Octopuses are marine creatures that have an excellent sense of touch, powerful, beak-like jaws and venomous saliva. Their suckers have receptors that enable an octopus to taste what it is touching. They are predators, and they typically kill their prey by dropping down on them and enclosing it with their arms. The prey is then pulled into their beaks and broken up. An octopus’s beak resembles a parrot’s beak.

An octopus has three hearts, two of which pumps blood to the gills and the third heart circulates blood to rest of the body. Their blood is actually blue, mainly because of the presence of hemocyanin – a copper-based protein in its blood cells instead of an iron based system like we have. An octopus can squeeze itself into ridiculously small cracks and crevices because it has a soft body and lacks an internal skeleton.
The size of octopuses usually vary, normally ranging from 12 to 36 inches in length. According to National Geographic, the giant Pacific octopuses, which are found throughout the Pacific Ocean, weigh between 50 kg to 272 kg and measure over 30 feet long.
Octopuses are known to be masters of disguise in which they can easily change colors in 3-tenths of a second. It is one of their distinct features as it eludes predators easily. This talent is so impressive that they can instantly change colors accurately to that of their surroundings–including texture–hiding in plain sight to help catch prey off guard.

Because they have such a large brain, octopuses are a highly intelligent marine species. They also have a well-developed central nervous system and 500 million neurons found in their arms, allowing for touch, taste, and gripping its prey. 75% of the octopus’ neurons are located on its arms and each arm can do something on its own at the same time. When one of their arms is severed, it will actually regenerate itself.
Octopuses have a very short life span. Some species live only for six months; however the giant octopus can live as long as five or six years. According to some research, octopuses mate and then die in a few months. They are an egg-laying species, and a female octopus can lay 200,000 to 400,000 eggs at a time and will guard the eggs without eating until they hatch. The female octopuses die through cellular suicide soon after the eggs are hatched.

When an octopus is relatively hungry, everything is on the menu, and they will even eat their fellow octopus. Furthermore, scientists and researchers have also witnessed female octopuses eating their mating partner once breeding is done. However, male octopuses have learned how to avoid getting killed once copulation is done– including mating within arm’s reach to avoid getting eaten by the larger female and sometimes sacrificing one of its limbs just to get away as it will just soon regenerate.
All octopuses are venomous but evidence shows that the animal does not make the venom by itself. It is produced by symbiotic bacteria instead. The blue-ringed octopus is the most venomous to humans and they are fatal. It is estimated that a single drop of tetrodotoxin is enough to kill about 27 people in a matter of minutes.

Octopuses are fast swimmers, but they usually prefer to crawl rather than swim. While swimming, the systemic heart becomes inactive and stops delivering blood to its organs and makes them exhausted very soon. They can, however, crawl on land…which is why I avoid the beach!

Morning All!
really foggy here this morning…but I came down the stairs and saw 2 hummers sitting on the front railing, waiting for me to put up their feeders and a scolding oriole on the side railing telling me to put his out first…LOL

Wow! I’ve always been torn both ways with octopus – they are uber-creepy, while also being kind of fascinating. I did not know they had such a short life-span, among many other things included here. A lot of whys, too – like why would the systemic heart go inactive when swimming? And sooooo many fricking eggs!!!!
I watch the BBC’s Planet Earth and such programs and it is amazing how many different aquatic creatures there are in the oceans, especially waaaaaay down in the deep. And more and more are being discovered every day. The oceans are so vast, and there is still land that is unexplored, so I always look with a jaundiced eye at claims that such-and-such has gone extinct. Until every inch of sea and land have been explored, there is no possible way to know that for sure. At least, that’s MY opinion!

One of the main reasons my hubby left his company after more than 2 decades was Zero retirement. They briefly had a 401K matching program but that evaporated nearly 2 decades ago. His old boss was Trying to get him a raise before he died like 6 years ago & never did a raise materialize. After he left, our son who still works there, said that the company is now reinstating performance reviews (he’s never had one in 3 years there & they used to be every 6 months, iirc) & there is a plan for minimal performance based raises, which was never done before.
Hopefully once hubby gets the CDL-A & a trucking job we’ll land in a better financial spot…but that, like everything else in life, is all in God’s hands!

We’ve been in the trucking school phase nearly Three times as long as we’d anticipated–w/ no income (yet God has continued to provide for us–thankfully!).

