America’s house is home to more than just presidents and their families.

Sure it’s been the site of intense diplomatic meetings, grand parties, and important declarations, but the White House is notoriously haunted by some very famous ghosts.

Two grieving first ladies—Abigail Adams and Mary Todd Lincoln—held seances in the White House, hoping to speak with the spirits of their dead children. Opening that door to speak with the dead apparently allowed a sinister presence to take up residence in the presidential estate. Something has been tormenting presidents, their families, and their staff for more than 100 years.

Abigail Adams

Abigail Adams, the wife of the second president, John Adams, did her own laundry when she lived in the White House, and there’s apparently still plenty of washing to be done. White House staffers have seen her ghost floating around the East Room with her arms holding an invisible load of laundry. Sometimes, they smell wet clothes or even the scene of lavender in the area.

Abraham Lincoln

The ghost of Honest Abe just can’t seem to move on following his 1865 assassination. There are numerous stories of Lincoln’s bearded ghost appearing to White House residents, staff, and visitors. A nude Winston Churchill, the British Prime Minister,once emerged from the bathroom to see Lincoln sitting in his room during a visit in the 1940s.

Lincoln is said to lurk around the Yellow Oval Room and the Lincoln bedroom. First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt spent a lot of time working in the Lincoln bedroom, and she apparently saw him often. Calvin Coolidge’s wife, Grace, reportedly caught Lincoln looking out of a window in the Lincoln Bedroom. One night, Lady Bird Johnson was watching a documentary about Lincoln’s death when she said she felt his spirit nearby.

Ronald Reagan’s dog, Rex, is believed to have seen Lincoln’s ghost as well. Apparently the dog would regularly stand at the door to the Lincoln bedroom and bark, and the president believed Rex could see Lincoln.

Andrew Jackson

The nation’s seventh president apparently still spends time in his old bedroom where he can be heard laughing. Mary Todd Lincoln often said she heard Jackson stomping and swearing. Perhaps his ghost is reliving the raucous 1829 inauguration party in which the White House was effectively trashed by thousands of celebrants exploring the estate.

Harry Truman

Harry Truman once joked, “My choice early in life was either to be a piano player in a whorehouse or a politician. And to tell the truth, there’s hardly any difference.” Was it Truman’s piano that the Bush twins, Barbara and Jenna, heard in their room after their father, George W. Bush, took office?

William Henry Harrison

Harrison, the ninth president, holds the record for holding the office of president for the least amount of time—just 31 days—but his ghost has been there way longer than that. Apparently, William Henry Harrison left something in the attic, and he’s still walking around up there and looking for it to this day.

Dolley Madison

The wife of President James Madison is very protective over the Rose Garden. When Woodrow Wilson was President, an effort to move the garden was abandoned when people began seeing Molley Madison’s ghost, according to the Washington, Post.

You can go buy those pings off of certain geographic areas… They saw that some of these mules would visit these drop boxes every night. And then go to Stacey Abrams’ headquarters and then go back to the drop boxes.

    2. I watched several videos from another guy – not Kash Patel but someone similar to him – showing the people dumping ballots – 20-30 on the dashboard of their taxi’s – after admitting – on video tape – to having been paid by Ilhan’s campaign staff.

  17. Entire article @ BB: “Oklahoma’s Republican-led State Legislature passed a law on Tuesday which would ban abortion in nearly every circumstance and punish physicians who perform abortions with heavy fines, jail time, or both.

    The Oklahoma House voted 70-14 to pass SB 612, sending it to Gov. Kevin Stitt (R), who has previously vowed to sign “every piece of pro-life legislation” that comes across his desk, the New York Times reported. The bill bans all abortions “except to save the life of a pregnant woman in a medical emergency.” The bill defines a medical emergency as “a pregnant woman whose life is endangered by a physical disorder, physical illness or physical injury including a life-endangering physical condition caused by or arising from the pregnancy itself.”

    The law would also make performing an abortion a “felony punishable by $100,000,” imprisonment for up to 10 years, or both, according to the bill’s text. Republican state Rep. Jim Olsen emphasized that “the penalties are for the doctor, not for the woman.” If Stitt signs the bill, the law will take effect on August 26, the Senate clerk’s office told the Times.

    Olsen, who authored the bill, said the law was passed in “anticipation of a pending Supreme Court decision on a Mississippi law which bans abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy,” the report states. The case, Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, is the most significant challenge in decades to the Court’s 1973 Roe v. Wade decision, which declared abortion to be protected by the U.S. Constitution.

    “Obviously, I’m thrilled because we have the potential of seeing many lives of babies saved — part of that depends on future court rulings,” he said, adding that the bill passed without any floor debate.

    In stark contrast to a law recently passed in Colorado, which declares that unborn children at all stages have no rights and permits abortions at all stages of pregnancy, Oklahoma’s bill says that the “terms ‘abortion’ and ‘unborn child’ shall have the same meaning.” The bill was passed as roughly 100 people protested in support of abortion outside the state’s capitol. “These legislators have continued their relentless attacks on our freedoms,” claimed Emily Wales, interim president and CEO of Planned Parenthood Great Plains Votes.

    The House also passed a resolution on Tuesday designating January 22, 2022, the “Day of Tears” in Oklahoma. The legislature assigned that date because the Supreme Court “erroneously ruled” that abortion was a constitutional right in Roe v. Wade on January 22, 1973. The measure encourages Oklahoma citizens to lower their flags to half-staff to “mourn the innocent, preborn children who have lost their lives due to abortion.”

    “Since that ill-fated day, over sixty-one million (61,000,000) preborn children in the United States have perished,” the text states.”

    What’s more, changing to another oil would reportedly not only likely result in a lesser crisp, but require the company to change all its packaging, resulting in “huge financial pressures” for the business.”

    A judge has issued the first outright acquittal of a defendant charged in the Capitol siege.

    Following a two-day bench trial in U.S. District Court in Washington, New Mexico engineer Matthew Martin was acquitted Wednesday on four misdemeanor charges by Judge Trevor McFadden. Martin claimed that he thought the police had allowed him into an entrance near the Capitol Rotunda on Jan. 6.

    McFadden said that, based on video of the scene, that assertion was at least “plausible” and that prosecutors failed to prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt. “People were streaming by and the officers made no attempt to stop the people,” said the judge, an appointee of President Donald Trump.

    Prosecutors argued that broken windows and blaring alarms should have alerted Martin that he did not have permission to enter, but McFadden said the sheer size of the crowd coupled with the conduct of the police undermined that evidence.

    The ruling is a blow to the Justice Department and seems likely to elevate similar defenses from hundreds of other members of the mob who have claimed that they didn’t know they weren’t permitted inside the Capitol and believed that police officers had approved their presence.

    Martin, who became the first Jan. 6 defendant to testify in his own defense, said he believed that an officer waved him into the Rotunda lobby at about 3 p.m. that day. McFadden said that he did not believe that, but that the way the officer briefly interrupted the flow of people and then stepped back to allow it to resume could have given Martin that impression.

    “I do think the defendant reasonably believed the officers allowed him into the Capitol,” the judge said.

    McFadden stressed that he wasn’t criticizing the officers, who he said “were grossly outnumbered at that point. I think they acted responsibly and reasonably throughout,” the judge said.

    However, the verdict could be viewed as a message to prosecutors that pursuing criminal charges against nearly every demonstrator who entered the Capitol on Jan. 6 was unwise and that resources should have been trained more intensely on those accused of violence or of conspiring to block the electoral vote count.

    McFadden called Martin’s conduct on Jan. 6 “about as minimal … as I can imagine.”
