – c 1220) Parzival, with learned but troubling annotations in Hitler’s handwriting, from a dingy second-hand bookshop.
We are told about Hilter’s special hatred for Rudolf Steiner and of Steiner’s own interest in the Spear before returning to Nazi history and the rise of Heinrich Himmler (1900-1945). Himmler’s antiquarian obsessions are well known and included an interest in the Hapsburg regalia, of which the Spear is a part. We are told how Hitler took the Spear from its case in the Schatzkammer (Treasury) of the Hofburg Museum on the day of his entry to Vienna following the Anschluss that incorporated Austria into Greater Germany. Then we lose sight of it again until the end of the Second World War, when it was allegedly discovered by Lieutenant Walter William Horn (1908-1995) at the very moment of Hitler’s suicide on 30 April 1945.
The first issue to address is that, as with so many religious relics, the Vienna Lance is not the only one. There are at least three others, including one in St Peter’s (Vatican City) and another in Vagharshapat (Վաղարշապատ, Armenia). The question of identity does not seem to have occurred to Trevor Ravenscroft, yet, if the idea that the very spear that pierced the side of Jesus has an occult power, the identity of the specific object is crucial to its possession of any such power (assuming, against all probability, that this sort of occult power has any reality). So, what is the claim of the Vienna Lance to be that very spear?
The Vienna Lance is first attested in the reign of Otto I (912-973, “The Great”) as Holy Roman Emperor (961-973). It became part of the Reichskleinodien (official regalia) of the Empire in 1424, when Sigismund of Luxembourg (1368-1437, Emperor 1433-1437) assembled a group of artefacts to be kept in Nürnberg (Nuremberg, Germany) as the official coronation and ceremonial accoutrements of the Emperor. During the Revolutionary Wars of 1796, when the French army was close to Nürnberg, the Reichkleinodien were given to Aloys Freiherr von Hügel (1754-1825) for transport to Vienna, where they remained until 1938.
In that year, the Nazi hierarchy took the collection to Nürnberg, where they were hidden on the Allies’ advance toward the city in 1945. They were recovered thanks to the efforts of Walter Horn, a medievalist working in the US Army, whose knowledge of both the history of the Holy Roman Empire and the German language, was able to ascertain their hiding place in 1946. They were returned to Vienna and remain in the Schatzenkammer in the Hofburg Museum.
That much is the recent history of the Vienna Lance. However, if it is the spear that was thrust into the dying body of Jesus on the cross, its history must be traced back farther than Otto I in the later tenth century CE. According to Trevor Ravenscroft, Walter Stein believed it to be among the relics brought to France by the shadowy Hugo of Tours. This much is possible; the Hofburg Museum has long believed it to be of Carolingian date (eighth or ninth century). However, it was examined by Robert Feather in 2003 as part of a television documentary and shown to be of a seventh-century type.
Some have suggested that Ravenscroft was writing fiction. There is even a suggestion that Ravenscroft’s publisher persuaded him to market what was written as a novel as non-fiction, but this does not seem to be borne out by the evidence.
If you’re interested….rare recorded interview with Trevor Ravenscroft:
Trevor Ravenscroft was born in England in 1921, went to a British public school, and subsequently went to Sandhurst Military College before serving as a Commando officer in World War II. He was captured on a raid which attempted to assassinate Field Marshal Rommel in North Africa and was a POW in Germany from 1941 to 1945, escaping three times but each time being recaptured before ending up in a German concentration camp.
After the war he studied medicine at St Thomas’ Hospital, later becoming a journalist on the Beaverbrook press. It was during this period that he met his teacher Dr. Walter Johannes Stein – a Viennese scientist and historian and expert on medieval and ancient art. Stein was in fact a student and associate of the great teacher Rudolf Steiner.
It was through Stein’s deep and earnest pursuit of occultism that he first met Hitler in Vienna when he was a student. He came to know Hitler personally, at a point where Hitler had come to learn of the legend of the spear and its power.
Ravenscroft for a time was spiritual advisor to the Shah of Iran.

musk is a step closer to owning twitter…should he still want it
FTA
Elon Musk’s $44 billion acquisition of Twitter is a step closer to completion as the regulatory waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976 officially expired on Friday.
The HSR requires companies to give advance notice of transactions above a certain threshold to the Federal Trade Commission and Department of Justice. The agencies have 30 days from the notification to pursue an initial investigation of the transaction to determine whether additional information is needed to assess its legality. Neither agency requested additional information.