Entire article @ BB: “NBC Los Angeles reports police arrived on scene at Laguna Woods’ Geneva Presbyterian Church to find that congregants hog-tied an alleged shooter with an extension cord.
Breitbart News pointed out that five people were wounded and one person killed when an alleged gunman opened fire in the church in the early afternoon. The Orange County Sheriff noted that four of the five wounded individuals were critically wounded.
NBC Los Angeles said law enforcement indicated that “one or more of the church congregants … acted quickly and ‘heroically’ to subdue the shooter, who was already ‘hog-tied’ with an extension cord when authorities arrived.”
The Daily Mail quoted Orange County Sheriff Jeff Hallock saying, “That group of churchgoers displayed what we believe is exceptional heroism and bravery in intervening to stop the suspect. They undoubtedly prevented additional injuries and fatalities. I think it’s safe to say that had people not intervened, it could have been much worse.’
The alleged shooter is in police custody and the weapon(s) in his possession were recovered at the scene.”

quietly on Friday shit-for-brains admin moved to take FIVE terrorist groups off the watchlist
FTA
There are potentially a few negative aspects to the groups listed as defunct or inactive. One is that we don’t actually know the specific reasons these groups were chosen — because it’s classified. And there’s the fact that it’s rare for groups to be removed from the blacklist.
All but one of the five groups was first designated a foreign terrorist organization in 1997 and have remained on the list for the past 25 years.
Before now, only 15 groups have been removed from the list.
Yet, Blinken is removing five at once? I don’t know about you, but that doesn’t reassure me.
Perhaps more ominious, though, is this: two of the groups are jihad or Sunni Islamist terror groups, which aren’t described by the AP as defunct or inactive.

EXCERPT: “Two Texas high school seniors who were discovered dead this month had fentanyl in their system, according to a toxicology report, and a 19-year-old suspect has been arrested and charged for allegedly supplying drugs to the teens, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) has announced.
A toxicology report has revealed that 17-year-old Grant Blodgett and 18-year-old Irene Sunderland both had fentanyl in their systems when they were found dead at a residence on Stanwick Place in The Woodlands on May 5, the MCSO said in a release. Prior to the autopsies, the MCSO believed their deaths were the result of overdoses, the release noted.
An investigation has led to the arrest of Abdulbaaith Abiodun Adewale, 19, on “two charges of manufacture or delivery of controlled substance causing death or serious bodily injury,” according to the release. Online inmate records show he was booked on May 12 and is being held on a $150,000 bond.
An arrest warrant said Blodgett and Sunderland — both of whom attended Woodlands High School and were in a romantic relationship together — were discovered dead by Sunderland’s mother in a bedroom where drugs were present, KHOU reported. According to the document, Sunderland’s mother intended to bring her daughter to rehab that day as both the teenagers have had years-long struggles with drug addiction.”

The resident, speaking to FOX News, said, “It’s ridiculous [and] something has to change, from the bottom to the top. If they’re not going to something, we have to do something.”
He said, “I feel bad for the people that was in there because after the security guard got shot…[the attacker] was shooting people still.”
The resident added, “If more people were armed—and knew what they were doing with a gun—because it’s not the gun. It’s the person with the gun that don’t know how to act.”
After suggesting that more people be armed to defend themselves, the resident said, “I just hope something comes of this.”

Ah!! Good ole’ Breitbart (one has to wonder if the Mercers had a hand in Andrew’s murder!) inserts the word “bizarre!”
EXCERPT: “Pro-government protesters in the Malian capital of Bamako unfurled Russian flags and banners with slogans such as “Down with France” in a bizarre demonstration on Friday.
A former French colony, forces from France had been operating in the troubled African state for some time to try and tackle Islamist insurrectionists, but the Emmanuel Macron-led European Union member-state has drawn down these operations amid tensions with a Malian government which is increasingly turning to Russia and Russian mercenaries for support instead.
Supporters of the military government rallied on Friday to express support for this shift, with some wearing Vladimir Putin masks and others bearing placards showing the Russian leader delivering a wheel kick to President Macron’s neck in martial arts garb.
Slogans such as “Down with France” and “Down with MINUSMA” were reportedly chanted — the latter a reference to the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA).”

