WOW! almost a year since i started this post…hoping for nothing but a quick smile or laugh to get us thru. been a long time…sigh…2 weeks to flatten the nonexistent curve…hope it’s over soon!!

          1. the hypocrisy with everything–they can riot, we shouldn’t go to church. they can have funerals (6 per ONE person) and we can’t funerals for our loved ones. Cuomo can visit a restricted state and not quarantine when he comes back but jail awaits commoners who try that. it’s getting maddening

            1. Yep, sickening. My folks in an assisted living place have had no outside friends or family visits since Feb. Just in the last month or so, the family can come visit from 2-4 PM (um working adult children are the caregivers????) only after a temperature screening and a mandatory mask! I wonder how that goes with my mother who has Alzheimer’s?

  48. Popping in to say hello and let you know that all is good on the Boon family front. Kal’s leukemia treatment has been stabilized and he and we have a better quality of life and the cancer is being beaten. Anthony is doing well, we miss him. Since the Chy-Nah woohoo flu lockdown we have not been able to see him. I am well and busy with Marica’s.

    I hope all has settled down with your hubby and you are both enjoying your summer. Take care and smoochas and (((hugs for you and hubs))). Bren

      so sad that you can’t see Anthony!!
      Hope your classes have finished…I’m sure you aced all of them!
      we have been battling raccoons–6 so far–caught and dispatched. nightly destroying my deck–ripping out the flowers I had in pots, peeing and pooping everywhere, wrecking the hummer feeders…what a battle!
      but we’re getting thru it!

      1. Oh, yes I did finish my classes. I blew a final exam for one class, but passed the class barely so that brought my GPA down to 3.35 but all is good. I have a contract job helping a realtor with her online paperwork and doing well with that. Sorry to hear the racoons have been so destructive. We have coyotes off in the distance and feral cats, but no other wildlife in the yard. Thank you for the prayers, and we up hold you and dear hubby in our prayers too. I don’t get to Qtree much, too busy with Marica’s and IRL activities.