The US Navy has reserved the names of states for their capital ships. Up to WWII, this was the battleship. Since the 1980’s, ballistic missile submarines have been named after states.
A new class of ballistic missile submarine has been approved to replace the Ohio class. It is called the “Columbia” class submarine. I was unaware until now that actually meant the Navy was going to call the lead submarine “District Of Columbia”. In other words, the left is designating Washington DC with the status of a state and they are doing it through the formal naming convention of the Navy.
To clarify, city names are already designated for use in naming US Navy attack submarines. The new “District Of Columbia” is a ballistic missile submarine. This is not some mistake.
The GOP said nothing. The GOP did nothing. The GOP hopes you won’t either. And then the left will simply have 2 Democrat senators from Washington DC show up in Congress. And the GOP will hope you will have grown used to the idea.
As long as we stay with the GOP, we have no representation in government

EXCERT: “On June 2, a violent brawl broke out between thousands of migrants on an Italian beach in Peschiera del Garda. A party organized by migrants from all across Lombardi via social media ended in fights, robberies, vandalism, stabbings, and police intervening with full riot gear.
The event had been broadcast for days with viral videos on TikTok. The mayors of Peschiera and Castelnuovo had already put the prefecture and law enforcement on notice. But only in the late afternoon, when the party had degenerated into a violent brawl with pipes, bottles, and knives, did police the intervention drive the migrants back towards the train station they arrived from.
“The first year there were 200, the year after that 500 and yesterday 2,000 thousand”. The warning signs that something big was boiling were all there. For days the migrants were active on social media, especially TikTok, making their plans to meet at the Lake. “I had notified the police on May 30. Of course, no one expected such an invasion,” explains Gaiulli.
The first incident that required police intervention was a fight started by the theft of a wallet. “There were families who ran away. Acts of vandalism led to several stabbings. We had nine local police officers on hand. It would have been impossible for them to face them alone.”
The hell lasted until the evening when the young foreigners invaded the Peschiera station on their way back home. The transport service was interrupted for several hours while the migrants terrorized innocent civilians. The first week of June marked the opening of the summer season on the Lake. Many residents worry that the violent Migrant attacks will be repeated throughout the summer.

Italian think-tank Fondazione Fare Futuro predicts that due to mass migration and the different birthrates of Christians and Muslims, half of Italy’s population could be Muslim by the end of the century. In just ten years, the number of migrants in Italy has surged by 419%.”

On Friday, political watchdog group Judicial Watch announced it received more than 2,000 pages of records revealing numerous cases of the illegal research. The probe by Judicial Watch has now uncovered evidence that the dangerous research was conducted in America without proper approval. Judicial Watch obtained the records in response to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.
One email uncovered by Judicial Watch, dated February 2020, reveals that the Biosafety Officer for the University of Nebraska, Lincoln Dr. Matt Anderson, reported an incident that began in March 2018. During the reported incident, Dr. Shi-Hua Xiang created an HIV pseudo-virus containing Marburg glycoprotein M78 in a university Biosafety Level 2 laboratory, for which he did not have authorization. AccordIng to the email, Dr. Xiang was told to cease any further work, Judicial Watch reported.
“During the investigation, it was determined that Xiang was assisted by student researchers and that the experiment had continued until enough virions were created to complete the experiments that were testing novel peptide inhibitors of viral entry. The report states that Xiang completed NIH Guidelines training in 2012, 2018, and 2019 on responsibilities of obtaining approval prior to engaging in these types of experiments.”