Entire article @ BB: “An 80-year-old Nebraska woman recently earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO), proving that it is never too late for one to pursue his or her dreams. Eighty-year-old Madeline Adams first started at UNO back in 1960, but she was unable to finish her degree at the time because, as she told KETV, “life happened.” “(I was) expecting, married, second child, third child, divorced, moved out of state,” she added.
The octogenarian moved to Missouri, where she worked in real estate for a decade and a half before relocating again to Honolulu, Hawaii, KETV reported. From there, she came back to the mainland U.S. After living in Arizona for a time, Adams moved to Texas to live with her daughter, Robin Wright, who came to a realization as she was helping her mother get settled.
“I noticed that she had 40 credits from UNO and I said, ‘Mom, why don’t you just finish,’” Wright said. The 80-year-old re-enrolled at UNO and signed up for online courses. She stuck to it and realized her aspiration of becoming a college graduate. “I always told my children, ‘Don’t start anything you can’t finish,’ so, I had to be the example,” Adams said.
UNO’s website commencement took place on Friday, and Adams – listed as an Omaha native – graduated with a degree in Multidisciplinary Studies.
The college graduation season has shed light on a number of heartwarming stories around the country. An anonymous donor cleared the loans of the entire graduating class at Wiley College in Texas, while a valedictorian with nonverbal autism delivered an inspiring commencement speech at Rollins College in Florida.”

EXCERPT: “For many observers, one of the most astonishing developments to accompany the CCP virus is the way in which leading “capitalists” have enthusiastically embraced and praised China’s totalitarian “solutions” to the pandemic. Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, Ray Dalio, BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, Blackstone, Carlyle, Citibank, and other Wall Street behemoths and their corporate clients have happily cheered on the Covid bandwagon. Of course, as “essential” businesses they have prospered mightily during the pandemic while their smaller, less-politically-connected competitors have been crippled or wiped out.
The convergence of the Western corporate elites with the CCP elites was no surprise to readers of The New American, since we have been chronicling this phenomenon in these pages for the past several decades. However, with the onset of the Covid pandemic, the world has witnessed the globalists even more openly embracing the communists and their despotic ways. This was brought to the fore in the summer of 2020 during the June meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF), with the announcement of their plans for “The Great Reset.”
———————
Not long after the Covid pall descended upon us, researchers began noticing a curious thing: Prior to the pandemic many of the key players in the forefront of the pandemic response effort — government officials, intelligence agencies, UN agencies, tax-exempt foundations, medical research institutions — had engaged in pandemic scenarios (“Germ Games”) that were eerily similar to the Covid-19 breakout. Beginning with Operation Dark Winter in 2001, these players have conducted more than a dozen Germ Games bearing names such as Atlantic Storm, Global Mercury, Lockstep, MARS, SPARS, CladeX, Crimson Contagion, and Event 201. While “war games” are a valid and useful tool to simulate and prepare for preventing or responding to potential future crises, a disturbing thread runs through these Germ Game exercises.
These training scenarios invariably have focused on indoctrinating public decision-makers to respond to infectious disease outbreaks with inflexible, coercive dictates that concentrate and centralize governmental control over all aspects of life. Rather than truly “following the science,” the Germ Games invoked authoritarianism masquerading as science to justify forcing the global population into “lockstep” conformity with government mandates. Compliance would be accomplished largely through orchestrated germ propaganda that would terrify citizens into surrendering their independence, freedom, and rights. The exercises taught implicitly that the mental coercion of propaganda may not be sufficient and would likely need to be augmented by the brute force of military and police — just as we have witnessed throughout the world during Covid.
Now, in the wake of the Covid plandemic, we find the same individuals and institutions assuming the lead in planning for global “food security.” Under Covid, the denizens of Big Pharma, with their allied investors and bought-and-paid-for politicians, have gained control over much of our medical and health sectors. Now we are seeing a similar concentration of control over our agriculture and food sectors. Bill Gates, one of the four wealthiest men in the world, is the single most influential person on the planet in directing global health and vaccine policies, with fingers in all aspects of private and public activity. In the past few years, the Microsoft billionaire has become the largest individual owner of American farmland, buying up more than 240,000 acres across eighteen states. Fellow overpopulation alarmist Ted Turner has bought up over 2 million acres of ranchland across eight states.
Many of the mega-corporations, pension funds, and Wall Street investment firms have likewise been gobbling up land. The Covid lockdowns, which have driven many farmers into financial distress or bankruptcy, are allowing these buyers to pick up prime parcels at bargain rates. Over the past several years, this increasing concentration has been accompanied by a steady drumbeat of reports on food security from the Council on Foreign Relations, the Rockefeller Foundation, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Atlantic Council, and United Nations adjuncts such as the World Health Organization, the Food and Agricultural Organization, the World Food Programme, the International Monetary Fund, and the World Bank.”

EXCERPT: “2050: That’s the deadline that President Joe Biden has set to decarbonize the U.S. power sector and supposedly save the planet from man-made climate catastrophe. In issuing his December executive order prioritizing a “Clean Energy Economy,” Eco-Joe pledged you, the American taxpayer, to spend billions in the next three decades to achieve net-zero carbon emissions “across federal operations” by mid-century.
Blue-state governors and some power companies hail the proposals as ground-breaking, according to the International Business Times. However, Biden is facing hostility from Republicans and coal-producing states, who are challenging the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in the Supreme Court about whether the administration has authority to implement the scheme.
What few are talking about is how unfeasible the plans actually are. They “are not just impossible. They are pie-in-the-sky, flying unicorns, bull-goose looney impossible,” writes analyst Willis Eschenbach in his article Bright Green Impossibilities posted at the award-winning science blog Watts Up With That?
Eschenbach’s critique may seem harsh, but is it justified? To answer that question, we’ll review what he postulates it will take to accomplish Biden’s plans. First, a brief tutorial is necessary to understand terms. Then we’ll look at world energy needs and determine what portion the United States will require.”
——————
Admittedly, the above analysis omits many variables that also merit consideration. For example, we haven’t looked at the cost of each installation project in terms of time, energy, real estate, and manufacturing. Eschenbach quotes top consulting firm McKinsey, which slaps a price tag of “around $30 billion per day for the next 25 years” on UN net-zero emissions targets. However, even without that figure it is easy to see why Eschenbach calls them “looney.”
Another matter we overlooked is the real-life example of Germany, where Forbes reports a renewables transition to the tune of $580 billion by 2025. The country is also looking at “a 50% increase in electricity prices, flat emissions, and an electricity supply that is 10 times more carbon-intensive than France’s,” where nuclear is king.
The punch line is that all this upheaval of world energy sectors is to prevent a hypothetical human-caused 1.5° Celsius rise in average global temperature. Perhaps that will be a consolation when we’re paying exorbitant utility bills by candlelight.”

The Vancouver Police Department executed a search warrant on Stephen Sharp last week, where they obtained the disturbing footage. Sharp later confessed to urinating in milkshake mix on at least two occasions, claiming he did it for sexual gratification.
“The alleged actions of the former franchised employee are abhorrent and unacceptable,” an Arby’s spokesperson told KTTV. “We have taken immediate action with the franchise group who terminated the former employee and is fully cooperating with the authorities in their investigation.”
Sharp reportedly told police that he was “almost sure” he threw out the bag of milkshake mix he had urinated in. “The affidavit states Sharp said he was working alone in the restaurant that night and that he did it for sexual gratification,” The Columbian reported. “He told detectives that if he didn’t throw the bag away, it would have been added to other mix by the next shift and served to people, court records state.”
The Clark County Public Health Director Dr. Alan Melnick assured the public that there is no “significant health risk to consuming a drink contaminated with urine,” according to The Columbian.

The number of solar connections in Dharnai and surrounding neighborhoods with access to the solar grid fell from 255 in 2014 to 120 in 2016, a Nalanda University study published in 2020 concluded. The study blamed high prices associated with solar power and the grid’s unreliability — villagers were warned not to use high power appliances like televisions and refrigerators — on the decreasing connections.
“We left solar connection after using it for one year. How can poor people like us pay such amounts of money?” an anonymous local told Nalanda University. “They used to give electricity only for two hours. During rain, they do not use to give electric supply and so does during the fog in the winter.”
Dharnai was eventually connected to the region’s coal-powered grid in 2016, giving villagers access to a much cheaper and more reliable power source, Mongabay-India reported. Coal power also allowed them to use high-power appliances.

Barnette’s statement about whether she’ll support the repub candidate if she loses the primary…
FTA
“If you do not win tomorrow, do you intend to support the Republican nominee whoever it is?”
“I have no intentions of supporting globalists,” Barnette said. “I believe we have ran out of room on this runway for this spaceship. I believe we have very little rope left to just roll the dice and we’ll see how it all works out on the other end. I believe our country is in trouble. I don’t believe we have much longer and I believe what I have done is I have made it possible where Pennsylvanians do not have to hold their nose and vote for the lesser of two evils this time. I don’t think we have room to just vote for any old warm body with an R next to their name. I think we can do better than that.”