Entire Article: “Funerals are starting for the victims of the Uvalde school shooting. Burying a child is the worst thing a parent could ever go through. Throw the tragic event on top of that–throw the politicization and the media coverage on top of that. A Houston Chronicle reporter thought a funeral for one victim would be a good event to interrupt. He picked one where bikers were running security, who politely told him to go f*ck himself.
“I’m just trying to do my job.” “And we’re doing hours.”
Ten bucks say Julian thinks he’s the hero here. The “gang” is the Guardians of the Children. They are a non-profit “comprised of motorcycle enthusiasts that use motorcycles as tools to help children who have overcome child abuse, ages 0-17, become strong, confident, and courageous again.” They told the reporter they were asked to be there by the police. Whether that is true or not, I don’t care. What’s important is that they were there and they stopped a journalismer from crashing a funeral.
Seriously. Set aside the gun control debate, the school safety debate, the police response debate and every other argument Americans are having. Save “now is not the time” vs “when is the time” for next week. Do you know when we should all agree the time is not? AT A FUNERAL FOR A NINE-YEAR-OLD. If the families get one day when they are left alone from the rest of the world, it should be that day.”

“Based on the individual facts and circumstances of their alleged contempt, my office will not be initiating prosecutions for criminal contempt as requested in the referral against Messrs. Meadows and Scavino,” U.S. attorney for D.C. Matthew Graves wrote, according to a letter obtained by the New York Times.
The Democrat-controlled House voted in April mostly on partisan lines to hold Scavino and former White House economic adviser Peter Navarro in contempt of Congress. The resolution claimed they were in contempt for their “refusal to comply with subpoenas duly issued by” the January 6 Committee, a lopsided investigatory panel consisting of seven Democrats and two Republicans, Reps. Liz Cheney (R-WY) and Adam Kinzinger (R-IL), who were appointed by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).

Yours Truly would like to add something to the list of wonderful things for you of yesterday. This is about if, or when, you may think about selling your current home.
According to http://www.nolo.com/. the IRS rules are that, a person must own and have lived in their current home for at least two continuous years to be eligible for a $250,000 exemption from tax on the sale of the home ($500,000 if married owners are selling). It used to be that these exemptions were “once and done”, but the rules were changed so now it’s the “owned and lived in the home for at least two continuous years” rule.

Charlie Sykes: How did they not get this? James, I’m sorry… How do they not get this? You look at the states — like Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio — what percentage of the population has college degrees? And yet you are asking all of those people who are experiencing high anxiety to pay for this transfer of wealth…. And then I’m sorry, I know that Twitter is not real life … but all of these folks saying, ‘This is a betrayal. Only $10,000? I have $50,000 in college debt. If the Democrats are only going to forgive $10,000, well, then I’m not going to vote for them.’ Suck it, Buttercup.
I mean, seriously, where does Joe Biden think this groundswell is going to come from, except for this small group of highly-entitled college graduates who dominate the staffing and the inner workings of the Democratic party?
James Hohmann: I’ve asked, I’ve repeatedly asked people. And I’ve asked a lot of people in the White House this question, and essentially the answer is that this is the fault of Stacey Abrams and Raphael Warnock.
Charlie Sykes: What?
James Hohmann: Stacey Abrams has been browbeating the White House on this, and says that this is the only way she could win — that this is going to be a base turnout election. This isn’t about persuading people in the middle, it’s about getting the base to turn out. And the base isn’t going to turn out if they don’t do this, and that they have all sorts of stats about how a lot of graduates from HBCUs have all this debt. And so there are a lot of people very close to the president who privately understand that this is a complete disaster for them. But the president is being pulled really hard by these woke leftists who … believe it’s all about the base. They just don’t get it because they haven’t spent time in the WOW counties or in Apple Valley, Minnesota. (The Bulwark)

Entire Article: “DEVELOPING STORY: At least 14 people were injured and three people were killed outside Mary’s Bar and Grille early Sunday morning in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Police Chief Celeste Murphy described a chaotic scene where at least three people were run over by vehicles when the gunfire started. One person who was struck by a car has died. Video obtained by Newschannel 9 shows what appears to be the start of the attack. Watch below.
Speaking at a news conference just after 11 a.m., Chief Murphy says investigators believe more than one person opened fire. Murphy added that the wounded victims included one juvenile. She added that several of the victims were in critical condition. There have been no arrests.
“This is once again a situation in which we find that we need help from the community to help us out with this, because we cannot do this by ourselves,” Murphy said. “This is clearly a tragic event for the families involved and the victims.” But she says there is no immediate danger to the public. It has been a violent weekend in American cities. Over the past 18 hours, 15 people were shot in Philadelphia and 9 were shot in Phoenix.”