now dr perfect wants barnette BARRED from the priary for her “islamophobic” remarks…playing a “race” card is leftist
FTA
Oz has already criticized his principal opponent, Kathy Barnette, for “Islamophobia,” a made-up word designed to inhibit criticism of jihad violence and Sharia oppression, and one that is in common usage among Leftists but rarer among patriots. On Saturday, however, Oz went even farther, charging that Barnette should actually be banned from running for the Senate, and presumably for anything else, because she doesn’t have a sufficiently positive view of Islam.
Oz’s demand raises some interesting questions. On the Left, criticizing Christianity is generally seen as “courageous,” even “heroic,” as can be seen in the enduring popularity of Richard Dawkins, Sam Harris, the late Christopher Hitchens, and the like. Criticizing Islam, on the other hand, is “hateful,” “bigoted,” and “racist” as far as Leftists are concerned. If Dawkins or Harris or some other critic of Christianity were to end up running for a Senate seat somewhere in the U.S., would Oz call for this candidate to be disqualified? Almost certainly not.
For criticizing Islam, however, Barnette has aroused Oz’s enduring ire. Apparently back in 2015 she tweeted “Pedophilia is a Cornerstone of Islam,” although she now claims that she “would never have said that.” That’s unfortunate, as she offered no explanation of how the remark appeared on her Twitter feed if she didn’t say it, and it demonstrates that she is allowing Oz to put her on the defensive and that she is unsure how to respond. She would be better off just owning the remark and defending it, as there is certainly ample justification in Islam for thinking this.
Turkey’s directorate of religious affairs (Diyanet) said in January 2018 that under Islamic law, girls as young as nine can marry. Ishaq Akintola, professor of Islamic Eschatology and Director of Muslim Rights Concern, Nigeria, said in 2016: “Islam has no age barrier in marriage and Muslims have no apology for those who refuse to accept this.” Dr. Abd Al-Hamid Al-‘Ubeidi, Iraqi expert on Islamic law, said in 2008: “There is no minimum marriage age for either men or women in Islamic law. The law in many countries permits girls to marry only from the age of 18. This is arbitrary legislation, not Islamic law.”
Dr. Salih bin Fawzan, prominent cleric and member of Saudi Arabia’s highest religious council, declared in 2014 that there is no minimum age for marriage in Islamic law at all and that girls can be married “even if they are in the cradle.” Pakistan’s Council of Islamic Ideology has ruled that “Islam does not forbid marriage of young children.”
These authorities say these things because hadiths that Muslims consider authentic record state that Muhammad’s favorite wife, Aisha, was six when Muhammad wedded her and nine when he consummated the marriage: “The Prophet wrote the (marriage contract) with Aisha while she was six years old and consummated his marriage with her while she was nine years old and she remained with him for nine years (i.e. till his death)” (Bukhari 7.62.88).
This doesn’t mean that all Muslims are pedophiles or approve of pedophilia, but it does mean that what Barnette wrote was not unreasonable. Oz, however, wants her banned from the race for it. “It’s reprehensible,” he said, “that she would tweet out something that is defamatory to an entire religion. This state was based on religious freedom. I’m proud as a Pennsylvanian to uphold those founding beliefs that every faith has its merits. Every time she answers a question, she raises more questions. But I think it’s disqualifying to make Islamophobic and homophobic comments, not just for the general election, but the Republican primary as well.”
Disqualifying. So apparently Oz believes that it is or ought to be a condition for running for Senate in the state of Pennsylvania that one thinks Islam is just grand. If we had any journalists, they’d be pressing Oz about whether he thought criticism of Christianity or other religions would likewise disqualify one for office. And they’d be asking about his understanding of the First Amendment and its importance. But since we don’t have any journalists, the good doctor will almost certainly remain unchallenged on these all-important points.

Spit! Here’s BB’s take on Kathy’s refusal to support the nominee who wins the primary if she loses:
“In reply, she said she will not support the Republican nominee against the likely Democrat nominee Lt. Gov. John Fetterman. It is worth noting Fetterman is an avowed socialist, so Barnette refusing to support either Dr. Mehmet Oz or businessman David McCormick if one of them wins instead of her essentially means she would be helping a socialist Democrat win in the general election.
———————–
That also means she could be, depending on what happens elsewhere in America, helping Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) remain the U.S. Senate Majority Leader. Schumer’s slim majority would fall if the GOP takes back a net one seat from Democrats in the midterm elections. This vacant seat for which Barnette, McCormick, and Oz, among others, are running is currently represented by outgoing GOP Sen. Pat Toomey (R-PA). Losing this seat for Republicans would mean that the GOP needs to take two Democrat-held seats elsewhere–no small task, given the Democrat advantages in the 2022 U.S. Senate map–and hold every other battleground seat to retake the majority.”