EXCERPT: “There are reasons we don’t like to refer to mass murders involving firearms as “mass shootings.” It’s a term that is used by corporate media to accomplish three primary goals. First, it takes the burden of responsibility off the criminal and places it on an inanimate object.
Second, corporate media has attached the phrase to white supremacy, a rule they only break when the crime is heinous enough to make their audience look past the race of the shooter, such as in Uvalde.
Third, it’s a scare phrase; they invariably invoke “mass shootings” whenever they’re about to push gun control while simply calling it a “shooting” when the crime betrays their narrative. We can see this last reason in action right now with a current headline by CNN. Even though more people were shot and killed in Philadelphia last night than in other recent stories in which they invoked the phrase “mass shooting,” they chose to simply call this one a “shooting.” They also buried the story on a sidebar on their homepage. MSNBC doesn’t even list it as a top story, just a part of their feed at the bottom of their page.
This story flies in the face of the current emotion-driven push for gun control. The firearms used were likely illegal already; we know the one gun recovered had an extended magazine which is not allowed in Philadelphia. The city itself has special laws that make it stricter on firearms than the rest of Pennsylvania. Democrats have controlled Philadelphia for seven decades.
NONE of the “common-sense gun safety laws” being proposed by Democrats and RINOs would have prevented this massacre.
————————
If the shooters or victims were mostly white and not in Democrat Hellhole Philadelphia with strict gun laws, there would be wall-to-wall coverage. Instead, racists in corporate media are treating it like they always treat Black-on-Black crime: minimal coverage and many yawns.”

EXCERPT: “In an effort to align all nations of the world with its public health policies, the WHO is drafting a “pandemic treaty,” which will achieve the status of law once it is approved and ratified by national mechanisms. In the US, that means a 2/3 approval by the Senate, followed by an official signing of the treaty by the President.
However, the schedule to allow stakeholder (NGO) and other input on a proposed pandemic treaty has apparently fallen under the guillotine, as the WHO is cancelling the second round of public input, scheduled for June 16-17. As of today, this appeared on the webpage for the Intergovernmental Negotiating Body, which was established by the WHO in late 2021 to facilitate the drafting of a pandemic treaty.
It appears that the first round of input was disastrous, as far as the WHO’s intent pursuant to this proposed treaty. According to James Roguski, a writer who has been focusing on pandemic issues, this is due to the overwhelmingly negative public response to the very idea of a pandemic treaty. He reports that:
1. There were 36,294 written submissions made via the dedicated online portal on the WHO website during the public hearings. In due course, those written submissions will be uploaded and archived on the WHO public hearings webpage.
2. The majority of written contributions proposed that no international instrument should be established.
In addition, the first round of hearings, which took place in April, featured a number of spoken contributions, which are archived here. These spoken contributions also reflected a general disinclination on the part of the contributors to endorse a treaty which would effectively strip sovereign nations of their health sovereignty.
———————–
The overall modus operandi here appears to be similar to what President Bush suggested after 9/11 — “Go shopping.” As reported by Justin Fox in Time Magazine, “After the 9/11 terrorist attacks, President Bush didn’t call for sacrifice. He called for shopping. ‘Get down to Disney World in Florida,’ he said. ‘Take your families and enjoy life, the way we want it to be enjoyed.’” Fox goes on to suggest that such exhortations have a calculated and cynical impetus, which is to deter public scrutiny.
We are wiser than that now. Our futures lie in the balance and this treaty will potentially cancel, indeed obliterate, our individual and collective voices should there be another so-called public health emergency. It is indeed time to tune in, rather than tune out.”

Pompeo was head of the agency during the time period that a bombshell Yahoo News investigative report last year revealed that the CIA allegedly plotted to kidnap or even kill Assange, following Washington outrage that WikiLeaks made public a batch of documents exposing the agency’s ultra-secretive hacking tools known as Vault 7.
At the time, the Yahoo report quoted a former Trump national security official who described that Pompeo and other top intel officials “were completely detached from reality because they were so embarrassed about Vault 7 … they were seeing blood.”
As ABC Spain reports, the summoning comes after filings by Assange’s legal team related to his ongoing proceedings with the UK government:
According to legal sources consulted by ABC, Pompeo has been summoned this June, although he may appear by videoconference. The same resolution agrees to call William Evanina, a former key US counterintelligence official who reportedly made statements supporting that theory. Pedraz has made this decision after the prosecutor Carlos Bautista reported in favor of the petition filed by the lawyer Aitor Martínez who, together with Baltasar Garzón, defends Assange.
The Spanish report continues, “Separately, Spain’s National Court has been probing a Spanish security firm that may have spied on Assange for the CIA while providing security for the Ecuadorean Embassy in London.” “National High Court Judge Santiago Pedraz agreed to summon Pompeo and former U.S. counterintelligence official William Evanina as witnesses to explain whether a plot was drawn up,” it adds.”

Entire Article @ BB: “An FBI report on ‘Active Shooter Incidents’ in 2021 shows that California was the number one state for such incidents, with six incidents total.
California is also number one for gun law strength, the Mike Bloomberg-affiliated Everytown for Gun Safety noted. According to the FBI, there were 61 “active shooter incidents” across the country in 2021 and 12 of the incidents met the definition of a “mass killing.” California led the nation with six “active shooter incidents.”
California has universal background checks, an “assault weapons” ban, a “high capacity” magazine ban, a 10-day waiting period on gun purchases, a red flag law, gun registration requirements, a “good cause” requirement for concealed carry permit issuance, a ban on carrying a gun on a college campus for self-defense, a ban on K-12 teachers being armed on campus for classroom defense, a background check requirement for ammunition purchases, and a limit on the number of guns a law-abiding citizen can purchase in a given month, among other controls.
Additionally, ammunition purchases are only allowed if made through a state-approved vendor.”

Entire Article @ BB: “A Florida man who was preoccupied by a woman performing oral sex while he was driving crashed his SUV head-on into an oncoming FedEx truck, according to officials. The collision occurred Thursday evening before 7:00 p.m. in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, at North Ocean Boulevard and 19th Street, Local 10 reported.
When Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue (FLFR) emergency personnel arrived at the scene of the crash, they found the couple naked, the local outlet noted. While the two FedEx employees sustained only minor injuries, the driver was reportedly injured due to the sexual act that was occurring during the collision, according to the FLFR. The female passenger also suffered only minor injuries.
As of yet, no one involved in the incident has been charged, Local 10 reported. Breitbart News has reached out to the FLFR and the Fort Lauderdale Police Department for comment. Breitbart News reported in 2019 that another Florida couple, who had been arrested for riding their bicycles while intoxicated, allegedly engaged in sex in the back of a police car after the arresting officer briefly stepped outside of the vehicle.
In 2016, a Houston man was arrested for allegedly having sex with a female passenger before crashing his vehicle, Breitbart News reported at the time.”

This is the silliest thing ever….I am watching “Pure Country” for probably the 20th time and every single time I watch it, at the beginning of the rodeo scene, when that paint really stretches out, digs in and let’s go, with God Bless America coming to a crescendo, I get goose bumps and tears fill my eyes! George Straight flat-out sucks as an actor but that movie….sigh….just gets me every time!

while cleaning up, the ladle I intended to rinse before putting in the dishpan, fell out of my hand and landed on the floor…splattering 4 cabinets and the stove before making a mess on the floor…
it’s been that kind of day…