EXCERPT: “In a new poll, far-left NBC News buried a devastating find about the shameless child grooming degenerates at Disney. Rather than report out Disney’s favorability crash, NBC ignored it altogether. Other outlets dishonestly reported on the find as some sort of triumph over Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL), but here’s the thing…
The child grooming degenerates at the Walt Disney Co. are in serious trouble. The brand has been smashed to pieces. When you’re a once-universally beloved multinational corporation that is now barely polling better than a politician, what more is there to say…?
So here’s the rundown of Disney’s net favorability rating since 2017… For those not familiar with the polling lingo, net favorability simply subtracts your unfavorable rating from your favorable rating. If 17 percent of the public view you unfavorably and 80 percent view you favorably — your net favorability is +63 points. On the flipside, if 80 percent view you unfavorably and 17 percent view you favorably, your net favorability is -63 points.
The internals are no longer available for this 2017 Morning Consult poll but we do know that five years ago, Disney’s net favorability rating was a very healthy +63 percent. About 14 months ago, Public Opinion Strategies found that Disney still had a “very favorable image among Americans” — a net favorability rating of +56 (77% favorable/21% unfavorable).
Oh, but what a difference a year makes, a year filled with Disney coming out of the closet to openly advocate for schools to sexually groom prepubescent children with gay porn and anti-science transsexual voodoo. In a poll released over the weekend, NBC found (and hid) the fact that Disney’s net favorability rating has crashed 53 points to a devastating +3.
A fall from a +56 to just a +3 in one year. Those numbers are fine for a politician. They are death for a corporation. NBC found that only 33 percent of those polled had a positive opinion of Disney, while 30 percent felt unfavorably towards the degenerate child grooming company.
That’s only a single point better than Gov. DeSantis, who sits at +2, 28 percent favorable, 26 percent unfavorable. And this is a national poll where Disney has close to 100 percent name recognition and 31 percent don’t know DeSantis.
As I said above, some outlets are dishonestly spinning this as a win for Disney, which is beyond pathetic. No corporation, especially a corporation like Disney, wants to poll like a politician. But this is exactly what these sick, child abusers deserve.”

EXCERPT: “His Fraudulency Joe Biden set up a website to help desperate parents locate baby formula, and to the surprise of no one, the website is utterly useless.
This is per, of all places, CNN, a far-left propaganda outlet that spreads conspiracy theories and political violence. If CNNLOL publishes negative reports about a Democrat president, most especially a far-left extremist like Joe Biden, you know things are bad.
On Friday, after the corporate media and White House could no longer ignore America’s baby formula shortage crisis, the administration announced a new website: HHS.gov/formula. Outgoing White House Press Secretary Lyin’ Ginger said, “We recognize that parents have a lot of questions,” and the website will offer “resources and places that parents can go to obtain formula, including contacts with companies, food banks and health care providers.”
Well, far-left CNN took the website out for a spin and got Healthcare.gov flashbacks:
‘A CNN reporter tested out some of those resources to try to determine how helpful they are likely to be for parents who are desperately looking to procure baby formula. The exercise resulted in apologetic customer service representatives, one hold time that lasted well over an hour, and serious challenges in finding baby formula through some of the main suggestions listed on the new HHS website.’
And on and on it went like that…”

Entire article @ BB: “Former first lady Melania Trump sat down with Fox News Channel at her home in Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, FL and looked back on her time in the White House.
In the interview, which aired on FNC’s “Fox & Friends Weekend,” Trump was asked about how she dealt with criticism from the media and the difference in treatment between her and members of the Biden administration, which Fox’s Pete Hegseth noted had already been featured on Vogue magazine.
The former first lady described the media as “biased” and said it was “obvious” they did not like former President Donald Trump or herself. She encouraged her critics in the media “to help their own community” or join her Foster the Future initiative.
“They are biased,” Trump replied. “And they have likes and dislikes. And it’s so obvious. And I think American people and everyone sees it. It was their decision, and I have much more important things to do, and I did in the White House than being on the cover of Vogue.”
“[P]eople I see always criticize me whatever I do, and I’m used to that,” she added. “I move forward, and I’m here to help the people, and that is the mission. And those people who criticize me, I would encourage them to help their own community or join to Foster the Future initiative.”
The video is 8:55 minutes; at about the 4:40 mark, she begins talking about her program to provide scholarships to foster children who have aged out of the system:
